Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 （イ） 産業上の利用分野 本考案は、硬膜外麻酔に用いるカテーテルに関するも
のである。
（ロ） 従来技術 従来の硬膜外麻酔においては、第４図（Ａ），（Ｂ）
に示すように、人体１にルンバール針（図示せず）を刺
し入れて硬膜外腔を探り入れ、そこにカテーテル３を差
し込み、カテーテル３を人体１にテープ等で固定し、注
入器4a,4bからカテーテル３をかいして硬膜外腔に麻酔
薬をワンショットまたは持続注入する。
ところで、このカテーテル３は外径0.3〜1.5mm、内径
0.1〜1.2mm、長さ600〜1300mmであって、カテーテル３
の内面はほぼ滑らかな円筒面になっている。そのため
に、カテーテル３を人体１に長時間取り付けていた場
合、カテーテル３が人体１で押し潰されたり、折り曲げ
られたりして、体温および外気の温度により硬度が変化
し、カテーテル３が局部的に閉塞されることがある。そ
の結果、麻酔効果が減殺されてしまう事態が発生する。
（ハ） 考案が解決しようとする課題 本考案が解決しようとする課題は、硬膜外カテーテル
を長時間人体に取り付けていた場合に、人体の動きによ
ってカテーテルが圧し潰されてもあるいは折り曲げられ
ても、カテーテルが局部的に閉塞しないようにすること
にある。
（ニ） 課題を解決するための手段 本考案の硬膜外麻酔カテーテルは、外径0.3〜1.5mm、
長さ600〜1300mmの硬膜外麻酔カテーテルにおいて、該
カテーテル内面にその長手方向にそって複数条の凹凸部
を形成し、該凸部に接するように該カテーテルの長手方
向にそって充填材を挿入した構成によって、上記課題を
解決している。
前記充填材が中空管状体であるかまたは中実棒状体で
ある。また、これらは単数か複数のいずれでもよい。
（ホ） 実施例 第１図から第５図までを参照して本考案の硬膜外麻酔
カテーテルの実施例について説明する。
本考案の硬膜外麻酔カテーテル3aは、外径Ｄが0.3〜
1.5mm、長さＬが600〜1300mmの硬膜外麻酔カテーテル3a
において、カテーテル3aの内面にその長手方向にそって
複数条の凹凸部31を形成し、凹凸部31の山311から谷312
までの平均高さｈを外径Ｄの５〜70％に形成する。
さらにカテーテル3aの内部には、凸部31に接して長手方
向にそって充填材3bを挿入する。充填材3bは、第４図に
それぞれ示すように、中空管状体（Ａ）であるかまたは
中実棒状体（Ｂ）である。これらは単数であっても（A,
B）、または、複数であっても（C,D）よい。
凹凸部31の平均径ｄ（第３図）は外径Ｄの５〜70％で
あることが好ましい。凹凸の数は３〜８条が好ましい。
第１図に示すように、カテーテル3aの先端32は閉じら
れているか、または、図示していないが開かれていても
よい。第１図および第２図に示すように、カテーテルの
先端32の付近に薬液排出孔33が設けられている。先端32
から距離ｌ（40〜60mm）の位置から中間位置まで目盛34
が設けられている。
カテーテル3aおよぴ充填材3bは、ポリウレタン、ポリ
エチレン、ナイロン、PVC、シリコン、テフロン等から
つくられる。
（ヘ） 作用 本考案のカテーテル3aは内面に凹凸部31が設けられて
いるので、カテーテル3aまたは充填材3bが局部的に押し
潰されたり、折り曲げられたりしたときに、凹凸31がカ
テーテル3aおよび充填材3bと互いに干渉し合って若干の
間隙を残す。その結果、カテーテル3aの流通路は確保さ
れる。
（ト） 効果 本考案によれば、カテーテルをいかなる条件の下にお
いても局部的な閉塞を生ぜず、安定した持続麻酔が確保
される。

  1. 【請求項１】外径0.3〜1.5mm、長さ600〜1300mmの硬膜
    外麻酔カテーテルにおいて、該カテーテル内面にその長
    手方向にそって複数条の凹凸部を形成し、該凸部に接す
    るように該カテーテルの長手方向にそって充填材を挿入
    したことを特徴とする硬膜外麻酔カテーテル。
  2. 【請求項２】前記充填材が中空管状体であることを特徴
    とした請求項１記載の硬膜外麻酔カテーテル。
  3. 【請求項３】前記中空管状体を複数本設けることを特徴
    とした請求項２記載の硬膜外麻酔カテーテル。
  4. 【請求項４】前記充填材が中実棒状体であることを特徴
    とした請求項１記載の硬膜外麻酔カテーテル。
  5. 【請求項５】前記中実棒状体を複数本設けることを特徴
    とした請求項４記載の硬膜外麻酔カテーテル。
