Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rivet contact caulking punch for punching a rivet contact into a base material and then caulking and fixing the rivet contact at the tip by suction, and more particularly, to attracting and holding a rivet contact to a rivet contact caulking punch. It is related to the structure to be performed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As this type of conventional rivet contact caulking punch, one disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2-244517 is provided. This rivet contact caulking punch has a recess on the tip surface of the punch body where the head of the rivet contact fits.A suction hole for sucking air is provided in the punch body, and the suction hole communicates with the recess at the center of the recess. is there. When caulking a rivet contact with this rivet contact caulking punch, suck the rivet contact by suction of air from the suction hole so that the head of the rivet contact fits into the recess, and then drive the rivet contact into the base material. The stud contacts are caulked and fixed to the base material.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the case of the above conventional example, the stud contact can be easily and accurately caulked and fixed by driving the stud contact into the base material by sucking and holding the stud contact, but since the suction hole communicates with the center of the concave portion. When fixed by caulking, there is a problem that the end of the suction hole is scratched at the center of the top surface of the head of the stud contact, and the performance as a contact deteriorates.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of the above description, and an object of the present invention is to prevent a top surface of a head of a stud contact from being damaged even when the stud contact is suction-held and caulked and fixed. And
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a stud contact caulking punch A in which a stud contact 1 is sucked and held at a tip by suction, and then the stud contact 1 is driven into a base material and caulked and fixed. A concave portion 3 in which the head portion 1a of the rivet contact 1 is accommodated is formed at the tip of the concave portion, and a suction hole 4 for sucking air is communicated with a peripheral portion in the concave portion 3. The rivet contact caulking punch A sucks and holds the rivet contact 1 by suction of air from the suction hole 4 so that the head 1a fits in the concave portion 3 and drives the rivet contact 1 into the base material in the suction holding state. 1 can be fixed by caulking, but since the end of the suction hole 4 communicates with the peripheral edge in the recess 3, the top surface of the head 1a is not damaged, and the performance as a contact does not deteriorate.
[0006]
It is also preferable that at least one pair of suction holes 4 is provided at a point-symmetrical position about the center position of the concave portion 3. In this case, even if suction is performed from the periphery of the concave portion 3, the stud contact 1 can be suctioned evenly and accurately and stably, and the stud contact 1 can be accurately caulked and fixed.
Further, the depth d of the concave portion 3 is made deeper than the height h of the head portion 1a of the rivet contact 1, and the concave portion 3 of the punch body 2 is opened from the bottom surface of the head 1a in a state where the head 1a of the rivet contact 1 is housed in the concave portion 3. It is also preferable that the peripheral end surface 5 of the outer periphery of the projection is protruded. In this case, when the stud contact 1 is swaged and fixed, the head 1a is hardly deformed so as to be crushed, and the posture of the fixed contact is stabilized.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
First, the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 will be described. The stud contact 1 is formed by integrally providing a head portion 1a and a shaft portion 1b. In this example, the head 1a is a flat head having a flat top surface. The rivet contact caulking punch A is formed by forming a concave portion 3 in the distal end surface of the lower end of the punch body 2 and forming a suction hole 4 communicating with the concave portion 3 in the axial direction of the punch body 2. The recess 3 is recessed in a shape that matches the shape of the head 1a, and the upper bottom surface of the recess 3 excluding the peripheral edge is a contact surface 6 along the flat top surface of the head 1a. A clearance space 7 is provided in the outer periphery of the contact surface 6 in the recess 3. The suction hole 4 is formed in the axial direction of the punch body 2 at a position corresponding to the outer periphery of the concave portion 3, and the end of the suction hole 4 communicates with the escape space 7. In the case of this example, the suction holes 4 are provided at four positions in the circumferential direction at equal intervals. Such a pair of suction holes 4 may be provided at least point-symmetrically about the center position of the concave portion 3. The diameter of the suction hole 4 is about 0.7 to 0.8 mmφ. Also, the depth d of the recess 3 is slightly greater than the height h of the head 1a of the stud contact 1, and the recess 1 of the punch body 2 is located below the bottom of the head 1a with the head 1a housed in the recess 3. The outer peripheral end surface 5 of the outer periphery 3 projects downward by a certain dimension Δd. This Δd is about 0.05 to 0.1 mm.
[0008]
The rivet contact 1 is caulked and fixed with the rivet contact caulking punch A constructed as described above as follows. By sucking air from the suction hole 4, the stud contact 1 is sucked and held so that the head 1 a of the stud contact 1 fits in the recess 3, and the stud contact 1 is swaged from a base material such as a contact plate. The punch A is used to insert the shaft portion 1b of the stud contact 1 into the through hole of the base material, and the shaft portion 1b is crushed and fixed. At this time, since the suction hole 4 communicates with the clearance space 7 on the outer periphery of the contact surface 6, the top surface of the head 1a is not damaged when swaging and fixed, and the performance of the contact is poor. Never be. Also, since the peripheral end surface 5 of the punch body 2 is suction-held and caulked so as to protrude from the bottom surface of the head 1a by a dimension of Δd and fixed by caulking, the head 1a is hardly deformed so as to be crushed, and the posture of the contact point is stabilized. Can be attached to Furthermore, when the stud contact 1 is sucked and held, the stud contact 1 can be stably sucked and held because it is sucked through at least a pair of point-symmetric suction holes 4.
[0009]
FIG. 2 shows another embodiment. In the case of the present example, a rivet contact caulking punch A for caulking and fixing a rivet contact 1 having a round head with a head 1a is shown. In this case, the contact surface 6 on the upper bottom surface of the concave portion 3 is a concave curved surface along the top surface of the spherical surface of the head 1a. The other structure is the same as that of the above-described embodiment, and can be used in the same manner as above to fix the rivet contact 1 by caulking.
[0010]
FIGS. 3 to 5 show a caulking device incorporating the rivet contact caulking punch A constructed as described above. A vertically movable press platen 10 and a die set 11 are disposed so as to face up and down, and a rotary plate 12 is disposed between the press platen 10 and the die set 11. A rotating base 13 is provided on the mold die set 11 so as to protrude upward, and the center of the rotating plate 12 is rotatably mounted on the rotating base 13. A pair of rivet contact caulking punches A are slidably mounted on the turntable 12 up and down so as to be located at 180 ° rotationally symmetric positions. To move upward. On one side of the rotating base 13, a contact positioning tool 14 for positioning the stud contact 1 supplied from the parts feeder is arranged, and on the other side of the rotating base 13, the stud contact 1 is swaged and fixed. The receiving part 15 which receives a base material is provided. In the case of this example, the base material is a hoop material 16 as shown in FIG. 6, and a contact plate 17 is punched on the hoop material 16 at a predetermined pitch. When caulking and fixing, the hoop material 16 is intermittently fed at a predetermined feed pitch so that the contact plate 17 can be sequentially supplied to the receiving portion 15. A holding plate 19 for holding the hoop material 16 is disposed above the receiving portion 15, and the pressing plate 19 is elastically urged to be separated from the receiving portion 15. The press plate 10 is provided with pressing pins 20 for pressing the pressing plate 19 and pressing pins 21 and 22 for pressing the rivet contact caulking punch A via springs. The press board 10 is driven up and down by a press crankshaft. The movement of the press crankshaft is transmitted to the index unit 23 by a timing belt. The rotation of the index unit 23 is transmitted to the connection gear 25 by the timing belt 24, and the rotation is transmitted from the connection gear 25 to the turntable 12 by the gear. That is, the rotary disk 12 is driven to rotate in conjunction with the vertical movement of the press disk 10. The rotary disk 12 is driven to rotate by 180 °.
[0011]
The operation of caulking the rivet contact 1 with the caulking device configured as described above will be described as follows. When the press platen 10 is lowered and the rivet contact caulking punch A is lowered, the rivet contact 1 supplied to the contact positioning tool 14 is sucked at the position of the bottom dead center, and when the press platen 10 is raised, the rivet contact 1 is raised. The rotary disc 12 is lifted to the dead point, and at this position, the turntable 12 is driven to rotate 180 °. Next, when the press board 10 is lowered, the hoop material 16 is pressed by the pressing plate 19 at the position of the bottom dead center, and the rivet contact 1 is caulked and fixed to the contact plate 17 by the rivet contact caulking punch A. Next, the press platen 10 is raised and returned to the top dead center, and the turntable 10 is driven to rotate by 180 °. By repeating this operation sequentially, the rivet contacts 1 are sequentially caulked and fixed to the contact plate 17 of the hoop material 16. In the above description of the operation, the operation of one of the rivet contact caulking punches A has been described. When the rivet contact 1 is sucked by the punch A, the other rivet contact caulking can be caulked and fixed by the punch A, and the suction of the rivet contact 1 and the caulking of the rivet contact 1 can be simultaneously performed in one cycle. I can do it. By caulking and fixing the stud contact 1 as described above, the work can be performed accurately at high speed.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, as described above, a recess for accommodating the head of the rivet contact is formed at the tip of the punch body, and the suction hole for sucking air is communicated with the peripheral portion in the recess, so that air from the suction hole is formed. When the rivet contacts are swaged into the base material while the rivet contacts are sucked and held so that the head fits into the recess by suction, the rivet contacts are caulked and fixed, as in the past, with the suction hole on the top surface of the head It does not damage and does not deteriorate the performance as a contact.
[0013]
In the invention according to claim 2 of the present invention, since at least one pair of suction holes is provided at a point symmetrical position about the center position of the concave portion, even if suction is performed from the peripheral portion of the concave portion, the suction holes are evenly distributed. By sucking, the stud contacts can be stuck accurately and stably, and the stud contacts can be caulked and fixed accurately.
Further, in the invention according to claim 3 of the present invention, the depth of the recess is made deeper than the height of the head of the stud contact, and the punch body is moved from the bottom of the head in a state where the head of the stud contact is housed in the recess. Since the peripheral edge tip surface of the outer periphery of the concave portion protrudes, when the rivet contact is fixed by swaging, the head is hardly deformed so as to be crushed, and the posture of the contact after fixing is stable. .
