2. Description of the Related Art In order to give a beautiful appearance to a molded article made of synthetic resin, a decorative sheet called "molding sheet" is applied to the surface of the molded article by a technique such as vacuum molding, air pressure molding, and simultaneous injection molding. Pasting is often done. For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-45768, Japanese Patent Publication No. 50-191
This is the technique described in Japanese Patent Application No. 32 or Japanese Patent Application No. 3-85555. Generally, a molding sheet used for this purpose is made of polyvinyl chloride (PV) which is inexpensive and has good moldability.
C) sheets, many of which are printed P
A transparent PVC surface layer is provided on the printing surface of a VC decorative sheet. However, the surface layer of PVC is unsatisfactory with respect to the sharpness of clearly projecting a decorative layer such as a pattern printing layer thereunder, and has poor scratch resistance. For this reason, a molded article using the above-mentioned molding sheet has no sense of depth in the design and is easily damaged. If the surface layer is formed of a cured resin such as an acrylate cross-linked by ultraviolet irradiation or the like, the abrasion resistance is improved, but the flexibility of the sheet is impaired, and it becomes difficult to adhere to the molded article. Especially when trying to stick to molded products with three-dimensional shape,
There are problems such as cracks in the surface layer.

As shown in FIG. 2, the molding sheet of the present invention is made of a thermoplastic resin, typically PV.
A first decorative sheet (2) of a thermoplastic resin having a decorative layer (21) on a resin backing sheet (1) used for processing such as vacuum forming and pressure forming of C, ABS, polystyrene, etc. An intermediate layer (3) of a plastic resin, a second decorative sheet (4) of transparent polyvinyl chloride having a decorative layer (41), and a surface layer (5) of a transparent acrylic resin are provided in this order. Since the backing sheet serves as the surface to be adhered to the molded article, as the thermoplastic resin used as the material, for example, in the case of PVC, a material having a small plasticizer content, for example, 10 phr or less, preferably not containing at all You should choose The backing sheet has a thickness that allows the surface of the molded product to be mirror-finished, even if the surface of the synthetic resin substrate has irregularities or distortion due to the adhesive. It is preferable that the total thickness with the sheet is 0.4 mm or more. The thermoplastic resin used as the material of the first decorative sheet may be either transparent or opaque, but PVC is used so that the decorative layer adheres well.
In this case, the content of the plasticizer is preferably 15 phr or less. The thickness of the sheet is preferably a thickness convenient for applying cosmetics such as printing, that is, 0.1 mm or less. The decorative layer provided on the first decorative sheet may be formed by any known method, such as printing a picture or depositing a metal such as aluminum or chromium, depending on the use of the molded article. The decorative layer can be provided on one or both of the upper and lower surfaces of the decorative sheet. The decorative layer may cover the entire surface uniformly, or may partially form a pattern. The intermediate layer is for giving the decorative layer a depth and a three-dimensional effect. In order to exhibit this effect, the thickness must be 5 in total with the second decorative sheet.
It is preferable to select the thickness to be 0 μm or more. The decorative layer of the first decorative sheet serving as a base may be a metal-deposited layer, or may be formed of an ink having high brightness or brilliancy, such as a white ink, a pearl ink, or an ink containing metal powder. . The second decorative sheet may be the same as the above-mentioned decorative sheet as long as it is transparent, and the decorative layer provided on the second decorative sheet must be partially patterned or translucent so that the first decorative sheet (2) can be seen through. Other than the simple pattern, the same as described above may be used. The acrylic resin that forms the surface layer is not limited to polymers such as polymethyl (meth) acrylate, polyethyl (meth) acrylate, and polybutyl (meth) acrylate, as well as copolymers of monomers composing these. If the thickness is too thick, bending becomes difficult, and if it is too thin, a deep design cannot be expressed. Usually, a range of 50 to 200 μm is appropriate. In order for the decorative layer to be clearly seen through the surface layer, the visible light (λ = 400 to 700 nm) transmittance of the surface layer is 70% or more, and the haze degree is 8% or less, particularly 6% or less. Preferably, there is. However, if the haze degree is too small, even small flaws in the decorative layer can be seen clearly, so it is good to select 1% or more, preferably 3% or more. Here, the haze degree is a percentage indicating the ratio of the scattered light amount to the total transmitted light amount when light is applied to the surface layer. The smaller the haze, the clearer the decorative layer, and the larger the haze, the more it looks cloudy. The formation of the surface layer may be performed according to a known means such as application of a paint or lamination of a sheet (preferably subjected to an easy adhesion treatment such as corona discharge machining). If the surface has irregularities, refraction or diffusion of light may occur and the sharpness may be impaired. Therefore, the centerline average roughness (Ra) of the surface of the molding sheet should be 0.1 μm or less. Is preferred.
As shown in FIG. 3, an example of the painted molded product of the present invention is obtained by laminating and integrating the above-mentioned molding sheet on a synthetic resin substrate (7). However, in this figure, the intermediate layer and the second decorative layer are omitted. The base material may be a wood base material such as MDF, a synthetic resin such as ABS resin, phenol resin, polystyrene, PVC, and polypropylene, ceramics, and a substrate made of metal such as iron or aluminum. The lamination of the base material and the molding sheet may be performed according to an ordinary technique, for example, a technique such as a roll pressing method, a vacuum laminating method, a vacuum pressing method, and a simultaneous painting method for injection molding. If necessary, an adhesive may be applied to the back surface of the molding sheet or the surface of the base material. The adhesive may be a known one such as vinyl acetate emulsion, acryl-based, modified rubber-based, nitrile rubber-based, or urethane-based, and the application means may be a usual means such as roll coating or spray coating.

REFERENCE EXAMPLE A decorative sheet was prepared by gravure printing a wood pattern with a printing ink "KAZX" (manufactured by Showa Ink Industries, Ltd.) on a polyvinyl chloride sheet (plasticizer content: 11 phr) having a thickness of 0.1 mm. On the printed surface of this decorative sheet, a transparent polymethyl methacrylate sheet having a thickness of 0.08 mm is superimposed as a surface layer, and on the non-printed surface, as a backing sheet, a polyvinyl chloride sheet having a thickness of 0.8 mm (plasticizer is used) (Not contained) and laminated by heat to obtain a molding sheet having a layer structure of backing sheet / decorative sheet / decorative layer / surface layer. Height 300mm,
An MDF base material having a flat box shape with a width of 200 mm and a thickness of 18 mm and all edges having a radius of 5 mm was prepared. Emulsion "CVC550" of urethane-modified vinyl resin as an adhesive on the above substrate (manufactured by Konishi Bond)
Was spray-coated to provide an adhesive layer having a coating amount of 5 g / size 2 . This base material was placed in a lower chamber of a vacuum press machine in which a box body was divided into upper and lower parts by a silicone rubber sheet. Place the above molding sheet on the base material, evacuate the lower chamber and evacuate the upper chamber, heat the molding sheet to a temperature of about 90 ° C with a silicone rubber sheet, and press it against the surface of the molded article. Glued. The obtained painted molded article had the structure shown in FIG. 3 and had high sharpness and scratch resistance. A molding sheet similar to that described above was prepared as the surface layer, except that a sheet obtained by applying and curing an ultraviolet-curable paint on a PVC sheet having a thickness of 0.1 mm was used. When a painted molded product was produced using this molding sheet in the same manner as described above, cracks occurred at the ridge portions of the obtained molded product.
