Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an observation apparatus and an imaging apparatus for jewelry such as diamond, and more particularly to an observation apparatus and an imaging apparatus for easily determining whether a jewelry is cut or not.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The value of jewelry is evaluated by four elements: carat, color, clarity, and cut. In particular, cuts (proportions) are regarded as important, but it is difficult to evaluate them unless they are experts with advanced skills.
[0003]
Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-103268 discloses an instrument that makes it possible to judge whether a cut is good or bad even if it is not an expert. This instrument includes a non-translucent lower tube portion on which diamond is placed and a translucent upper tube portion. Thereby, the diamond is irradiated with light from a certain angle range above the diamond. When observing from the lens directly above in this state, the irradiated light is reflected or refracted on a specific surface of the diamond and enters the observer's eyes, so that a certain pattern is observed. If the diamond is cut well, this pattern will appear regularly and symmetrically. By evaluating the symmetry and regularity of this pattern, even an amateur can easily determine the quality of diamond shine.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the instrument described in the above Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-103268 is effective for determining the proportion of a specific surface of a cut, but it is not possible to determine the proportion of a portion other than the specific surface. It was difficult. That is, in the conventional instrument, since the incident direction of light is limited, only reflected light or refracted light on a specific surface can be observed. Even if reflected light or refracted light from another surface enters the eyes of the observer, it is difficult to recognize the difference between the reflective surface or the refracted surface because the color of the light source is one.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide a jewelry observation apparatus that can evaluate the quality of a cut from various directions without complicating the configuration.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an observation apparatus according to the present invention includes a table on which jewelry is placed, a magnifier capable of observing the jewelry placed on the table, the magnifier, and a jewelry placed on the table. It is on a straight line connecting the illuminator having a center on a straight line to be connected and arranged on the circumference of a circle included in a plane perpendicular to the straight line, and the jewelry placed on the table. And arranged on the circumference of a circle having a center at a position different from the center of the light emitter and included in a plane perpendicular to the straight line, and reflects or transmits part of the light from the light emitter. The first light irradiating unit capable of irradiating the jewelry with the reflected light or transmitted light and the straight line connecting the magnifying glass and the jewelry placed on the table are shielded from the light emitter. It is possible to reflect a part of the light and irradiate the jewelry that is placed on the table with the reflected light. A second light irradiating unit having a product, and the second light irradiating unit is capable of irradiating the jewelry with light having a color different from that of the light irradiated by the first light irradiating unit. It is possible to transmit the reflected light from the jewelry.
[0007]
In the observation apparatus, it is more preferable that the first light irradiation unit is a reflection plate or a transmission plate having a color different from that of the second light irradiation unit .
In the observation apparatus, the second light irradiation unit is preferably a glass plate.
[0008]
More preferably, the observation apparatus further includes a non-translucent cylinder that covers the periphery of the jewelry placed on the table and has an open upper end.
[0009]
An imaging device of the present invention includes the above-described observation device, and a camera attached to the magnifying glass provided in the observation device so as to be able to take an observation image by the magnifying glass.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0011]
(Configuration of the embodiment)
FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram of an observation apparatus or an imaging apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the observation apparatus of this embodiment includes a table 2 on which jewelry such as diamond is placed, a

(Operation of the embodiment)
FIG. 3 is a copy of a brilliant cut diamond observed with an observation device. FIG. 3 (A) is observed with a conventional observation device, and FIG. 3 (B) is with the observation device of the above embodiment. The same diamond as above was observed. FIG. 3C shows a diamond other than the above observed by the observation apparatus of the above embodiment. The diamond is observed on the table 2 with its table surface facing down. In addition, the great circle of each figure is substantially equivalent to the size of the planar shape of diamond. The presence or absence of a diagonal line or the difference in the direction of the diagonal line in the great circle indicates a difference in observed color.
[0022]
As shown in the figure, in the conventional example of FIG. 3A, eight heart-shaped patterns appear symmetrically, but other patterns do not appear clearly. On the other hand, in the example of FIG. 3 (B), the eight stripes appear clearly in the center of the diamond. In FIG. 3 (B), since the eight stripes are not symmetrical, it can be seen that there is some imbalance in the diamond cut. Although detailed analysis is omitted, the eight stripes are derived from the light from the second light irradiation part, and the asymmetry and irregularity of the eight stripes are the central axis of the pavilion part of the cut. This is considered to be caused by the “deviation” of (Culet).
[0023]
In the example of FIG. 3C in which another diamond was observed with the observation apparatus of the present embodiment, both the heart-shaped pattern and the central eight stripes appeared equally and symmetrically. Therefore, in this embodiment, the quality of the cut can be easily and precisely evaluated by looking at the symmetry and regularity of the eight stripes.
[0024]
According to the present embodiment, the first light irradiation unit and the second light irradiation unit have different colors, so that the heart-shaped pattern and the eight patterns can be clearly displayed in different colors. Can do. In addition, the photograph taken by the photographing device can be made colorful, not a plain solitary photograph, so even when showing the photograph with diamonds to general consumers, the neat beauty of diamonds is even more striking. You can stand up or add a different product image.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a jewelry observation apparatus that can evaluate the quality of cuts from various directions without complicating the configuration.
