Description

【0001】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a structure for shielding a gap formed between a log material at the top of a log house wall and a girder due to drying shrinkage of wood.
[0002]
[Prior art]
[0003]
In a general log house, log logs are dried and shrunk after a certain period of time because there is no pillar in the notch structure where logs are assembled and stacked. For this reason, the wall height is reduced by the amount of the contraction, and no gap is formed between the vertically stacked log materials.
However, in recent years, a log house using a pillar in that part without assembling a notch has been constructed (see Patent Document 1).
[0004]
In such a log house, there was a problem in that a gap due to drying and shrinkage of the wood was generated between the log material at the top of the wall and the girder material as time passed from the time of construction (portion indicated by reference symbol S in FIG. 6). .
When the gap becomes large, not only adversely affects the cooling and heating, but also invasion of insects and leakage of lighting occur.
For this reason, such log houses are often constructed in temporary villas and the like, but are not widely used because they are not suitable for general dwelling units.

[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention provides an architectural structure that can shield a gap between a log material at the top of a wall and a girder caused by drying shrinkage of wood in a log house having pillars while responding to the change in drying shrinkage. It is.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is directed to a log house in which log materials vertically piled up horizontally through a reinforcing bar constitute a wall surrounded by a base, a pillar and a girder, and are parallel to the both sides of the lower surface of the girder of the log house. External shielding plates having a length equal to or greater than the width covering the gap generated by the drying and shrinkage of the log material are hung in a suspended state in the two insertion grooves provided in the above.
The innermost and outer wall surfaces of the uppermost log material are formed in vertical planes so as to be in close contact with the outer shielding plate from the inside.
[0008]
The invention according to claim 2 has a length greater than a width covering a gap generated by drying and shrinking of the log material in a hanging state in both insertion grooves provided parallel to both side surfaces of the lower surface of the girder of the log house. External shielding plates are fitted respectively.
Then, both inner shield plates are attached to the inner and outer wall surfaces of the log material so as to be in close contact with the outer shield plate from inside.
[0009]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the second aspect of the present invention, the opposing dovetail grooves are provided at substantially regular intervals on the opposing surfaces of the inner shield plate and the outer shield plate.
Then, a slide plate with side grooves is fitted into each opposed dovetail groove so that the inner shield plate can move up and down with respect to the outer shield plate.
[0010]
[Embodiment of the invention]
An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below.
The present invention is an improvement of a log house (see FIG. 6 which is a conventional structure) in which log materials 5 vertically stacked through reinforcing bars 4 constitute a wall surrounded by a base 1, pillars 2 and girders 3. It is about. On the wall surface of such a log house, both ends of the stacked log materials 5 are fitted into the vertical grooves 17 provided in the column 2 so that the log materials 5 can move up and down.
In the present invention, the following structure is provided for the peripheral portion of the gap S between the log material 6 at the top of the stacked log materials 5 and the beam material 3.
First, as shown in FIG. 1, in a state of being suspended in both insertion grooves 12, 13 provided in parallel on both sides of the lower surface of the spar 3, a length that is longer than a width covering a gap generated by drying and shrinking of the log material is set. The external shielding plates 7, 7 are fitted respectively. The external shielding plates 7 are fixed to the beam 3 with an adhesive or nails 14.
[0011]
The inner and outer wall surfaces are formed on the vertical plane 6a so that the uppermost log member 6 is in close contact with the outer shield plate from the inside from the inside. The gap S is covered and covered by closely contacting the vertical surface 6a of the wall surface portion.
[0012]
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the invention according to the second aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the log material is dried in a state where it is hung in both insertion grooves 12 and 13 provided in parallel to both sides of the lower surface of the girder 3 of the log house. External shielding plates 7, 7 each having a length equal to or greater than the width covering the gap caused by shrinkage are fitted respectively, and the innermost and outer wall surfaces of the uppermost log member 6 are brought into close contact with the external shielding plate from the inside. The two internal shielding plates 8, 8 are fixed with nails 15.
Although there is a log material to be used, such as a log, FIG. 2 shows an embodiment in which an L-shaped log material 5 is used. In this embodiment, both sides of the log member 5 are made vertical.
[0013]
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the device according to the third aspect of the present invention opens the one that was in close contact with the outer shielding plates 7, 7 or the inner shielding plates 8, 8 due to warpage due to drying shrinkage. When the external shielding plates 7, 7 and the internal shielding plates 8, 8 are brought into close contact with each other, a substantially regular interval is provided vertically between the opposing surfaces of the internal shielding plates 8 and the external shielding plates 7. The opposing dovetail grooves 10 and 11 are provided, and the slide plate 9 with the side grooves 9a and 9b is fitted into the opposing dovetail grooves 10 and 11 so that the inner shield plate 8 and the outer shield plate 7 can move closely up and down. To do.
In FIG. 3, the slide plate 9 is fixed to the inner shield plates 8 and 8 with nails 16 and can be moved up and down without being fixed to the outer shield plate 7. Prevents falling off.
[0014]
[Action]
The operation of the present invention having the above configuration will be described below.
When the stacked log materials 5 change in drying and shrinking of the wood, the log material 6 at the top of the stacked log materials 5 goes down, and the gap S between the log materials 5 and the girders 3 widens (the gap S changes from the state of FIG. 4 to the state of FIG. 5). become).
Since the outer shielding plates 7 on the side of the spar 3 are fixed, the vertical plane 6a of the uppermost log member 6 is lowered while keeping the close contact. Therefore, the gap S is maintained in a sealed state.
[0015]
According to the invention of claim 2, the inner shielding plates 8, 8 fixed to the uppermost log member 6 can more reliably cover the large gap S together with the outer shielding plates 7, 7. Become.
[0016]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, the slide plate 9 is fitted into the opposing dovetail grooves 10 and 11 so that the slide plate 9 slides up and down in the opposing dovetail groove 11 to maintain a close contact state (the gap S is reduced). The state of FIG. 4 is changed to the state of FIG. 5). Therefore, it is possible to prevent the outer shielding plates 7 and 7 or the inner shielding plates 8 and 8 from separating due to warpage due to drying shrinkage.
[0017]
[Effect of the invention]
According to the present invention, even if the stacked log material changes in drying shrinkage of the wood to widen the gap between the log material of the uppermost row and the girder, the gap is formed between the log material of the uppermost row and the outer shielding plate. It can be completely shielded while following the change in shrinkage in close contact.
Further, in the form in which the slide plate is fitted in the opposing dovetail, even if the outer shield plate or the inner shield plate is likely to warp due to drying shrinkage, it is possible to maintain a close contact state and shield the gap. .
For this reason, since the air is prevented from flowing out of the gap due to cooling and heating of the room, it is possible to maintain a comfortable room temperature without wasting electricity and kerosene.
In addition, it is now possible to completely prevent insects from entering through gaps and leakage of indoor lighting. For this reason, it is expected that log houses will spread to general dwelling units.
