【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、紙、プラスチックフ
ィルムなどの連続ウエブをスリットするスリッタに関す
るものである。

【従来技術とその問題点】たとえば、紙、プラスチック
フィルムなどの連続ウエブをスリットし、巻き取るスリ
ッタでは、連続ウエブの送り経路に複数のローラが設け
られ、ローラによって連続ウエブが案内され、送られ、
スリット刃によって連続ウエブがスリットされる。その
後、連続ウエブが巻取ロールに導かれ、巻き取られるこ
とは周知の通りである。
【０００３】この場合、スリット刃によって連続ウエブ
がスリットされるとき、連続ウエブに横すべりが生じ、
連続ウエブが的確にスリットされないことがある。連続
ウエブが折れ曲がり、損傷することもある。

【発明の目的】したがって、この発明の目的は、スリッ
タのスリット刃によって連続ウエブがスリットされると
き、連続ウエブに横すべりが生じず、連続ウエブが的確
にスリットされるようにすること、および連続ウエブが
折れ曲がらず、損傷しないようにすることにある。

【発明の構成】この発明によれば、紙、プラスチックフ
ィルムなどの連続ウエブ１をスリットするスリッタであ
って、所定径の外周面を有する心材２と、前記心材２の
外周面に対応する内径をもち、前記心材２の外周面に嵌
合され、その軸方向に配列された複数のゴムリングまた
は金属リング５とからなるローラを備え、スリット刃１
０を前記ゴムリングまたは金属リング５間の外周みぞ６
に対向させ、前記ゴムリングまたは金属リング５間の外
周みぞ６において、前記スリット刃１０を前記連続ウエ
ブ１に食い込ませ、前記スリット刃１０によって前記連
続ウエブ１をスリットするようにしたことを特徴とする
スリッタが提供される。

【実施例の説明】以下、この発明の実施例を説明する。
【０００７】図１において、これは紙、プラスチックフ
ィルムなどの連続ウエブ１をスリットするスリッタであ
り、スリット刃１０とローラからなり、複数のゴムリン
グまたは金属リング５と心材２によってローラが構成さ
れ、心材２は所定径の外周面を有する。ゴムリングまた
は金属リング５は心材２の外周面に対応する内径の円形
状断面のもので、心材２の外周面に嵌合され、その軸方
向に配列されている。したがって、各ゴムリングまたは
金属リング５間に複数の外周みぞ６が形成される。さら
に、心材２に複数の外周みぞ１１が形成され、スリット
刃１０として複数のレザー刃が使用され、各レザー刃１
０が各外周みぞ６、１１に対向し、各外周みぞ６、１１
において、各レザー刃１０が連続ウエブ１に食い込み、
各レザー刃１０によって連続ウエブ１がスリットされ
る。
【０００８】したがって、各レザー刃１０によって連続
ウエブ１がスリットされるとき、ゴムリングまたは金属
リング５によって連続ウエブ１の横すべりを防止し、こ
れを的確にスリットすることができる。さらに、各レザ
ー刃１０が連続ウエブ１に食い込むとき、連続ウエブ１
が外周みぞ６に押し込まれるが、連続ウエブ１はゴムリ
ングまたは金属リング５の外周面に沿って湾曲するだけ
であり、折れ曲がることはなく、損傷しない。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、この発明によれ
ば、スリッタのスリット刃１０によって連続ウエブ１が
スリットされるとき、連続ウエブ１に横すべりが生じ
ず、連続ウエブ１を的確にスリットすることができる。
しかも、連続ウエブ１が折れ曲がることはなく、損傷せ
ず、初期の目的を達成することができるものである。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 紙、プラスチックフィルムなどの連続ウ
    エブ(1) をスリットするスリッタであって、所定径の外
    周面を有する心材(2) と、前記心材(2) の外周面に対応
    する内径をもち、前記心材(2) の外周面に嵌合され、そ
    の軸方向に配列された複数のゴムリングまたは金属リン
    グ(5) とからなるローラを備え、スリット刃(10)を前記
    ゴムリングまたは金属リング(5) 間の外周みぞ(6) に対
    向させ、前記ゴムリングまたは金属リング(5) 間の外周
    みぞ(6) において、前記スリット刃(10)を前記連続ウエ
    ブ(1) に食い込ませ、前記スリット刃(10)によって前記
    連続ウエブ(1) をスリットするようにしたことを特徴と
    するスリッタ。
