らハンドルポストカバーへ向って延びるシートカウルと
一体であり、そのシート及びシートカウルにより前記物
品収納部の開口部を開閉自在に覆うとともに、前記シー
トカウルの前端部をヘッドパイプの後部近傍に位置する
ヒンジを介して車体側へ回動自在に取付けたことを特徴

に取付けたことを特徴とする鞍乗型車両。1. A straddle-type vehicle in which an article storage section is disposed between a seat and a handle, wherein an engine is disposed near a rear wheel, and a line connecting a bottom of the article storage section to each upper end of front and rear wheels. Lower than the seat, and the bottom portion is substantially V-viewed in a side view by a rear portion inclined forward and downward below the seat and a front portion inclined forward and upward toward the handle post cover.
It is formed in the shape of a letter, and is extended in the front-rear direction at the center of the vehicle body between the front and rear wheels so that the opening of the article storage section opens continuously upward from the seat bottom to the position near the handle post cover. The helmet can be formed on the front part and the rear part of the bottom at the same time, respectively, and the seat is integral with the seat cowl extending from the front end to the handle post cover, and the article storage part is provided by the seat and the seat cowl. A seat cowl is rotatably mounted on a vehicle body side via a hinge located near a rear portion of a head pipe, and a front end of the seat cowl is rotatably mounted on the vehicle body.
