Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation base material and a cultivation floor capable of always maintaining a lightweight state while ensuring a degree of cultivation freedom.
SOLUTION: A plurality of planting base materials each comprising a rod-like hydrophobic core material and a water-retaining sheet body wound around and fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the core material are arranged in close contact with each other. A cultivation bed is formed by stacking a plurality of layers so that the directions of the planting base materials positioned above and below are orthogonal to each other. With this structure, it is possible to secure a relatively high degree of cultivation by cultivating plants between planting base materials, and if the heartwood is formed of a hydrophobic light material, the heartwood will contain moisture during water supply. Because there is no, it can always maintain a light state.

Description

The present invention relates to a planting substrate and a cultivation floor as a substitute for soil used for rooftop greening, indoor greening, and the like.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various planting base materials that have a small specific gravity and are replaced with soil have been proposed for greening the roof of buildings and indoor facilities. The reason for using such a base material is to prevent the roof and floor from being damaged due to the weight if a large amount of soil is used on the rooftop or in the facility. . As such a base material, a material in which a granular material having a smaller specific gravity is mixed with light soil, a sheet body as shown in Patent Document 3 below, or a block body as shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2 below and so on.
By the way, in the case of the method of mixing granular material with lightweight soil, if too much granular material is mixed, the holding power of the plant becomes insufficient, so the specific gravity of about 0.8 is the limit. Moreover, when using a sheet | seat body, in order to ensure the holding | maintenance force of a plant, it becomes necessary to provide the part with the weight which becomes the weight. For this reason, these methods are inevitably heavy. On the other hand, in the case of a block body, if the block is fixed well, it is not necessary to make the whole heavy, and it is most suitable for weight reduction.
JP 2002-129587 A Japanese Patent No. 3593109 JP 2004-154118 A

However, in the case of the method described in Patent Document 2, since the seedling is planted in a planting hole provided in advance on the upper surface of the block, the degree of cultivation freedom is limited. On the other hand, in the method described in Patent Document 1, since a hole is made in a block or a seedling is planted in a gap between the block, a degree of cultivation is ensured, but water is supplied because the block is homogeneous. Then, the whole block will absorb water, and the problem that the whole weight will become large arises.
This invention makes it a subject to provide the base material for plant cultivation and the cultivation floor which can always maintain a lightweight state, ensuring the freedom degree of cultivation in view of such a problem.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has the following configuration.
The invention according to claim 1 is a planting base material comprising a rod-like hydrophobic core material and a water-retaining sheet body that is wound around and fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the core material. In addition, a sheet | seat body contains what was joined in the state in which the edge parts were wound, and is cylindrical. A plurality of planting substrates are arranged in close contact in parallel to fix the planting substrates at both ends to form a cultivation floor, and plants are planted in the gaps between the planting substrates.
The invention described in claim 2 is the planting base material in which the core material is cylindrical.
The invention described in claim 3 is the planting base material in which the core material is formed of a foamed synthetic resin.
The invention according to claim 4 is arranged such that a plurality of the planting substrates are arranged in close contact in parallel, and the layers of the planting substrates positioned above and below intersect at different angles. It is a cultivation floor formed by overlapping.
Invention of Claim 5 is a cultivation floor of Claim 4, and the base material for planting located up and down crosses so that it may mutually orthogonally cross.

Since the device according to claim 1 plants a plant in the gap between planting substrates, the degree of freedom of cultivation can be relatively increased, and the plant is sandwiched and fixed by the planting substrate. Since the planting base material does not require its weight, lighter materials can be used. Furthermore, moisture is not absorbed by the hydrophobic core material, and the moisture is absorbed only by the sheet on the surface of the core material, so that even if water is supplied, the weight does not increase greatly.
The invention according to claim 2 makes the core material in a cylindrical shape, and makes line contact with each other when the planting base materials are arranged in close contact with each other in parallel. The force for planting plants in the gaps between the planting bases is small, and the work efficiency can be improved.
According to the third aspect of the present invention, a light and hydrophobic core material can be easily manufactured by molding by forming the core material from a foamed synthetic resin.
The invention according to claim 4 is that the base materials for planting arranged in parallel are stacked so as to cross each other at different angles, and if water is supplied to one place, water penetrates in two orthogonal directions. The water can be quickly distributed throughout the cultivation floor.
The device according to claim 5 can be efficiently stacked when placed in a rectangular parallelepiped box by arranging the upper and lower planting substrates so as to be orthogonal.

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a planting substrate X according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of the planting substrate X. The planting base X is composed of a rod-shaped core material 10 and a sheet body 20 that covers the side surfaces of the core material. The core material 10 is formed of foamed polypropylene into a cylindrical shape having a diameter of 50 mm and a length of 1 m. Various materials can be adopted as the material of the core material 10 as long as it has a small average specific gravity and is hydrophobic, and may be a foamed synthetic resin other than foamed polypropylene, or a hollow synthetic resin pipe or the like as long as the overall specific gravity is small. Can also be used. Moreover, a magnitude | size etc. can be suitably changed according to a use purpose.
The sheet body 20 is formed of a non-woven fabric having a thickness of 5 mm, and is wound around the outer periphery of the core material 10 to be bonded and fixed. The sheet body 20 may be any sheet as long as it has water retention and absorbs water by capillary action. In addition to the nonwoven fabric, cloth or paper can be employed.

FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the cultivation bed Y using the plant substrate X, and FIG. 4 shows an exploded perspective view of the cultivation bed Y. The cultivation floor Y is formed by stacking the planting equipment X in parallel and arranged in five layers so that the directions of the planting base materials X of the vertically adjacent ones are orthogonal to each other. The laminate is inserted into a holding box 30 having a size that fits to the outer periphery of the side surface. In addition, when there is a gap between the planting base materials X, a hydrophobic block or bag wrapped with a water-retaining sheet may be appropriately packed.

Next, the usage method of the planting floor Y which has the above structures is demonstrated. First, the user installs the cultivation floor Y at a suitable place such as the rooftop. Then, the plurality of plants P are fixed on the cultivation bed Y by inserting and fixing the root portions into the gaps between the plant base materials X. Thereafter, water, liquid fertilizer, and the like are poured into the holding box 30. The poured moisture travels along the surface of the plant base material X and reaches the surface of all plant base materials X. Thereafter, by appropriately supplying water or liquid fertilizer and growing the plant P, greening of the rooftop or the like can be realized.
