Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、３−アミノ安息香酸エステルを基礎とする
ジアゾ成分及び１−（C1〜C3−アルキル）−２−ヒドロ
キシピリド−６−オンを基礎とするカツプリング成分を
有する新規なピリドンアゾ染料、ならびに該染料を使用
するポリエステル織物の染色法に関する。
特開昭58−136656号明細書によれば、特定の２−、３
−又は４−アミノ安息香酸エステルを基礎とするジアゾ
成分と、１−アルキル−２−ヒドロキシ−４−メチル−
５−シアノピリド−６−オンを基礎とするカツプリング
成分とを有するアゾ染料がすでに知られている。しかし
そこに記載された染料はその使用技術上の性質において
欠点を有することが知られた。
本発明の課題は、有利な使用技術上の性質を有する新
規なピリドンアゾ染料を創製することであつた。
本発明はこの課題を解決するもので、一般式 （式中Ｌはエチレン基、Ｒはメチル基又はエチル基、ｎ
は１の数を意味する）で表わされるピリドンアゾ染料で
ある。
Ｌがエチレン基、Ｒがメチル基又はエチル基特にエチ
ル基、ｎが１である式Ｉのピリドンアゾ染料が特に優れ
ている。
新規な式Ｉのピリドンアゾ染料は、相互の混合物とし
て用いることも可能である。この場合は、ｎが１である
式Ｉのピリドンアゾ染料85〜99重量％及びｎが２及び／
又は３である式Ｉのピリドンアゾ染料１〜15重量％を含
有する混合物が優れている。この場合の％表示は、混合
物中に含有される式Ｉのピリドンアゾ染料の全重量に関
する。
本発明のピリドンアゾ染料は、自体既知の方法により
製造できる。すなわち例えば常法により得られる次式 （式中Ｌ及びｎはそれぞれ前記の意味を有する）で表わ
されるアミンのジアゾニウム塩を、次式 （式中Ｒは前記の意味を有する）で表わされる２−ヒド
ロキシピリド−６−オンとカツプリングさせることがで
きる。
新規な式Ｉのピリドンアゾ染料は、ポリエステル織物
の染色のために好適で、特に有利である。この染料は光
沢を有する黄色ないし緑色の色調を与える。本発明の染
料は高い光堅牢性及び良好な染着能を有する。そのほか
この染料は、比較的低い染色温度においてもポリエステ
ル織物を染色する。
例１（参考例） ３−アミノ安息香酸フエニルグリコールエステル257g
を、50〜60℃で水2000ml、オレイルアミンへのエチレン
オキシドの付加生成物を基礎とする酸性で活性な湿潤剤
8g及び濃塩酸100mlに溶解する。次いで溶液を室温に冷
却し、これに濃塩酸200ml及び氷酢酸100gを同時に加え
る。氷を加えて反応混合物を０℃に冷却し、次いでよく
攪拌しながら23重量％に亜硝酸ナトリウム水溶液310ml
を加え、０〜５℃で３時間攪拌したのち、過する。
液中の過剰の亜硝酸塩をアミドスルホン酸を加えて分解
し、次いでこの液に、水2000ml及び30重量％苛性ソー
ダ液200gに溶解した１−ｎ−プロピル−２−ヒドロキシ
−３−シアノ−４−メチルピリド−６−オンの192gをよ
く攪拌しながら流入する。反応混合物のpH価を苛性ソー
ダ液で8.0〜8.5に高めたのち、１〜２時間攪拌し、懸濁
液を染料が希望の結晶形になるまで80〜95℃に加熱す
る。目的生成物を吸引過し、塩不含になるまで水洗す
る。乾燥ののち、黄色粉末451gが得られ、このものはア
セトンに黄色に溶解し、ポリエチレンテレフタレート織
物を濃色の帯緑黄色色調に染色する。この染料の融点は
150℃で、次式で表わされる。
同様にして、次表に示す次式の染料が得られる。

  2. 【請求項２】ポリエステル織物を染色する方法におい
    て、請求項１記載のピリドンアゾ染料を使用することを
    特徴とする、ポリエステル織物の染色法。
