Abstract
Description
フレキソ印刷及びインクジェット印刷を使用して、透明な熱可塑性フィルム(Scheu Dental Tech Iserlohn,GermanyからDuran PETGの商品名(直径12.5cm×厚さ0.75mm)で入手可能)上に連続的な大きな面積カバレージ図形を作成した。フレキソ印刷及びインクジェット印刷では、不透明なUV硬化性白色インク(Nazdar Ink Technologies、Shawnee、KSから商品名Nazdar9301で入手可能)及びBrownwoodから商品名INKJET Cyan Inkで入手可能な青色UV硬化性インクをそれぞれ使用した。
個別のパターンを直接パターン化する第1のアプローチを例示するために、卓上ステンシルプリンタを使用して、異なる直径、アスペクト比、及びパターン密度のパターンドットを、3M,St.Paul,MNから商品名Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive DP100 Plus Clearで入手可能なエポキシ接着剤により堆積させた。異なる開口部及び厚さのステンシルは、Sefar Inc,Buffalo,NYから入手した。
個別の審美的パターンを直接パターン化する第2のアプローチを例示するために、UV白色繰り返しドットパターン(Nazdar9301,Nazdar Ink Technologies,Shawnee,KS)を、パイロット規模のロールツーロール印刷ラインを使用してPETGフィルムの片側(厚さ0.75mm)にフレキソ印刷した。図7Aに示すように、印刷されたドットは、六角形パターン(直径600μm、対角線間隔1200μm、及びウェブ横方向間隔1050μm)を有した。印刷されたパターンを、Xeric Web UV硬化ステーション(XDS Holding Inc,Neenah,WI)を通して硬化させることにより、印刷パターンを防汚性(smudge-proof)にした。
この実施例では、直接パターン化アプローチを利用したが、印刷されたインクは、モノラウリン、抗菌及び/又は抗バイオフィルム剤を含んだ。モノラウリンをNazdar9301白色インクに溶解して、Flexiproofer100(RK Print Coat Instruments,Litlington,Royston,Herts UK)でPETGディスク上に印刷した。印刷された画像は、ウェブ流れ方向20mm及びウェブ横方向10mmのピッチで約5mm×9mmの「3M」ロゴの繰り返しアレイであった(SGS,Brooklyn Park,MN)。
個別の審美的パターンの「間接パターン化」を例示するために、繰り返し赤色ドットパターンを、パイロット印刷ラインの剥離ライナー上にフレキソ印刷し、その後、厚さ0.75mmの透明PETGに転写した。剥離ライナー基材は、シリコーンコーティング紙ライナー(Loparex,Willowbrook,IL)であった。
この実施例では、上記の実施例3のように直接パターン化アプローチを利用したが、プリント後に、上記の図4に概略的に示されるように、それらをキャストフィルムの微細構造化表面と接触させることによって構造化した。UV透明繰り返しパターン(Nazdar1028,Nazdar Ink Technologies,Shawnee,KS)を、Flexiproofer100(RK Print Coat Instruments,Litlington,Royston,Herts,UK)を使用してPETGフィルム(厚さ0.75mm)の片側にフレキソ印刷した。印刷された画像は、ウェブ流れ方向20mm及びウェブ横方向10mmのピッチで約5mm×9mmの「3M」ロゴの繰り返しアレイを有した(SGS,Brooklyn Park,MN)。
Claims (25)
- 患者の少なくとも1本の歯を位置決めするように構成された歯科装具を作製するための方法であって、
硬化性液体樹脂組成物をポリマー材料の主表面上に印刷して、前記ポリマー材料の上に個別の未硬化液体領域のパターンを形成することと、
前記未硬化液体領域を少なくとも部分的に硬化させて、対応する構造のアレイを前記ポリマー材料の前記主表面上に形成することであって、前記構造は、約25ミクロン~約1mmの特徴的断面寸法、及び約100ミクロン~約2000ミクロンの特徴部間隔を有する、ことと、
前記ポリマー材料内に複数のキャビティを形成して、1本以上の歯を受け入れるように構成されたキャビティの配列を含む前記歯科装具を形成することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記歯科装具の前記表面の約20%~約98%が、前記構造を含まない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記歯科装具が、約75%~約99%の可視光透過率、約20%未満のヘイズ、及び約75%~約100%の透明度のうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記アレイが、審美的パターンを含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記構造のアレイが、フレキソ印刷又はスクリーン印刷で印刷される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記形成ステップの前又は最中に、前記ポリマー材料上の前記構造を硬化させることを更に含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化性液体組成物が、硬化性樹脂、液体担体、並びに、抗菌剤、抗バイオフィルム剤、摩擦低減剤、抗う蝕剤、並びにそれらの混合物及び組み合わせから選択される治療剤を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が、24時間接触後に黄色ブドウ球菌(S.aureus)及びストレプトコッカス・ミュータンス菌に対して少なくとも2の微生物の対数減少を示す抗菌治療剤を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記抗菌治療剤が、Ag、モノラウリン、金属酸化物(MOx)、機能性糖カルボキシレート、並びにそれらの混合物及び組み合わせを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記抗菌治療剤が、AgOx、ZnOx、CuOx、TiOx、AlOx、並びにそれらの混合物及び合金から選択される金属酸化物MOxである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物が、AgCuZnOx、AgドープZnOx、AgドープAZO、AgドープTiO2、AlドープZnO、及びTiOxから選択される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー材料の実質的に平坦なシート上の前記構造が、熱成形ステップ後に、任意の寸法において約50%未満歪む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、PETg、PCTg、並びにそれらの混合物及び組み合わせから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 患者の少なくとも1本の歯を位置決めするように構成された歯科装具を作製するための方法であって、
硬化性液体組成物を剥離基材の主表面上に印刷して、前記剥離基材の上に未硬化液体領域の不連続パターンを形成することと、
前記未硬化液体領域を少なくとも部分的に硬化させて、対応する構造のアレイを形成することであって、前記構造は、約25ミクロン~約1mmの特徴的断面寸法、及び約100ミクロン~約2000ミクロンの特徴部間隔を有する、ことと、
前記剥離基材とポリマー材料の主表面とを、前記構造が前記ポリマー材料の前記主表面と接触するように接触させることと、
前記構造が前記剥離基材から前記ポリマー材料の前記主表面に転写されるように、前記剥離基材と前記ポリマー材料とを分離することと、
前記ポリマー材料内に複数のキャビティを形成して、前記キャビティが1本以上の歯を受け入れるように構成されているポリマーシェルを含む前記歯科装具を形成することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記歯科装具が、約75%~約99%の可視光透過率、約20%未満のヘイズ、及び約75%~約100%の透明度のうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記印刷が、フレキソ印刷、ステンシル印刷、スクリーン印刷、及びそれらの組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項14又は15に記載の方法。
- 前記形成ステップの前又は最中に、前記ポリマー材料上の前記構造を硬化させることを更に含む、請求項14~16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が、硬化性樹脂、液体担体、並びに、抗菌剤、抗バイオフィルム剤、摩擦低減剤、抗う蝕剤、並びにそれらの混合物及び組み合わせから選択される治療剤を含む、請求項14~17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が、24時間接触後に黄色ブドウ球菌及びストレプトコッカス・ミュータンス菌に対して少なくとも2の微生物の対数減少を示す抗菌治療剤を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー材料の実質的に平坦なシート上に載せた時点の前記構造が、熱成形ステップ後に、任意の寸法において約50%未満歪む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 歯科装具であって、
1本以上の歯を受け入れるための複数のキャビティを含むポリマー基材と、
前記基材上に印刷された構造のアレイと、を含み、前記印刷された構造は治療剤を含み、前記構造は、約25μm~約1000μmの平均特徴部サイズ及び約100μm~約2000μmの平均特徴部間隔を有し、前記歯科装具は約75%~約99%の可視光透過率を有する、歯科装具。 - ポリマーシェルの表面の約20%~約98%が、構造を含まない、請求項21に記載の歯科装具。
- 前記アレイが、審美的パターン、画像、ロゴ、バーコード、又はQRコードを形成する、請求項21又は22に記載の歯科装具。
