τ=Pf {ψm Iq +(Ld −Lq )Id Iq } …(1)
【0009】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a control device for a permanent magnet synchronous motor, and more particularly to a flux-weakening operation control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 7 shows a conventional example of a permanent magnet synchronous motor control device.
This circuit includes a
[0003]
The control device is configured as follows.
Here, in the rotating coordinate system that rotates in synchronization with the magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet on the rotor, the dq coordinate is defined with the magnetic flux direction as the d axis and the direction orthogonal thereto as the q axis, and the current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor Three-phase / two-phase (3/2)

The operation will be described.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the induced voltage by the permanent magnet increases in proportion to the rotation speed. For this reason, at high speeds, the induced voltage may exceed the maximum voltage that can be output by a power converter such as an inverter and may become uncontrollable. Also, in applications such as electric vehicles that require constant output characteristics, it is effective to reduce the capacity of the power converter by performing weak flux control using armature reaction magnetic flux. In addition to being obtained, the induced voltage can be made lower than the voltage that the inverter can output. Specifically, the flux-weakening control is performed by passing a current that generates a magnetomotive force in the opposite direction to the magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet, that is, a negative d-axis current.
[0006]
FIG. 8 shows an example of a voltage vector during the flux weakening control. In the figure, the solid semicircle indicates the locus of the maximum voltage that can be output from the inverter, the dotted semicircle indicates the locus of the output voltage when there is a control voltage margin, V and V ′ are the voltage vectors in each case, I and I ′ indicate current vectors in each case.
When the induced voltage of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is higher than the output voltage of the inverter, a flux weakening control is performed to compensate for the difference voltage by passing a negative d-axis current and utilizing the armature reaction.
[0007]
However, in the conventional example shown in FIG. 7, a voltage margin is required between the upper limit of the induced voltage and the maximum voltage that can be output by the inverter. This is because if the induced voltage exceeds the maximum voltage even slightly, a desired torque cannot be obtained, and in the worst case, the control system becomes unstable and becomes uncontrollable. For this reason, the voltage margin may be about 10% of the maximum voltage of the inverter, but this reduces the voltage that can be output. This causes a problem that a large and expensive inverter is required, or a larger d-axis current flows, and the motor becomes large and expensive.
[0008]
In order to solve the above problem, for example, a method as shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-47100 has been proposed (also referred to as a proposed method). According to this method, the inverter output voltage at medium / high speed can be set to the maximum voltage that can be output by the inverter. Therefore, the voltage margin as described above is not required, and the inverter and the motor can be miniaturized correspondingly. However, this method can be applied only to a specific permanent magnet synchronous motor. The reason is shown below. By the way, the torque τ of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is expressed by the following equation (1), where P f is the number of pole pairs, ψ m is the magnetic flux, L d and L q are the d-axis and q-axis inductances.
τ = P f {ψ m I q + (L d −L q ) I d I q } (1)
[0009]
As for the structure of the rotor of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, a surface magnet structure in which a magnet is attached to the rotor surface and an embedded magnet structure in which a magnet is attached inside the rotor are common. In the former, the d-axis inductance and the q-axis inductance expressed in the dq orthogonal coordinate system are equal, but in the latter, the q-axis inductance has a saliency that is larger than the d-axis inductance. For this reason, in the former case, the torque is independent of the d-axis current and is proportional to the q-axis current. In the latter case, the torque is a function of both the d-axis current and the q-axis current. In other words, the proposed method targets the former electric motor, and there is a problem that a desired torque cannot be obtained when applied to an electric motor having saliency like the latter.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to obtain a desired torque regardless of the structure of the rotor of the permanent magnet synchronous motor.
[0010]

In order to solve such a problem, in the invention of

In the first or second aspect of the present invention, a voltage source inverter is used as the power converter, and when the voltage magnitude command value is not limited by the voltage limiting means, the voltage source inverter performs pulse width control, thereby limiting the voltage. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a first embodiment of the present invention.
The difference from the conventional example shown in FIG. 7 is that a
With such a configuration, when the voltage magnitude command value output from the polar coordinate
[0015]
That is, as described with reference to FIG. 8, it is necessary to always flow a negative d-axis current during the flux-weakening control. However, by increasing the voltage that can be output from the inverter, the difference between the induced voltage and the inverter output voltage is reduced. The d-axis current is reduced accordingly. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, than 'd-axis current component I d' of the current vector I when there is a voltage margin on the control, the direction of d-axis current component I d of the current vector I becomes smaller Yes.
Further, the relationship between the torque and the load angle when the flux-weakening control is performed and the output voltage V is constant is, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, when the load angle is in the range of 0 to 90 degrees, the torque is the load angle. Therefore, the torque can be stably controlled under the condition that the output voltage is constant by adopting a configuration in which the load angle is adjusted so as to eliminate the deviation of the torque calculation value with respect to the torque command value. Note that when a device such as a torque meter is used to detect torque, the applicable range may be limited due to the cost or the like, and therefore, the following is performed.
[0016]
The first method for obtaining the torque by calculation is a method for obtaining the d-axis and q-axis current detection values by substituting them into the above equation (1).
In the second method, the d-axis and q-axis voltages are obtained by the following equation (2), and the output P is obtained from the d-axis and q-axis voltages and currents by the following equation (2). This is a method of obtaining and dividing this by the rotational speed ω as shown in the following equation (4) expressed as the following equation (3).

That is, in order to control the torque under the condition that the output voltage is constant, a square wave voltage that is the maximum fundamental wave voltage of the inverter is used. FIG. 5 shows an example of the voltage waveform between the square wave voltage and the PWM method. FIG. 4A shows an example of a square wave voltage, and FIG. 4B shows an example of a PWM voltage.
That is, assuming that the output voltage of the converter is Ed, the line wave fundamental wave voltage V l1 of the square wave voltage is expressed by the following equation (5) expressed as the following equation (4). On the other hand, the line-to-line fundamental wave voltage V p1 (modulation factor = 1) of the sine wave and triangular wave comparison PWM method, which is a commonly used PWM method, is expressed by the following equation (6).

[Equation 5]
That is, the line fundamental wave voltage of the square wave voltage is 27% higher than the line fundamental wave voltage of the PWM system, and this voltage increase can reduce the current for obtaining the same torque or output, thereby reducing the size of the device. Can be realized. Further, by using the square wave voltage, switching loss due to a decrease in the number of switching operations can be reduced, and the efficiency of the device can be increased.

【The invention's effect】
According to the first or second aspect of the present invention, when the permanent magnet synchronous motor is weakened and flux-controlled, the second load angle command value or the first load angle command value is corrected instead of the first load angle command value. By using the sum of the values, it becomes possible to control the torque under the condition that the output voltage is constant, and there is an advantage that the voltage margin that has been conventionally required can be made unnecessary. As a result, the output voltage increases, the d-axis current component necessary for the flux-weakening control decreases, and the device can be reduced in size and cost when the same torque or output is obtained.
According to a third aspect of the invention, in the first or second aspect of the invention, by using a square wave voltage that is the maximum fundamental wave voltage of the inverter, the output voltage is increased as compared with the PWM method, and the d-axis current required for the flux-weakening control is increased. When the components are reduced and the same torque or output is obtained, it is possible not only to reduce the size and cost of the device, but also to reduce the switching loss and increase the device efficiency.
