The power unit is installed at the center lower part of the body frame composed of the down tube and the rear frame, swings freely on the pivot shaft arranged below the engine, and elastically supports via the rear shock absorber A V-belt type continuously variable transmission for transmitting the driving force of the engine to the rear wheel is provided in a V-belt chamber formed in the transmission case, and outside air is introduced into the V-belt chamber at a front side of the transmission case. The V-belt type continuously variable transmission is configured to cool the V-belt continuously variable transmission by providing an article storage chamber below an operation seat. It is covered with a cover, maintenance and the engine such as the engine forward position of the vehicle body cover
In a scooter-type vehicle provided with an opening for inspection and a maintenance lid for opening and closing the opening, an outside air intake port is formed in a concave shape at a lower portion of the maintenance lid,
An intake chamber is disposed on the back side of the outside air intake port, and the intake chamber and the outside air introduction port on the front side of the conduction case are connected by a connection pipe formed of a bendable and expandable material. Since a means for blocking foreign matter in the outside air is provided between the back surface and the intake chamber, the clean outside air is supplied to the V inside the conduction case.
In addition to being able to be introduced into the belt chamber, maintenance and inspection of the engine can be performed without removing the connection pipe from the outside air intake port, and the maintainability of the engine is improved.

As shown by the arrows in FIGS. 8 and 9, dust and moisture in the outside air introduced from the outside air intake port 25 into the outside air introduction chamber 27 a are blocked by the foreign matter blocking plate 31, and only the clean air passes through the communication passage 27 c. The air is guided to the outside air discharge chamber 27b, and from the outside air discharge port 32 to the V-belt chamber 12 in the conduction case 9 through the connection pipe 33. As a result, there is no possibility that each device in the V-belt chamber 12 will be damaged. The foreign matter blocking plate 31
The water that is blocked by the water and accumulated in the intake chamber 27 is discharged from the drain hole 29.

An opening 16 for maintenance and inspection of the engine 8 and the like formed in the rear leg shield 15 is enlarged, so that the maintenance and inspection of the lower surface of the engine 8 which is conventionally difficult to reach is facilitated. Since the floor mat 20 is installed on the step floor 19 of the rear leg shield 15 and on the extension 18 of the maintenance lid 17, the mating surface between the step floor 19 and the extension 18 is hidden, and the appearance is reduced. There is no loss.

Since the connecting pipe 33 for communicating between the connecting pipe 33 and the V-belt chamber 12 in the conductive case 9 is formed in a bellows shape with a material that can be bent and stretched, for example, rubber or the like, it is necessary to remove the connecting pipe 33 when the maintenance lid 17 is removed. Therefore, the maintainability of the engine 8 can be improved. Further, as described above, the power unit 7 swings up and down, and the outside air inlet 1 of the conduction case 9 is rotated.
Although the relative position between the outside air outlet 3 and the outside air outlet 32 of the intake chamber 27 constantly fluctuates, the change in the relative position is absorbed because the connecting pipe 33 is freely bendable.

A power unit integrally extending from one side of the engine and extending rearward and holding a rear wheel at the rear end is installed at the lower center of the body frame consisting of a down tube and a rear frame. Swing freely on a pivot axis located below the engine,
A V-belt type continuously variable transmission that resiliently supports via a rear shock absorber and transmits the driving force of the engine to the rear wheels in a V-belt chamber formed in the transmission case; An outside air inlet for introducing outside air into the V-belt chamber is formed at the front side of the V-belt type continuously variable transmission to cool the V-belt type continuously variable transmission. A scooter-type vehicle, which is provided with a cover for maintenance and inspection of the engine and the like at a position in front of the engine on the vehicle body cover and a maintenance lid for opening and closing the opening so as to be able to open and close. An outside air intake port is formed in a concave shape at a lower portion, and an intake chamber is disposed behind the outside air intake port. Means for shutting off foreign matter in the outside air is provided between the back surface of the outside air suction port and the suction chamber while the connection is made by a connection pipe formed of a bendable and stretchable material. In addition to being able to be introduced into the room, maintenance and inspection of the engine can be performed without removing the connecting pipe from the outside air intake port, and the maintainability of the engine is improved.
