この発明に係るわさびの栽培装置においては、栽培ベッド内に栽培床を充填するとともに前記栽培ベッドにおける前記栽培床よりも下方に所要数の排水孔を設け、且つ、前記栽培ベッドに流水量調節手段を設けたわさびの栽培装置において、前記流水量調節手段として、前記栽培ベッドの底板に前記排水孔を穿ち、この排水孔の内側から外側に向かって防水シートを袋状に突出させるとともにこの突出した袋状の防水シート内に重り部材を収容し、且つ、前記栽培ベッドに防水シート破壊手段を設け、この防水シート破壊手段によって前記防水シートを破壊可能としたため、当該排水孔に栽培用水が流れるようにして排水孔を増加させることができる結果、わさび苗の根の伸長・展開に連れて流水量を調節することができる。
