作成され、一般的には先端が円錐状に作成され、受けロ
ーラとの平坦な接触面を有する円錐柱の物が多い。この
ようなホーンを利用する場合は、ホーンを固定してフイ
ルムを走行させる装置が多い。

る超音波ホーンは、超音波の発生効率に配慮した形状に

ルムを走行させる装置が多い。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】フイルムを走行させな
い方式では、超音波ホーンをシールの長さ分だけ移動さ
せる必要があり、ホーンを移動させるには超音波装置自
体を移動させなければ成らず機構上不利であった。更に
シール強度を保つためには移動速度に限界がありシール
時間が長くなるという問題もある。又、シール長さ以上
のホーンや熱板を利用して一度にシールする方法では、
大きなシール荷重と当たり精度が必要となるし、熱板で
はヒゲが出やすいという問題もあった。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、熱融着性を有
するフイルムを熱シールする装置であって、シール長さ
全長に渡るホーン先端をシール形状に成形され固定され
た超音波ホーンと、同ホーンに対向する複数個の受けロ
ーラとを備え、複数個の受けローラは、各々その幅が同
ホーンのシール形状の幅を有すると共に、同シール形状

チ以上の移動によりシール長全体に渡り移動することを

示す素材から成るフイルム、シートであれば適用可能で
ある。

【0006】シール形状に成形された超音波ホーンと
は、図1に示す超音波ホーン1、図2に示す超音波ホー
ン11のようにシール長さ全長に渡るホーン先端を成形
した物で、断面形状は特に限定されるものでなく、伝達
効率に配慮し先細タイプが好ましい。図1のようにホー
ンの先端が鋭角又は鈍角でも尖った形状にすれば、ロー
ラ面が平坦であっても熱溶断が行われる。シール形状
は、図1のように直線であっても良いし、図2、図3の
ように曲線であっても良い。

けローラはフイルムの幅(シールの長さ)に応じて複数
個設ければ良いが、レバーに軸止されホーンのシール形
状先端に接触して転動する。1個の受けローラが、その
取付ピッチ以上に移動することにより、複数個の受けロ
ーラによりシール形状全長に渡り作用する事になる。接
触圧は摘宜のバネにより付勢され、同ローラの支持ブロ
ックは図示しない駆動機構により、受けローラのホーン
先端への接離移動、復帰(図1矢視イロハニ)を行う。
この時の接触移動とホーンからの発振により超音波シー
ルが行われ、シール幅全長のシールが効率良く可能とな
る。

この時の接触移動とホーンからの発振により超音波シー
ルが行われ、シール幅全長のシールが効率良く可能とな
る。
【0008】図2に示す筒状フイルム10から曲線状の
袋底を有する袋12を作成する場合も、図3に示すシー
ル受けローラ14の幅を曲線11のシール形状の幅を有
するホーン先端13に合わせて設定すれば、図2のよう
な曲線であっても同時シールが可能となり、受けローラ
を複数個設ければ幅の大きなフイルムであっても、又フ
イルム内に物が挿入されていても、その物の形状に合わ
せたシール形状にタイトな溶断シールが可能となる。
袋底を有する袋12を作成する場合も、図3に示すシー
ル受けローラ14の幅を曲線11のシール形状の幅を有
するホーン先端13に合わせて設定すれば、図2のよう
な曲線であっても同時シールが可能となり、受けローラ
を複数個設ければ幅の大きなフイルムであっても、又フ
イルム内に物が挿入されていても、その物の形状に合わ
せたシール形状にタイトな溶断シールが可能となる。

【実施例】図1に示すように、超音波ホーン1は固定台
8に設けられた発振器7の先端に固定される。フイルム
2は送りローラ9によって超音波ホーン1の先端の所定
の位置に2つ折り状に或いは2枚重ねや筒状で送り出さ
れる。

ク6が矢視イの方向に移動し受けローラ3、3、3がフ
イルム2を超音波ホーン1の先端に加圧接触させると、
発振器7が発振すると共に支持ブロック6が矢視ロの方
向に移動するので、ホーン1の先端とローラ3の接点で
超音波シールが順次行われる。移動がローラ3の取付ピ
ッチ以上に行われれば、フイルム2の全幅にシールが完
了するので発振器7の発振を止め、支持ブロック6は矢
視ハの方向に移動する。

視ハの方向に移動する。

【発明の効果】本発明では、付加すべきものは受けロー
ラの支持ブロックを接離移動、復帰させる機構のみであ
るので、装置がコンパクトに成り、組み込みも簡単であ
る。受けローラ個数を増加させることが可能であるか
ら、幅(シール長さ)の大きな物でもシール時間の短縮
が可能となる。

- 【請求項1】 熱融着性を有するフイルムを熱シールす
る装置であって、シール長さ全長に渡るホーン先端をシ
ール形状に成形され固定された超音波ホーンと、同ホー
ンに対向する複数個の受けローラとを備え、複数個の受
けローラは、各々その幅が同ホーンのシール形状の幅を
有すると共に、同シール形状先端にフイルムを介して接
触し、受けローラの取付ピッチ以上の移動によりシール
長全体に渡り移動することを特徴とする超音波シール装
