【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、通信ネットワーク
を用いた教育システム等の対話型オンラインシステムに
おいて用いられ、端末側のユーザから入力される予約状
況等とユーザに提供しうるサービス資源等とを管理する
管理システムに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】近年、パーソナルコンピュータの普及に
伴って、パーソナルコンピュータを購入したユーザがパ
ーソナルコンピュータそのものやアプリケーションプロ
グラムを使いこなせない事例が増加しているという問題
が生じている。そのような問題に対処するために、メー
カ、販売店、ソフトウェアハウス等によってパーソナル
コンピュータ教室が開催されている。そして、ユーザ
は、独学することが困難な場合には、そのようなパーソ
ナルコンピュータ教室に通学する。しかし、一般に、パ
ーソナルコンピュータ教室では、一度に多数の生徒に対
して教育が行われる。従って、各ユーザに対する学習効
果はさほど高くない。また、パーソナルコンピュータ教
室の開催日時や所在地は固定的である。従って、ユーザ
は教室側の都合に合わせて講習を受けなければならず、
ユーザの選択の自由度は高くない。
【０００３】一対一の教育が行われる場合であっても、
ユーザは、教室に出向かなくてはならない。あるいは、
講師がユーザの元に出向く必要がある。従って、そのよ
うな教育は高価なものとなる。
【０００４】通信ネットワークの普及に伴って、オンラ
インで各種教育を行うことが実現されつつある。そのよ
うな教育形態によれば、ユーザは、教室に出向く必要は
ない。また、サービス提供側は、比較的自由な時間にユ
ーザ教育サービスを提供できる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、講義時間の自
由度の高いオンラインによる教育形態では、カリキュラ
ム計画等の管理が難しいという問題がある。特に、教育
規模を大きくすると、ユーザが希望する受講内容および
受講時間と、各講師の専門分野および空き時間とを整合
させることは容易でない。
【０００６】本発明はそのような課題を解消するために
なされたものであって、対話型オンラインシステムにお
いて、端末側の各ユーザから入力される受講予約等の予
約状況と講義内容および講義可能時間等のユーザに提供
しうる各サービス資源とを管理する管理システムを提供
することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明による対話型オン
ラインシステムにおける管理システムは、複数の対話型
のサービス資源から各サービス要求者に適合するサービ
ス資源を割り当てる対話型オンラインシステムに適用さ
れる管理システムであって、各サービス資源の登録を行
う登録管理システムと、各サービス要求者からの予約条
件に適合するサービス資源を、登録管理システムの登録
内容を参照して各サービス要求者に割り当てる予約管理
システムとを備える。
【０００８】管理システムがオンライン教育システムに
適用された場合には、登録管理システムは、例えば、講
義科目、講義日程および講師に関する情報を登録する教
務管理システムを含み、予約管理システムは、例えば、
受講生から講義予約の要求があると教務管理システムの
登録内容をその受講生にオンラインで提供するととも
に、受講生が選択した講義科目、講義日程および講師に
関する情報を管理する受講予約システムを含む。
【０００９】
【発明の実施の形態】図１は、本発明による管理システ
ムが適用される対話型オンラインシステムの一例を示す
システム構成図である。この例は、在宅あるいはサテラ
イトの講師用システム２０またはスクール１内の講師用
システム２０１〜２０４を操作する講師と受講生用シス
テム３０，４０を操作する受講生とが公衆電話網５０ま
たはインターネット６０を介して結ばれた対話型オンラ
イン教育システムである。講師用システム２０，２０１
〜２０４は、例えば、パーソナルコンピュータ２１およ
び付属システム２２で構成される。付属システム２２
は、カメラ、マイクロフォン、スピーカおよびモデムま
たはＤＳＵ等を含む。受講生用システム３０，４０は、
例えば、パーソナルコンピュータ３１および付属システ
ム３２で構成される。付属システム３２は、カメラ、マ
イクロフォン、スピーカおよびモデムまたはＤＳＵ等を
含む。なお、図１には２つの受講生用システム３０，４
０のみが示されているが、各講師用システム２０または
２０１〜２０４に対してさらに多くの受講生用システム
を用意することもできる。受講生用システム３０，４０
は、インターネット６０を介してサーバ１０に接続され
ている。また、講師用システム２０１〜２０４は、ＬＡ
Ｎ７０を介してサーバ１０に接続されている。図１に
は、サーバ１０とインターネット６０間のルータ１１お
よび公衆回線網５０と各講師用システム２０，２０１〜
２０４との間の端子盤１２，２６も示されている。
【００１０】図２は、多数の講義ブースのそれぞれに講
師用システム２０１〜２２０が設置されたスクール（教
室）の一例を示す平面図である。教室には、多数の電話
回線（図示せず）が引き込まれている。一人の講師が最
大６人の受講生を一時に受け持つ場合には、２０×６＝
１２０本の電話回線が引き込まれる。
【００１１】図３は、本発明の管理システムによる受講
予約管理の概要を示す概念図である。サーバ１０に搭載
された受講予約管理システム１００は、日時情報、講師
およびカリキュラムを管理するとともに、課金・請求お
よび受講生・講師データの分析を行うプログラムを含
む。各講師用システム２０，２０１〜２２０に搭載され
た講師登録システム２００は、講師情報の入力および担
当講義の登録を行うプログラムを含む。受講生用システ
ム３０，４０に搭載された受講生テレラーニングシステ
ム（受講生ＴＬシステム）３００は、受講生が受講予約
やクーポン購入を行うために用いられるプログラムを含
む。
【００１２】図４は、教務管理システムの概要を示す概
念図である。サーバ１０に搭載された教務管理システム
１１０は、カリキュラム登録、講義ブース情報、教務日
程および講師条件を管理するプログラムである。
【００１３】次に、対話型オンライン教育システムの動
作について説明する。管理者は、教務日程およびカリキ
ュラムを教務管理システム１１０に入力する。すると、
教務管理システム１１０は、図５（Ａ）に示されるよう
な教務管理計画表を作成する。図５（Ａ）には、７時か
ら８時半までの時間においてWindows95 の入門講座に２
名の講師が割り当てられ、Windows95 の初級講座に１名
の講師が割り当てられたことが示されている。なお、一
講師が同時に６人の受講生を受け持つとすると、７時か
ら８時半までの時間においてWindows95 の入門講座に
は、２×６＝１２人の受講生が存在しうる。また、一太
郎、ＷＯＲＤ、1-2-3 およびＥＸＣＥＬの各講座に、表
示されている数の講師が割り当てられたことが示されて
いる。なお、Windows はマイクロソフト社の登録商標、
一太郎はジャストシステム社の登録商標、1-2-3 はロー
タス社の商標である。
【００１４】講師用システム２０における講義登録シス
テム２００は、講師の操作に応じて、サーバ１０から図
６（Ａ）に示されたような登録ホームページを受信す
る。そして、講師は、講義登録システム２００で自身を
ピーアールするための例えば図６（Ｂ）に示されたよう
なホームページを作成し、それをサーバ１０の教務管理
システム１１０に登録する。
【００１５】管理者は、教務管理システム１１０にあら
かじめ講義ブース情報も入力する。講義ブース情報と
は、各講義ブースに引き込まれた電話回線の電話番号で
ある。入力された講義ブース情報にもとづいて図５
（Ｂ）に示されるようなブース管理表が作成される。教
務管理システム１１０は、各講師から入力された講師情
報を管理する。例えば、図５（Ｃ）に示されるような講
師設定表を作成する。
【００１６】講師は、さらに、図６（Ｃ）に示されたよ
うなページの該当個所をポインティングすることによっ
て自身が受け持ちたい講座を登録する。教務管理システ
ム１１０は、例えば図６（Ｄ）に示すような、講師と日
時、カリキュラムおよび講義ブース番号とを対応づけた
講師講義管理表を作成する。
【００１７】受講生用システム３０，４０における受講
生用ＴＬシステム３００は、受講生の操作に応じて、受
講生用システム３０，４０で、サーバ１０から受講予約
ホームページを受信する。サーバ１０上の受講予約管理
システム１００は、その受講生との契約条件に合致する
形態で教務情報を受講予約ホームページとして受講生に
提供する。図７（Ａ）に示されるように、受講生は、日
時、カリキュラムまたは講師をキーワードとして受講予
約を行うことができる。受講予約にもとづいて、その受
講生の受講生用システムは、図７（Ｂ）に示されるよう
に、受講予約カードを作成する。すなわち、受講予約に
もとづいて教務管理システム２００によって割り当てら
れた日時、カリキュラム、講師およびその講師が使用す
る講師ブースに接続される電話番号をサーバ１０から受
信し、それらが記載された受講予約カードを作成する。
サーバ１０上の教務管理システム２００は、受講予約を
教務情報に反映する。すなわち、教務情報中の予約され
た日時および講師に関する項目を予約済みとする。
【００１８】受講生が、受講生用ＴＬシステム３００を
用いて、日時をキーワードとして受講予約を行った場合
には、受講生には、その日時に割り当てられている空き
講師のプロフィールのページが提供される。そこで、受
講生は講師を選択する。受講生がカリキュラムをキーワ
ードとして受講予約を行った場合には、受講生には、そ
のカリキュラムを担当する空き講師のプロフィールのペ
ージが提供される。そこで、受講生は講師を選択する。
受講生が講師をキーワードとして受講予約を行った場合
には、その講師が担当する日時が明示されたページが提
供され、受講生は受講日時を選択する。
【００１９】受講生用システム３０，４０は、受講日時
が到来すると、受講予約カードに記載されている電話番
号に対して自動発呼する。従って、受講生用システム３
０，４０は、公衆電話網６０を介して該当講師ブース内
の講師用システムに接続される。講師は、講師用システ
ム、公衆電話網６０および受講生用システム３０，４０
を介して受講生に対するオンライン講義を行う。その講
師が同時に複数の受講生に教育を行う場合には、例え
ば、各受講生から送信された画像データは講師用システ
ムのＣＲＴ２３上の各分割画面に同時表示される。ま
た、各受講生から送信された音声データは講師用システ
ムのスピーカ２６から出力される。講師からの音声デー
タおよび画像データは、公衆回線網５０を介して各受講
生の受講生用システムに送信される。
【００２０】講義が終了すると、受講予約管理システム
１００は、１カリキュラム分の課金処理を行う。あらか
じめ受講生から入金されている場合には、あらかじめ図
７（Ｃ）に示すようなオンライン受講クーポンが作成さ
れている。そして、１クーポンが使用済みとされる。受
講生は、オンライン受講クーポンを追加購入することに
よって補習を申し込むこともできる。その場合、受講生
は、サーバ１０から図７（Ｃ）に示すような受講クーポ
ンページを受信し購入操作を行う。サーバ１０上の受講
予約管理システム１００は、その受講生のクーポン残高
を購入クーポン分だけ増加させる。そして、受講生は、
既に説明したような操作によって、補習に関する受講予
約を行う。なお、図７（Ｃ）には、受講生が１２時限分
のクーポンを購入し、既に２時限分が使用された例が示
されている。
【００２１】受講予約管理システム１００は各講師の評
価も行う。適当な時期に、担当講師の全担当受講生数に
対する予約済み受講生数の割合（受講予約率）を算出す
る。また、担当講師の全担当受講生数に対して、受講生
が講師をキーワードとしてその講師に対する２回目以降
の受講予約を行った数の割合（リピート率）を算出す
る。受講予約率およびリピート率は、講師評価の尺度と
して用いられる。例えば、教務管理システム１１０は、
図５（Ｃ）に示されるように講師情報に受講予約率およ
びリピート率を記入する。また、受講予約率およびリピ
ート率にもとづいてその講師の給与を改訂する。
【００２２】以上のように、オンライン教育システムに
おいて、教務管理システム２００が作成した教務情報を
受講予約管理システム１００が各受講生に提供し、各受
講生は提供された教務情報にもとづいて受講予約をオン
ラインで行い、教務管理システム２００が受講生からの
受講予約と教務情報とを突き合わせて講義配分等を行う
ような構成を採用したので、複雑な教務管理が自動的に
実行される。従って、大規模な講座数、多数の講師およ
び多数の受講生からなる教育システムにおいても、容易
に教務管理を行うことができる。
【００２３】なお、ここでは講師用システム２０１〜２
２０が教室に集中配置された形態を例に説明を行った
が、図１に示されるように講師用システム２０を分散配
置してもよい。
【００２４】また、ここではオンライン教育システムを
例に説明したが、本発明による管理システムを、他の対
話型オンラインシステムに適用することもできる。例え
ば、医者の空きスケジュールを端末側に提供し、提供さ
れた空きスケジュールにもとづいて患者が診察予約を行
うようにすれば、本発明による管理システムが適用され
た診察予約システムが構築される。

【発明の効果】以上のように、本発明によれば、大規模
な対話型オンラインシステムにおいて端末側からの情報
と管理者側の情報とを整合させてシステムを運営する場
合に、容易にシステム管理を進めることができる。

  1. 【請求項１】 複数の対話型のサービス資源から各サー
    ビス要求者に適合するサービス資源を割り当てる対話型
    オンラインシステムにおける管理システムにおいて、 各サービス資源の登録を行う登録管理システムと、 前記各サービス要求者からの予約条件に適合するサービ
    ス資源を、前記登録管理システムの登録内容を参照して
    前記各サービス要求者に割り当てる予約管理システムと
    を備え、前記登録管理システムは、講義科目、講義日程および講
    師に関する情報を登録する教務管理システムを含み、 前記予約管理システムは、受講生から講義予約の要求が
    あると前記教務管理システムの登録内容をその受講生に
    オンラインで提供するとともに、受講生が選択した講義
    科目、講義日程および講師に関する情報を管理する受講
    予約システムを含み、 講師が操作する講師用端末は、前記教務管理システムか
    ら講義科目および講義日程に関する情報を受信し、講師
    の指示に応じて講師のプロフィール情報を作成するとと
    もに講師が欲する講義科目および講義日程を入力し、作
    成した講師のプロフィール情報と講師が欲する講義科目
    および講義日程とを講師に関する情報として前記教務管
    理システムに送信する講師登録システムが搭載された こ
    とを特徴とする対話型オンラインシステムにおける管理
    システム。
  2. 【請求項２】 受講生が操作するオンライン端末は、受
    講予約システムからの教務管理システムの登録内容を受
    講生に画像で提供し、受講生が指定した講義科目、講義
    日程および講師に関する情報を前記受講予約システムに
    送信するとともに、予約した講義日時が到来すると自動
    的に講師が操作する講師用端末とオンライン接続する受
    講生用システムが搭載された請求項１記載の対話型オン
    ラインシステムにおける管理システム。
