長手方向に沿って延在する第1の板体、及び、少なくとも一端が開口を有する収容空間を備え、長手方向の寸法が厚さ方向、幅方向の寸法より大きいケースと、
収容空間内に配置された電極組立体と、
開口にカバーされた蓋体と、を備え、
ここで、第1の板体に圧力リリーフ機構が配置されており、圧力リリーフ機構はケースの内部圧力又は温度が閾値に達した時に作動して内部圧力を解放するために用いられ、長手方向において、圧力リリーフ機構の延在寸法が第1の板体の延在寸法の1/4以上である、電池セルを提供する。

Claims (12)
- 長手方向に沿って延在する第1の板体と、少なくとも一端が開口を有する収容空間とを備え、前記長手方向の寸法が厚さ方向、幅方向の寸法より大きいケースと、
前記収容空間内に設置された電極組立体と、
前記開口にカバーされた蓋体と、を備え、
前記第1の板体に、前記ケースの内部圧力又は温度が閾値に達した場合に前記内部圧力を解放するように作動する圧力リリーフ機構が配置されており、前記長手方向において、前記圧力リリーフ機構の延在寸法が前記第1の板体の延在寸法の1/4以上である、電池セル。 - 前記圧力リリーフ機構は、前記第1の板体の中間領域に位置している、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記第1の板体は、並設された第1の部分と第2の部分とを有し、前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分は溶接により固定され、前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分の接合部に溶接ビードが形成され、前記溶接ビードは前記圧力リリーフ機構である、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記溶接ビードは、前記長手方向に沿って前記第1の板体を貫通している、請求項3に記載の電池セル。
- 前記圧力リリーフ機構は、前記第1の板体に設けられた切れ込みである、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記切れ込みは、前記第1の板体の前記収容空間から離れた外面に設けられている、請求項5に記載の電池セル。
- 前記第1の板体に垂直な方向において、前記第1の板体の前記切れ込みに対応する寸法は前記第1の板体の他の領域での寸法の1/4~3/4である、請求項5に記載の電池セル。
- 前記ケースは、前記第1の板体と交差して設置された、前記長手方向に沿って延在する第2の板体をさらに備え、前記第1の板体は前記幅方向に垂直であり、前記第2の板体は前記厚さ方向に垂直であり、前記第1の板体の面積は前記第2の板体の面積より小さい、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、前記厚さ方向に沿って積層設置された複数の極シートを有し、かつ前記極シートと前記第2の板体は前記厚さ方向に沿って積層設置されている、請求項8に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の電池セルを備え、
複数の前記電池セルは前記厚さ方向に沿って並設され、前記長手方向及び前記厚さ方向はいずれも水平方向に平行であり、前記幅方向は鉛直方向に平行である、電池。 - 前記第1の板体は、前記電池セルの前記鉛直方向に沿った底部に位置する、請求項10に記載の電池。
- 請求項10又は11に記載の電池を備える、電力消費装置。
