Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a winding method for winding a web on which a photographic light-sensitive material has been applied and dried, and is particularly applied when the web material is a film. 2. Description of the Related Art In general, a preferred form of a web wound body as a belt is a state in which the web has a proper winding hardness and has a uniform end face without any deviation. In the case of a winding roll in which a slippage (also referred to as a winding slippage phenomenon) occurs, when the web is unwound in the next step, the web is meandered, and the web is easily wrinkled or broken, which causes trouble. This winding form is affected by the entangled air accompanying the winding of the web, but if there is a large amount of entangled air between the layers of the web of the winding body, the winding hardness is reduced, and the winding body roll is reduced. A deviation (winding deviation phenomenon) occurs on the end face. Therefore, it is necessary to suppress the air entrained in the winding body. However, in the center drive winding system, the winding air is pressed by increasing the winding tension or providing a touch roll to reduce the entrained air. The method of letting it escape from the winding body is usually used. In particular, it is known that the touch roll has an excellent effect of suppressing the amount of air entrained therein and releasing the entrained air. However, in a web coated with a photographic light-sensitive material and dried, increasing the winding tension or applying a large pressure to the web with a touch roll generates stress in the photosensitive layer coated and dried on the web and increases or decreases. You may feel it. Further, when the pressure applied to the winding body increases, the generation of a mold due to the leading end of the web at the start of winding increases, resulting in a problem that the product loss increases. Therefore, the winding of the photosensitive material is
It is often performed without using a touch roll at a relatively low winding tension. Therefore, in the case of a web on which a photographic light-sensitive material is applied and dried, in particular, a film having a high surface smoothness and easily causing a winding deviation due to entrapped air, as shown in FIG. Apply knurling treatment to 2 to 15% of average web thickness
A pressure is applied to this knurling part, and an air layer is intentionally created in the part where the photosensitive layer is applied for the purpose of protecting the photosensitive layer so that a large pressure is not applied during winding. Care has been taken. In other words, at the center in the width direction of the web where the photosensitive layer is applied, relatively more air is trapped than at both ends of the web, and the web is held by the knurling processing sections at both ends to hold the web. The winding that keeps is done. [0004] However, in manufacturing equipment, it is always desirable to increase the speed in order to reduce costs and improve production capacity. However, when the winding speed is increased, the amount of entrained air is inevitably increased, and winding deviation is likely to occur. Driven by the situation,
It has become necessary to install a touch roll which has a great effect on the winding gap. For the touch roll take-up method,
Until now, various proposals (for example, JP-A-5-51154,
62-96051, 62-96052, etc.)
However, these have a uniform distribution of the pressing force applied to the take-up roll of the touch roll or a high central part,
It is intended to push the entrapped air between the web and web layers of the winding body from the center to the ends of the winding body in the width direction, but knurling treatment is applied to both ends of the web to reduce the average thickness of the web. On the other hand, in winding a photographic photosensitive material web having a thickness of about 2% to 10%, a high pressing force is applied to the photosensitive layer in order to extrude the entrained air near the center, and the quality of the wound product is high. If the pressing force is low, a layer of entrained air will be formed in the knurling processing area, and an air pool will be generated in the photosensitive layer area more than necessary to protect the photosensitive layer, and the air pool will be formed at both ends of the winding roll. When trying to escape from the part, the winding body is displaced, resulting in that a good winding shape cannot be obtained. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a web on which a photographic light-sensitive material is applied and dried, particularly a film which has a high surface smoothness and is liable to be unwound due to entrapped air. A knurling process is performed with a width of about 5 mm to 20 mm, and the knurling processing section increases the thickness of about 2% to 15% with respect to the average thickness of the web. An object of the present invention is to provide a winding method for obtaining a good winding shape in a state in which the end faces are neatly aligned without displacement. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a winding method in which a plurality of touch rolls are pressed against a winding shaft of a film-shaped winding body coated with a photographic light-sensitive material and dried. In the first, after pressing the touch roll over the entire width of the winding body, the next touch roll over the range of both ends knurling portion of the winding body first over the entire width of the winding body. This has been achieved by a winding method characterized in that pressing is performed with a pressure of 50% or more higher than the pressed touch roll. The operation of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG.
FIG. 2 is a view showing a winding method according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a view showing a knurling portion of a film for a photographic material, and FIG. 3 is a partially enlarged sectional view showing a state between web layers during winding of the photographic material. It is. First, the first touch roll 3 shown in FIG. 1 does not affect the photosensitive layer 6 (FIG. 3) on which the photosensitive material is applied in the direction of the winding shaft 5 over the entire width of the winding body 1. By pressing with a moderate pressure, the entrapped air accompanying the film 2 is cut to some extent, and the air layer 7 for protecting the photosensitive layer 6 shown in FIG. To At this stage, the pressure of the first touch roll 3 is low, so that the entrained air layer exists between the knurling processing sections 8 at both ends of the winding body. If this state is left as it is, pressure is applied as the film as the web is laminated, and the air layer 7 for protecting the photosensitive layer 6 and the entrapped air layer between the knurling processing section 8 accompany the wound body 1. It will be pushed out from the end, but at that time, a winding deviation will occur. However, in the present invention, the first touch roll 3
And then immediately before the film 2 is laminated by the second touch roll 4, 50
% Or more (preferably 100% or more high pressure) is applied only to the knurling processing sections 8 at both ends of the winding body 1, and the entrained air existing between the knurling processing sections 8 is removed from the end of the winding body 1. Eliminating the extruded air layer as much as possible and winding it up hard to eliminate the occurrence of winding deviation and obtain a good winding shape, and ensure that the photosensitive layer has an appropriate air layer for protection escaping from the end of the winding body 1. Will be kept without. An embodiment according to the present invention was carried out by a touch roll winding apparatus as shown in FIG. 1, but a web having a photosensitive layer coated and dried on a film 2 was driven by a winding shaft 5. At the time of winding, the first touch roll 3 is provided at the web entrance and the wound body 1 is pressed, and then only the knurling processing portions at both ends of the web are pressed by the second touch roll 4 with a stronger pressure than the first touch roll 3. It is also pressed. The web is made of polyethylene terephthalate and has a thickness of 100 μm and a width of 1 μm.
200mm, knurling processing part of both ends 12 ~ 1 thickness
A photosensitive layer having a thickness of 7 μm was applied to a 4 μm film having a width of 12 mm and dried, and the film was wound up for 3000 m. The operating conditions are
The test was performed at a speed of 200 m / min and a winding tension of 25 kg / m while changing the touch roll pressing force conditions. In addition,
It has been confirmed that when a touch roll is not used, a winding deviation occurs. The result is that the pressing of the first touch roll 3 is 1
At 5 kg / m or more, the photosensitive layer is affected, and 10 kg / m
When m exceeds m, the generation of a mold at the web tip in the lower winding of the winding body increased. Therefore, the first touch roll 3 has a weight of 10 kg /
When the pressing force of the second touch roll 4 was changed with the pressing force of m, the winding form was stabilized at 15 kg / m, and
With a pressing force of / m, a better winding shape was obtained. Further, the winding tension was increased to 40 kg / m under the above-mentioned materials and operating conditions to test the pressing condition of the touch roll. In addition, it has been confirmed that even at a winding tension of 40 kg / m, a slight winding deviation occurs, and a winding method using a touch roll is required. As a result, under the condition that the pressing force of the first touch roll 3 was 5 kg / m and the pressing force of the second touch roll 4 was 10 kg / m or more, a favorable winding shape that did not adversely affect the photosensitive layer was obtained. . According to the results obtained by this embodiment, the first
It was found that under the condition that the pressing of the second touch roll 4 was increased by 50% or more than the pressing of the touch roll 3, a good winding shape was obtained. However, in the present embodiment, it is one material condition and operating conditions, and it is expected that the conditions for obtaining a good winding form are different if the material thickness and the winding speed are different.
In the winding of a photographic light-sensitive material, it was confirmed that the present invention can obtain a good winding. The winding method according to the present invention is directed to a winding method in which a plurality of touch rolls are pressed against a winding shaft of a film-shaped winding body coated with a photographic material and dried. First, the touch roll is pressed over the entire width direction of the winding body, and then the area of the both-end knurling portion of the winding body by the next touch roll is 50% higher than the touch roll pressed first.
By the winding method characterized in that the photosensitive material is pressed with an additional pressure, it is possible to obtain a good roll without adversely affecting the photosensitive layer coated with the photosensitive material.
