NaOH+CO2 → NaHCO3……………………………(15)
NaOH+HCl → NaCl+H2O………………………(16)
NaOH+HF → NaF+H2O…………………………(17)
【0040】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for decomposing difficult-to-decompose substances such as environmental pollutants, and in particular, environmental pollutants such as Freon gas, polyethylene, plastic, organic compounds having a benzene nucleus and other industrial waste.Oxygen and water, or air and water, or water overheatingThe present invention relates to a treatment method and an apparatus for decomposition by oxidative decomposition, hydrolytic decomposition, hydrolysis and a combination thereof by reacting in a steam atmosphere.
[0002]
[Prior art]
It has been pointed out that chlorofluorocarbon gas, which has been used as a refrigerant or spray agent, and halon gas, which has been used as a digestion agent, are environmental pollutants. Various coping measures have been proposed. For example, hydrothermal reaction methods, incineration methods, explosion reaction decomposition methods, microbial decomposition methods, ultrasonic decomposition methods, plasma reaction methods, and the like have been proposed for chlorofluorocarbon gas treatment methods.
[0003]
Among these treatment methods, the hydrothermal reaction method is not limited to chlorofluorocarbons, but is versatile for all degradable substances mainly composed of organic solvents such as trichlene, waste oil, dioxin, PCB, manure, etc. It is attracting attention as a certain processing method. In this hydrothermal reaction method, for example, Freon gas can be decomposed into safe substances such as sodium chloride and carbon dioxide.
[0004]
Regarding equipment for realizing the hydrothermal reaction method, processing experiments using an autoclave in the laboratory, for example, the mixing ratio of caustic soda solution, ethanol, chlorofluorocarbon solution, temperature setting value, pressure setting value and reaction time setting Experiments on values have been conducted, but the normal hydrothermal reaction is 100 to 250 kg / cm at 300 to 450 ° C.2) Under the high temperature and high pressure conditions.
[0005]
According to Japanese Patent Application No. 8-155993, the applicant of the present application previously decomposes a hardly decomposed substance by thermal decomposition, hydrolysis, reduction reaction, oxidation reaction, and a combination thereof by reacting in a superheated steam atmosphere. Proposal on treatment method and equipment of environmental pollutants was made. The contents will be briefly described based on the flow of the chlorofluorocarbon treatment system shown in FIG. 2. [Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the decomposition means using the hydrothermal reaction must maintain the high-temperature and high-pressure conditions in the reactor, so that the structure of the reactor and the pressure regulating valve becomes complicated and mechanical strength, for example, tensile It is difficult to design to withstand stress and thermal stress, and there is a problem that the material to be used is limited. In addition, the mechanism for pumping and discharging the solid-liquid mixture under high temperature and high pressure is complicated, and it is necessary to change the structure depending on the type of substance to be decomposed. A piping damage accident may occur during operation due to high pressure, and there are still difficulties from the viewpoint of ensuring safety.
[0013]
Japanese Patent Application No. 8-155993 and Japanese Patent Application No. 8-340560 which were previously proposed are those in which pyrolysis, hydrolysis, reduction reaction, oxidation reaction and these are carried out by reacting a hardly decomposed substance in an atmosphere of superheated steam. Although it is effective in that it can be decomposed by a combination, there remains a need for improvement as described below. For example, the reaction form is not uniform, it is unknown which reaction occurs, and the reaction time is accelerated and decomposition is possible at low temperature by using iron or carbon steel as a reaction aid. There is a problem that flammable gases having explosive properties such as toxic gases such as hydrogen gas and metacan gas are generated, FeCl2, FeF2Etc. are generated and deposited in the reactor, causing clogging of the piping, and further, the reaction is started in the evaporator by heating the fluorocarbon after mixing with water in the evaporator. The problem is that the pipes leading to the corrosion corrode. In particular, carbon monoxide has an emission standard of 100 ppm or less and is defined by UNEP, and cannot be directly released into the atmosphere.
[0014]
Therefore, the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems in a system that decomposes environmentally hazardous substances such as Freon gas, polyethylene, plastic, wood, organic compounds having a benzene nucleus and other industrially degradable substances such as industrial waste, A method and apparatus for decomposing a difficult-to-decompose substance that does not generate toxic gas or explosive flammable gas and that does not cause clogging or corrosion due to uniform reaction form and no reaction aid. Is intended to provide.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is used together with a material to be decomposed.Oxygen and water, or air and water, or water onlyAnd passing through a normal pressure reactor heated to a predetermined temperature after a predetermined reaction time, so that any one of the three decomposition principles of oxidative decomposition, hydrolytic decomposition, and hydrolysis or Decomposes difficult-to-decompose substances based on these combinationsAnd thenBy supplying air from the middle of the reactor, the oxidation reaction is promoted by oxygen in the supplied air, and the reactor is cooled by nitrogen in the supplied air.The basic means is the method and apparatus for decomposing difficult-to-decompose substances.
[0017]
According to such a decomposition treatment method and apparatus, refractory substances such as chlorofluorocarbons or organic compounds having a benzene nucleus and other industrial waste,Oxygen and water, or air and water, or water onlyBy passing through the reactor in which only the temperature has risen at normal pressure and the predetermined reaction time has passed.,waterThe hardly decomposable substance is decomposed by any of the form hydrolyzed by superheated steam, the form of oxidative decomposition by oxygen in the air, and the form of hydrolytic decomposition by addition of water and oxygen in the air. Thereafter, the vapor that has been decomposed is either dissipated as a detoxified gas or liquefied and discharged.
[0018]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Specific embodiments of a method for decomposing a hardly decomposable substance and its apparatus according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As a result of various inventor's experiments, the inventor of the present application, together with a decomposing treatment product such as chlorofluorocarbon in the reactorOxygen and water, or air and water, or water onlyIt has been found that a hardly decomposable substance can be decomposed based on any one of the three decomposition principles of oxidative decomposition, hydrolytic decomposition, and hydrolysis, or a combination thereof. During the reaction, when water is added without maintaining the inside of the reactor at a high pressure, by maintaining the atmosphere of superheated steam, the decomposition target in the superheated steam can be decomposed and toxic gas or flammable No gas is generated. Specific embodiments will be described below.
[0019]
Note that either oxygen or air may be used. However, if air is used instead of oxygen, nitrogen is supplied four times as much as the required amount of oxygen simultaneously with oxygen, increasing the amount of gas. However, there is a cooling effect of the reactor. In the oxidative decomposition, heat of oxidation is generated, and this heat of oxidation raises the temperature in the reactor. However, a very high temperature rise in the reactor is not preferable from the viewpoint of safety of the apparatus. Thus, the overall temperature in the reactor can be lowered by the presence of nitrogen that is not involved in the reaction at all.
[0020]
In the present invention, a hardly decomposable substance including an environmental pollutant such as chlorofluorocarbon gas is decomposed at normal pressure, and the target hardly decomposed substance is an organic compound that is stable, but there is no particular limitation. , Organic solvents such as chlorofluorocarbon, trichrene, waste oil, dioxin, PCB, industrial waste such as manure, wood, paper, rubber, etc., and the state is not particularly limited regardless of whether it is solid, liquid, or gas. In addition, it is mainly useful for organic compounds, but is difficult or harmful after treatment, such as chlorobenzene, chlorofluorocarbon (halogen carbon compounds), dioxins in question, or useful for organic compounds. However, it is extremely stable and not harmful but difficult to process, for example, PE, plastic, rubber and the like.
[0021]
These are often made from petroleum, and can be used as fuel because they can be almost oiled when decomposed, or the purpose is to decompose them so that they can be recycled. In the case of rubber, the purpose is to detoxify the organic compound or to decompose it so that it can be recycled. Furthermore, the decomposition of paper, wood and the like is to decompose cellulose into glucose, and the purpose is to convert one having little utility value into a useful one.
[0022]
According to the present invention, it is possible to open a benzene ring, and the benzene to be decomposed by the present invention is a basic compound of an aromatic hydrocarbon, and C6H6Monochlorobenzene is C6HFiveIt is represented by Cl. Examples of organic compounds having a benzene nucleus include phenols. These phenols are a general term for organic compounds in which an OH group is bonded to a benzene nucleus.6HFiveExpressed as OH. In addition, according to the present invention, dioxins, PCBs and the like having a benzene ring as a skeleton structure can be decomposed and rendered harmless.

The inside of the reactor 47 is not pressurized and is at a normal pressure with the discharge port opened. In other words, the pressure of the piping on the inlet side is a pressure gradient with only pressure loss due to the pipeline. As described above, it is one of the features of the present invention that the reactor 47 can decompose the material to be decomposed by using an open type apparatus that does not forcibly pressurize unlike the conventional high pressure hydrothermal reaction apparatus. . In the reactor 47, a slight pressure is naturally generated by the superheated steam, and a to-be-decomposed material is transferred as a pressure gradient. In the present invention, the normal pressure means that the outlet is opened without forcibly pressurizing to a high pressure as in the conventional hydrothermal reactor.
[0027]
The operation mode of this embodiment will be described. First, taking the case of decomposing chlorofluorocarbon gas, which is an environmental pollutant, by hydrolytic decomposition, for example, chlorofluorocarbon is introduced into the decomposition target tank 41, and the air compressor 43 and the

Depending on the material to be decomposed, superheated steam at around 300 ° C. may be used, and the temperature is set to an appropriate temperature according to the material to be decomposed. There is no limitation. A predetermined reaction time elapses while the superheated steam passes through the reactor 47, and the material to be decomposed in the superheated steam is decomposed and fed into the next-

[0034]
When the substance to be decomposed is CFC-12,waterBy adding only and reacting, hydrolysis of the following formula (1) proceeds.
CCl2F2+ 2H2O → CO2+ 2HCl + 2HF ……………… (1)
[0035]
Similarly, the hydrolysis of CFC-22 is carried out by the following formulas (2) to (4).
CHClF2+ 2H2O → CO2+ HCl + 2HF + H2…………… (2)
CHClF2+ H2O → HCl + 2HF + CO ………………… (3)
4CHClF2+ 6H2O → 3CO2+ 8HF + 4HCl + CHFour... (4)
(2) According to equations (3) and (4), H2Gas, CO gas, CHFourThere is a problem of generating harmful or flammable gas called gas. Then, when air or oxygen is added together with water to cause hydrolytic decomposition, the following equation (5) proceeds.
CHClF2+ 2H2O + O2 → 2CO2+ 2HCl + 4HF (5)
Therefore, carbon monoxide CO
2CO + O2= 2CO2
And hydrogen gas H2Is
2H2+ O2= 2H2O
Methane gas CHFourIs
CHFour+ 3O2= CO2+ 2H2O
It becomes. Therefore, the harmful or flammable gas is rendered harmless as carbon dioxide or converted into moisture, resulting in the result shown in equation (5).
[0036]
Hydrolysis of Freon CFC-134a is performed by the following formulas (6) to (8).
C2H2FFour+ 2H2O → 4HF + 2CO + 2H2……………………… (6)
C2H2FFour+ 4H2O → 4HF + 2CO2+ 3H2 …………………… (7)
C2H2FFour+ 3H2O → 4HF + CO + 2H2+ CO2 ……………… (8)
(6) Even in the case of (7) and (8), H2Although harmful or flammable gases such as gas and CO gas are generated, when air or oxygen is added to react with water, the above equation (5) proceeds and hydrolytic decomposition is performed.
[0037]
Hydrocarbon CFC-141b is hydrolyzed by the following formulas (9) to (10).
C2HThreeCl2F + 2H2O → 2CO + HF + 2HCl + 2H2......... (9)
C2HThreeCl2F + 4H2O → 2CO2+ HF + 2HCl + 4H2...... (10)
(9) The formula (10) is carbon monoxide, H2Since gas is generated, it is not suitable. Therefore, when air or oxygen is added to react with water, the following formulas (11) and (12) advance, and hydrolytic decomposition is performed.
In this case, when water and oxygen are added, CO, H as shown in equations (11) and (12)2Is unsuitable. In this case, the following equations (13) and (14) proceed in the case of oxidative decomposition with only oxygen added.
C2HThreeCl2F + 2O2 → 2CO2+ 2HCl + HF (13)
C2HThreeCl2F + O2 → 2CO + 2HCl + HF (14)
In this case as well, CO gas is generated as shown in the equation (14). However, since the equation (13) is preferentially generated in an oxygen-excess state, an atmosphere in which oxygen is sufficiently excessive is created. Regardless of the decomposition of any process, it becomes possible to finally satisfy the equation (13). When only oxygen is added, oxidative decomposition proceeds, but an unexpected by-product may be formed. Therefore, the presence of superheated steam generated by adding an appropriate amount of water is important. Therefore, hydrolytic decomposition is the most suitable decomposition method.
[0038]
When CFC gas was used as the decomposition target, the following products were confirmed. First, the gas is CO2, H2, HCl, HF, CO (a trace amount). After incineration, HCl and HF dissolve in water and become strong acids.
[0039]
As shown in the following equation (15), caustic soda NaOH is added according to the concentration of chlorofluorocarbon, and carbon dioxide gas is converted into sodium bicarbonate NaHCO 3.ThreeIn some cases, sodium chloride is generated by the reaction of caustic soda and hydrochloric acid as in the equation (16), and sodium fluoride NaF is generated in the reaction of the caustic soda and hydrofluoric acid as in the equation (17). . When neutralizing the strongly acidic liquid after liquefaction with NaOH, the equations (16) and (17) must be2Therefore, a method in which the equation (15) also occurs and carbon dioxide gas is not released becomes possible.
NaOH + CO2 → NaHCOThree…………………………… (15)
NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H2O ………………………… (16)
NaOH + HF → NaF + H2O ………………………… (17)
[0040]
The embodiment described above is for decomposing a fluid or gaseous object to be decomposed, and in addition to chlorofluorocarbon, trichloroethane and other halogenated carbon compounds as an environmental pollutant are decomposed. Is possible. Trichloroethane (CH) according to this embodimentThree・ CClThree) And chlorobenzene (C6HFiveThe decomposition reaction of Cl) will be described.
[0041]
First, trichloroethane (CH3・ CCl3), The reaction proceeds as follows:. waterHydrolysis using
CH3・ CCl3+ H2O → 3HCl + CO + C + H2 ............ (18)
CH3・ CCl3+ 2H2O → 3HCl + CO2+ C + 2H2...... (19)
It becomes. By the hydrogen produced by the presence of superheated steam,
A substitution reaction with hydrogen is observed, and
Decomposition proceeds and is released as methane gas,
CH4 → C + 2H2 ………………………………………………… (22)
It may become. So finally the CO2, CO, H2, C, HCl.
[0042]
Next, chlorobenzene (C6HFiveIn the case of decomposing Cl), hydrolysis proceeds as follows.
C6HFiveCl + H2O → C6HFiveOH + HCl ……………………… (23)
The decomposition by hydrogen produced by the presence of superheated steam is
C6HFiveCl + H2 → C6H6+ HCl ……………………………… (24)
Benzene and hydrochloric acid are produced, and further H is added,
C6H6+ 3H2 → C6H12 ………………………………………… (25)
And cyclohexane (C6H12) Is generated, and the ring is further opened and decomposed into methane, ethane and the like.
C6H12+ 6H2 → 6CHFour………………………………………… (26)
This methane is
CHFour → C + 2H2 ………………………………………………… (27)
It is decomposed into C (graphite), hydrochloric acid and hydrogen.
[0043]
(18) to (27)2By adding CO → CO2And H2→ H2O, C → CO2And CHFour→ CO2+ H2O and all CO2, H2Decomposed into harmless O. Of course, when HCl, HF, etc. are neutralized with NaOH, NaCl, NaF and H2Become O. Therefore, by looking at the form of the reaction, it can be completely detoxified by selecting one of hydrolysis, hydrolytic degradation, and oxidative degradation as the main reaction.
[0044]
【The invention's effect】
As explained in detail above, according to the present invention, refractory substances such as chlorofluorocarbons, organic compounds and other industrial wastes,Oxygen and water, or air and water, or water onlyTo perform a predetermined reaction in the reactor, waterThe hardly decomposable substance can be decomposed by any of a form hydrolyzed by superheated steam, a form of oxidative decomposition by oxygen in the air, and a form of hydrolysis by addition of water and oxygen in the air. In particular, the present inventionBecause it uses three decomposition principles: oxidative degradation, hydrolytic degradation, and hydrolysis,There is no need to maintain the reactor at a high temperature and high pressure as in the case of a decomposition method using hydrothermal reaction.TheFurther, there is an advantage that a reactor and other pressure regulating valves are not required and operational control is easy.
[0045]
Moreover, the reaction form is uniform, and three kinds of decomposition forms of oxidative decomposition, hydro-oxidative decomposition, and hydrolysis are obvious, and since reaction aids such as iron and carbon steel are not used, carbon monoxide or the like An explosive combustible gas such as a toxic gas or hydrogen gas is not generated or can be immediately rendered harmless even if generated. Further, it is possible to prevent clogging of the piping due to clogging of the piping due to the reaction product or the start of the reaction in the piping on the way.
[0046]
By cooling the gas component after the decomposition, it can be liquefied and discharged. In particular, since heating under normal pressure is the main process, a high-pressure pump is unnecessary, and there is no concern that the discharge valve or piping will be damaged. Furthermore, since all the reactions are closed systems that take place in the reactor, the effect is obtained that there is no secondary contamination.
[0047]
In particular, the conventionally known method of decomposing an organic compound in the presence of a catalyst in superheated steam and air atmosphere has a problem in that the catalyst is deteriorated due to oxidation or the like. Since no catalyst is used, the above-mentioned problem does not occur, and it can be applied not only to chlorofluorocarbons but also to other industrial wastes and organic substances having a benzene nucleus.
[0048]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the process proceeds at a low pressure, the material can be arbitrarily selected as long as it can withstand a predetermined high temperature, and it is designed to withstand mechanical strength and tensile stress or thermal stress. There is an advantage that it is not required, and it is easy to take measures against damage to various devices, and also to easily automate the device itself.
