Abstract

[Problem] A rain guard is installed on a bicycle to protect the rider from rain when it rains. When the rain stops, the rain guard is stored instead of being installed. To provide bicycle rain gear that can be easily deployed and stored without the use of tools in response to changes in weather. [Solution] The rain guard is installed on the bicycle rack. When it rains, the rain guard is deployed to form a support frame. A transparent sheet is removed and attached to the support frame and the front basket to protect the rider from rain. When the rain stops, the rain guard is shrunk and the transparent sheet is stored. The rain guard can be easily deployed and shrunk without the use of tools or tools, and can easily respond to changes in weather. The present invention relates to a clear rain shade that is deployed and connected to a bicycle when it is raining, as shown in FIG. 1, and is stored and retracted when it is not raining.

In rainy weather, it is illegal to ride a bicycle with one hand while holding an umbrella, so the rider must wear rain gear. The rider's face and other parts of the body get wet from the rain, and the inside of the gear gets steamy, making it uncomfortable to ride. If the rider then goes shopping, he or she must carry the rain gear with them.
As a measure to protect against rain, some houses are equipped with roofs or arched roofs.

The prior art of Patent Document 1 requires an air pump to pump air into the air tube. Therefore, the air pump and a folded transparent waterproof sheet must be carried. Also, with a manual air pump, it takes time to inject air. Furthermore, the force applied to the air tube by operating the handle is large, and the waterproof range formed by the arch shape is narrow.

The clear rain shade has a simple structure with a transparent waterproof sheet 2 stored in a support frame unit 1, and is installed on the bicycle carrier. The support frame unit 1 is unfolded and the transparent waterproof sheet 2 is placed as shown in Figure 1 to provide a wide range of waterproofing for the rider in rainy weather. When it is not raining, the transparent waterproof sheet 2 is folded and stored to reduce the support frame unit 1. Furthermore, no tools or implements are required to unfold and reduce the support frame unit 1, and the transparent waterproof sheet 2 can be easily placed and stored, so that if it is installed on the carrier in preparation for rain, it can respond to changes in weather. The purpose of the clear rain shade is to form a support frame and use the transparent waterproof sheet 2 as a rainproof gear for bicycles in rainy weather, waterproofing the upper and front of the rider and allowing the rider to see ahead while riding, thereby enabling comfortable riding.
If a rain guard is installed on the front basket, the front basket will move when the handlebars are operated, and the rain guard will move in the same way, impairing the waterproofing of the rider. The most important feature of the present invention is that by using an elastic cord carabiner 2A-3 to connect the front basket to the transparent waterproof sheet 2, the elasticity of the elastic cord carabiner 2A-3 flexibly corresponds to the range of movement of the front basket caused by the handlebars, and the transparent waterproof sheet 2 is positioned in an appropriate position.

The transparent waterproof sheet 2 provides excellent waterproofing to the driver and reduces air resistance during driving by forming a slope. In addition, no tools or implements are required to deploy and collapse the Clear Rain Shade, and it can be stored in response to changes in weather without the trouble of carrying it around. Another advantage is that the Clear Rain Shade can be easily installed on the carrier, and can be installed on many commercially available bicycles that have a front basket and carrier.

The support frame unit 1 is constructed by combining two telescopic poles 1A with a storage box 1C as shown in FIG. 4, and by attaching a pipe frame 1B to the tip of the telescopic poles 1A in an integrated manner.
To install the support frame unit 1, the mounting base metal fitting 1C-1 is placed on the bicycle carrier, and the storage box 1C is attached as shown in FIG.
The telescopic pole 1A has fixing levers (first stage 1A-1, second stage 1A-2) as shown in Figure 4. The telescopic pole 1A is fixed by locking the fixing lever, and the length of the telescopic pole 1A can be changed by unlocking the fixing lever. The waterproof sheet connection fitting 1A-3, located in the middle stage, has a strip-shaped aluminum fitting attached near the second stage 1A-2 of the fixing lever, and the aluminum fitting has two hooks.
The pipe frame 1B has left and right side frames 1B-1 and can move 180 degrees as shown in FIG.
The storage box 1C has a lockable door and is stored with a folded transparent waterproof sheet 2 inside. The mounting base metal fitting 1C-1 is installed on the loading platform and has a structure that allows easy attachment and detachment to the storage box 1C as shown in Figure 4.
The transparent waterproof sheet 2 has holes (grommets) 2A-1 (2 places) and 2A-2 (2 places) as shown in Figure 4, and is a transparent sheet that allows visibility ahead. The rubber cord carabiner 2A-3 has elasticity that allows it to stretch approximately 2.3 times its original length, and S-shaped carabiners are attached to both ends. The length of the rubber cord carabiner 2A-3 can be adjusted, and two of them are stored in the storage box 1C.
The dedicated cover 1D shown in FIG. 4 is attached by covering the support fitting unit 1 in a contracted state.

The method of deploying the clear rain shade is to open the left and right side frames 1B-1 of the pipe frame 1B of the support frame unit 1 180 degrees to the left and right as shown in Figure 2. Push up the waterproof sheet connection fittings 1A-3 to extend the telescopic pole 1A and lock the second-stage fixing lever 1A-1. Open the door of the storage box 1C as shown in Figure 3 and take out the transparent waterproof sheet 2 and the rubber cord carabiner 2A-3. Spread out the transparent waterproof sheet 2 and connect the through holes (grommets) 2A-1 (2 places) to the hooks (2 places) of the waterproof sheet connection fittings 1A-3. Connect the rubber cord carabiner 2A-3 (2 pieces) to the through holes (grommets) 2A-2 (2 places). Connect one side of the rubber cord carabiner 2A-3 to both ends of the front upper part of the front basket. Push up the pipe frame 1B to extend the telescopic pole 1A, adjust the height of the pipe frame 1B as shown in Figure 1, and lock and fix the first-stage fixing lever 1A-2.

To shrink the clear rain shade, unlock the first-stage fixing lever 1A-2 on the telescopic pole 1A and retract the telescopic pole 1A. Open the door of the storage box 1C and take out a dry towel. Wipe off the rainwater adhering to the transparent waterproof sheet 2 with the towel. Remove the rubber cord carabiner 2A-3 from the front basket and remove the two rubber cord carabiners 2A-3 from the transparent waterproof sheet 2 and store them in the storage box 1C. Remove the transparent waterproof sheet 2 from the waterproof sheet connecting fittings 1A-3 and store it in the storage box 1C and close the door. Unlock the second-stage fixing lever 1A-1 on the telescopic pole 1A and retract the telescopic pole 1A. Close the left and right side frames 1B-1 180 degrees to the left and right.
