Description
また,上記オーバーコート層の厚さは,0.01〜5μmであるように構成してもよい。 また,上記感光層は,電荷発生物質と電荷輸送物質とを含む単層構造を有するように構成してもよい。一方,上記感光層は,電荷発生物質を含む電荷発生層と,電荷輸送物質を含む電荷輸送層とからなる2層構造を有するように構成してもよい。
以下に,本発明の第1の実施形態にかかるオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物と,この組成物を用いて製造されたオーバーコート層を含む有機感光体と,この有機感光体を具備する電子写真感光体,電子写真カートリッジおよび電子写真ドラムついて説明する。
まず,上記有機感光体1表面に静電気的に電荷を均一に印加して帯電させる。次いで,有機感光体1表面に画像光を照射して露光し,選択された領域において電荷を消散させることによって,上記表面上に帯電領域及び非帯電領域の潜像パターンを形成する。次いで,上記静電気的潜像が形成された上記表面を湿式または乾式トナーに接触させてトナー画像を形成した後,上記トナー画像を紙等の媒体に転写して融着させる。このような画像形成サイクルが複数回反復される。
以上のような,実施例にかかる有機感光体1及び比較例にかかる有機感光体の帯電電位及び露光電位を,ドラム感光体評価装置(PDT2000,QEA社)を用いて,帯電−露光−除電サイクルを100サイクル毎に反復して評価した。帯電器と有機感光体の相対速度が100mm/secである条件で,+8.0kVコロナ電圧が印加されて,有機感光体が帯電された。次いで,直ちに780nm波長の単色光を1mJ/m2の一定の露光エネルギーで露光させた。このような評価結果を表1にまとめる。

Claims (16)
- ポリアミノエーテル,電子輸送物質及びアルコール系溶媒を含むことを特徴とする,有機感光体のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物。
- 前記ポリアミノエーテルは,ヒドロキシ化されたポリアミノエーテルであることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載の有機感光体のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物。
- 前記電子輸送物質の含量は,オーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物の固形分100重量部を基準として1〜30重量部であることを特徴とする,請求項1,2,3または4のいずれかに記載の有機感光体のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物。
- 前記アルコール系溶媒は,1−メトキシ−2−プロパノール,メタノール,エタノール,プロパノール,ブタノール,およびイソプロパノールからなる群より選択された少なくともいずれかであり,
前記アルコール系溶媒の含量は,オーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物100重量部を基準として70〜99重量部であることを特徴とする,請求項1,2,3,4または5のいずれかに記載の有機感光体のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物。 - 導電性支持体と;
前記導電性支持体上に形成された感光層と;
請求項1,2,3,4,5または6のいずれかに記載のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物を前記感光層上にコーティングして乾燥させることにより形成されたオーバーコート層と;
を含むことを特徴とする,有機感光体。 - 前記オーバーコート層の厚さは,0.01〜5μmであることを特徴とする,請求項7に記載の有機感光体。
- 前記感光層は,電荷発生物質と電荷輸送物質とを含む単層構造を有することを特徴とする,請求項7または8のいずれかに記載の有機感光体。
- 前記感光層は,電荷発生物質を含む電荷発生層と,電荷輸送物質を含む電荷輸送層とからなる2層構造を有することを特徴とする,請求項7または8のいずれかに記載の有機感光体。
- 支持ローラと;
前記支持ローラと連結され,前記支持ローラに連動する有機感光体と;
を備え,
前記有機感光体は,導電性支持体と;前記導電性支持体上に形成された感光層と;請求項1,2,3,4,5または6のいずれかに記載のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物を前記感光層上にコーティングして乾燥させることにより形成されたオーバーコート層と;を含むことを特徴とする,電子写真画像形成装置。 - 前記オーバーコート層の厚さは,0.01〜5μmであることを特徴とする,請求項11に記載の電子写真画像形成装置。
- 前記感光層は,電荷発生物質と電荷輸送物質とを含む単層構造を有することを特徴とする,請求項11または12のいずれかに記載の電子写真画像形成装置。
- 前記感光層は,電荷発生物質を含む電荷発生層と,電荷輸送物質を含む電荷輸送層とからなる2層構造を有することを特徴とする,請求項11または12のいずれかに記載の電子写真画像形成装置。
- 導電性支持体と,前記導電性支持体上に形成された感光層と,請求項1,2,3,4,5または6のいずれかに記載のオーバーコート層形成用コーティング組成物を前記感光層上にコーティングして乾燥させることにより形成されたオーバーコート層と,を含む有機感光体と;
前記有機感光体を帯電させる帯電装置と,前記有機感光体上に形成された静電潜像を現像する現像装置と,前記有機感光体の表面をクリーニングするクリーニング装置とからなる群から選択された少なくともいずれかの装置と;
を備え,
電子写真画像形成装置に着脱可能であることを特徴とする,電子写真カートリッジ。 - 電子写真画像形成装置に着脱可能なドラムと,前記ドラム上に配設された有機感光体とを備えた電子写真ドラムであって;
前記有機感光体は,
導電性支持体と;
前記導電性支持体上に形成された感光層と;
