2. Description of the Related Art When a pressurized object placed between hot plates is heated and pressed, as the fluidity of a resin component of the pressurized object increases, the molten resin tends to flow to the outer periphery. I do. Conventional hot presses usually do not have means for preventing molten resin flowing out on the outer periphery of a flat hot plate. For this reason, at the outer peripheral portion of the molded product, there are problems such as the resin that has flowed out becoming burrs and a portion that cannot be used as a product due to insufficient pressing force due to thinning due to resin outflow. I tended to.

This configuration allows air existing between the layers of the object to be pressurized or gas generated from the inside to be degassed to the outside before the start of hot press or at the time of pressurization at an extremely low pressure in the initial stage. By increasing the amount of compression of the elastic frame as the pressing force increases, a pressing force is generated between the hot plate surrounding means and the outer periphery of the object to be pressed, thereby preventing the molten resin from flowing out.

The relationship among the press body 4, the hot plate 7, the elastic frame 11, and the object to be pressed 12 will now be described. The inner wall of the press body 4 including the shutter 10 has a hot plate 7
The heating plate 7 has a small gap to allow
And close. That is, in the present embodiment, the press body 4 is a strength member that fastens the pressing cylinder 1 and the upper platen 2 and receives a tensile stress according to the pressing force at the time of pressurization, and also serves as a hot plate surrounding means. . The outer periphery of the heating plate 7 is almost the same as the heating plate 7, the inner periphery of the heating plate 7 has a slight gap with the outer periphery of the object to be pressed 12, and the thickness of the heating plate 7 is the same as that of the object to be pressed 12. A similar elastic frame 11 is placed together with the object to be pressed 12. That is, a predetermined gap is provided between each of the hot plate surrounding means, the elastic body frame 11 and the object to be pressurized 12 so as to avoid contact before pressurization and to prevent elasticity during pressurization. When the body frame 11 is compressed, the outer peripheral side surface of the object to be pressed 12 is pressed and sealed while the outer periphery thereof is held by the hot plate surrounding means. The predetermined gap needs to be determined based on the thickness and compression amount of the elastic body frame 11 and the object to be pressed 12, but usually the surface pressure acting on the outer periphery of the object to be pressed 12 during pressing is 1kg to 3k per square cm
If it is determined to be within the range of about g, the outflow of the resin can be sufficiently prevented.

The press body 4 may be appropriately provided to dispose the hot plate 7 at a predetermined interval, for example, to provide a claw and a step plate, or to provide piping or wiring to the hot plate 7. Although a notch is formed, a detailed description and illustration are omitted since a known technique is applied in any case. By the way, the object to be pressurized 1 before the hot plate is raised or at the time of low-pressure pressurization in the initial stage of pressurization.
If it is necessary to forcibly degas air or gas between the two layers or inside, the hot press can be a vacuum hot press. In this case, for example, a sealing member 13 indicated by a virtual line in FIGS.
Finally, the space inside the hot plate surrounding means is configured to be able to be sucked by a vacuum pump. The technology related to the vacuum hot press is already known, and further description is omitted.

Reference numeral 21 denotes a plurality of hot plates. Unlike the case of the first embodiment, convex portions 21A are provided integrally with the hot plates 21 at both ends in the insertion direction of the intermediate hot plate and the lowermost hot plate. I have. The lower portion of each hot plate 21 is fitted into the male and female with a slight gap with the convex portion 21A, so that the convex portion 21A becomes a part of the hot plate surrounding means of the hot plate 21. Reference numeral 22 denotes a shutter capable of opening and closing the front and rear openings of each heat plate 21 where the convex portions 21A are not provided. The shutters are provided on the front and rear surfaces of the frame 20, respectively. Needless to say, the shutter 22 is provided only on the front side of the frame 20 when the convex portion 21A of the hot plate 21 is also provided on the outer peripheral portion behind the hot plate. Then, the protrusion 21A and the shutter 2

When the hot press is a vacuum hot press, the space inside the hot plate surrounding means is surrounded by a sealing member 23 so as to be able to be sucked by a vacuum pump. In the case of the present embodiment, a space can be freely provided on both sides of the convex portion 21A of the heating plate 21. Therefore, compared to the first embodiment, piping to the heating plate 21 or the elastic body frame 11 or the like of the stepped plate can be provided. Attachment (neither is shown) or the like is easy, but the configuration of the hot plate 21 is complicated because the hot plate 21 has the convex portion 21A.

In the case of a vacuum hot press, the space in the sealing member 13 and the space in the hot plate surrounding means can be suctioned in vacuum in this state, that is, before the hot plate is raised and closed. As a result, for example, if the object to be pressurized is a multilayer wiring board, the air between the layers can be suctioned and degassed in advance, and the molded product is burned due to voids and compression of the residual air. Can be prevented.

Hydraulic oil is supplied to the pressing cylinder 1 from a hydraulic drive (not shown), and the pressing ram 6 and the movable platen 5 start to rise. The hot plate 7 rises sequentially as the movable platen 5 rises. The pressing of the pressurized object 12 by the initial extremely low pressure is started, the elastic body frame 11 receives a slight compression, the inner periphery thereof comes into contact with the outer periphery of the pressurized object 12, and the outer periphery thereof is heated plate surrounding means. That is, it comes into contact with the respective inner walls of the press body 4 and the shutter 10. With the passage of time, the resin component of the pressurized object 12 undergoes gelation (fluidization) due to the heating from the hot plate 7 and gas generation is observed.

According to the present invention, since air, gas, and the like existing inside the object to be pressurized can be discharged to the outside of the hot press, a molded article free from voids and burns can be obtained.
Furthermore, since the resin component of the object to be pressed can be prevented from flowing out, a molded article having a uniform thickness and uniformity over the entire area of the molded article can be obtained. Also, since there is almost no flow of the resin component, there is no residual distortion of internal stress, and in the case of a multilayer board, it is possible to obtain a molded product having no displacement between layers. Since there is no flash of burrs on the outer periphery, effects such as omission of a step of cutting and removing a defective portion and improvement in material yield can be obtained.
