Abstract
Description
厚さ200μmのニッケルメッキ銅板を裁断して、それぞれ、長さ40mm、幅45mmである第1電極リードと、長さ10mm、幅45mmである第2電極リードを製造した。
希釈剤であるグリシジルエステル0.5gを液状エポキシ9.5gに添加して溶媒を製造した以外は、製造例1と同一の方法で2段の電極リードを製造した。ここで、希釈剤であるグリシジルエステルは、エポキシに5wt%添加するため、全体の接着剤では1.1wt%を占める。
希釈剤であるグリシジルエステル3gを液状エポキシ7gに添加して溶媒を製造した以外は、製造例1と同一の方法で2段の電極リードを製造した。ここで、希釈剤であるグリシジルエステルは、エポキシに30wt%添加するため、全体の接着剤では6.6wt%を占める。
希釈剤であるグリシジルエステル5gを液状エポキシ5gに添加して溶媒を製造した以外は、製造例1と同一の方法で2段の電極リードを製造した。ここで、希釈剤であるグリシジルエステルは、エポキシに50wt%添加するため、全体の接着剤では11wt%を占める。
先ず、製造例1、製造例2、比較例1および比較例2で製造された2段の電極リードサンプルを、それぞれ、125mlの容量のポリエチレン(PE)瓶に、電解液30mL(リチウム塩LiPF6 1M、およびエチレンカーボネート(EC):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC):ジメチルカーボネート(DMC)をそれぞれ3:3:4の割合で溶解して製造)とともに収納し、パラフィンで入口を密封した。そして、前記瓶をそれぞれアルミニウム包装紙でシールし、60℃の温度、90%RHの相対湿度である空間で16週間保管した。1週、2週、4週、8週および16週が経過するごとに、前記2段の電極リードサンプルを取り出して電解液を完全に除去し、両端にそれぞれ端子を連結し、抵抗測定器(モデル名:HIOKI 3560)を用いてそれぞれの抵抗を測定した。
製造例1、比較例1で製造された2段の電極リードサンプルを同時熱重量分析装置(Simultaneous Thermogravimetric Analyzer、メーカー:HITACHI、モデル名:STA7200)に投入した。そして、窒素(N2)ガス環境で、30℃から400℃まで、4℃/minの昇温速度で熱を加えた。そして、初期質量に対して変化した質量を演算することで、重量減少率を測定した。

Claims (13)
- 一端が電極組立体の一側から突出する電極タブと連結される第1電極リードと、
一端が前記第1電極リードの他端と連結され、他端が前記電極組立体を収容する電池ケースの外部に突出する第2電極リードと、
前記第1電極リードおよび前記第2電極リードを互いに連結する連結部とを含み、
前記連結部は、
前記第1電極リードと前記第2電極リードとの間に塗布され、且つ硬化された接着剤で形成され、
前記接着剤は、
導電材および溶媒が混合されて形成され、
前記溶媒は、
ポリマーおよび希釈剤が混合されて形成され、
前記溶媒は、
前記希釈剤を5wt%~15wt%含む、電極リード。 - 前記溶媒は、
前記希釈剤を5wt%~10wt%含む、請求項1に記載の電極リード。 - 前記希釈剤は、
グリシジルエステル(Glycidyl Ester)系である、請求項1または2に記載の電極リード。 - 前記接着剤は、
前記導電材を70wt%~85wt%含み、
前記溶媒を15wt%~30wt%含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電極リード。 - 前記導電材は、
黒鉛、カーボンブラック、導電性繊維、金属粉末、導電性ウィスカー、導電性金属酸化物および導電性素材のうち少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の電極リード。 - 前記導電材は、
銀を含む、請求項5に記載の電極リード。 - 前記ポリマーは、
エポキシ樹脂、アクリル樹脂、EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)樹脂、CPE(Chlorinated Polyethylene)樹脂、シリコン、ポリウレタン、尿素樹脂、メラミン樹脂、フェノール樹脂、不飽和エステル樹脂、ポリプロピレン(Polypropylene)、ポリエチレン(Polyethylene)、ポリイミド(Polyimide)およびポリアミド(Polyamide)のうち少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の電極リード。 - 前記ポリマーは、
エポキシ樹脂を含む、請求項7に記載の電極リード。 - 正極および負極を含む電極と、セパレータが積層される電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容するパウチ型の電池ケースと、
前記電極と連結され、前記電極組立体の一側から突出する電極タブと、
一端が前記電極タブと連結される第1電極リードと、
一端が前記第1電極リードの他端と連結され、他端が前記電池ケースの外部に突出する第2電極リードと、
前記第1電極リードおよび前記第2電極リードを互いに連結する連結部とを含み、
前記連結部は、
前記第1電極リードと前記第2電極リードとの間に塗布され、且つ硬化された接着剤で形成され、
前記接着剤は、
導電材および溶媒が混合されて形成され、
前記溶媒は、
ポリマーおよび希釈剤が混合されて形成され、
前記溶媒は、
前記希釈剤を5wt%~15wt%含む、パウチ型二次電池。 - 前記第1および第2電極リードが前記連結部を介して連結された部分を囲み、前記第1および第2電極リードを前記電池ケースに接着させる絶縁部をさらに含む、請求項9に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記第1および第2電極リードと前記連結部との接着力は、
前記第1および第2電極リードと前記絶縁部との接着力より弱い、請求項10に記載のパウチ型二次電池。 - 前記絶縁部は、
電気絶縁性を有する熱可塑性、熱硬化性、光硬化性樹脂のうち少なくとも一つで形成される、請求項10または11に記載のパウチ型二次電池。 - 第1電極リードおよび第2電極リードをそれぞれ製造するステップと、
前記第1電極リードの他端および前記第2電極リードの一端のうち少なくとも一つに接着剤を塗布するステップと、
前記第1電極リードの他端と前記第2電極リードの一端を互いに接着させてリード積層体を形成するステップと、
前記リード積層体に熱を印加して前記接着剤を硬化することで連結部を形成するステップとを含み、
前記接着剤は、
導電材および溶媒が混合されて形成され、
前記溶媒は、
ポリマーおよび希釈剤が混合されて形成され、
前記溶媒は、
前記希釈剤を5wt%~15wt%含む、電極リードの製造方法。
