C1は、ゴム含有量SEBS(G1652)が多いことに一部起因して、7wt%のゴム含有量を有し、その結果、HDTと引張強度は低かったが、熱老化後の機械的保持率は良好であった。
C2は、樹脂中にわずか2.5wt%のSEBS(MD1537)、わずか2%のゴム含有量を含まず、その結果、熱老化後の引張および曲げ保持率が低かった。
C3~C7は、ゴム源として、不飽和ゴムであるHIPSを含んでいた。これらの組成物はそれぞれ、C7の樹脂中のゴム含有量がEx1~Ex3と同じ3wt%であるにもかかわらず、熱老化後の引張および曲げ保持率が低かった。これは、HIPS中の不飽和ゴムが、SEBS中の水素化されたゴムほど熱老化のもとで安定でないことに起因すると考えられる。HIPSの二重結合は、熱老化の間に劣化する。組成物C4は、水素化された炭化水素樹脂がないことに起因して、非常に低いMFRを示す。
C8は、ゴムを含まず、その結果、熱老化後の引張および曲げ保持率が低い。
Claims (15)
- 熱可塑性組成物であって:
(a) ポリフェニレンエーテル(PPE)およびポリスチレン(PS)を含んでなる、約30wt%から約60wt%の樹脂成分と;
(b) 約35wt%から約65wt%の充填剤成分と;
(c) 部分的に水素化された炭化水素樹脂を少なくとも含んでなる、約1wt%から約5wt%の流動促進剤と;
(d) 前記充填剤成分を除いた前記組成物中で2.5wt%から5wt%のゴム含有量を含んでなるエラストマー成分と、を含んでなり、
全成分の一つに合わせた重量パーセント値が100wt%を超えず、全重量パーセント値が、(d)に示されるもの以外、前記組成物の全重量を基準にする、熱可塑性組成物。 - 前記ポリスチレンがゴム補強剤を含まない、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- 前記充填剤成分が、ガラス繊維、チタナート、二酸化チタン、またはそれらの組み合わせを含んでなる、請求項1または2に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- 約20wt%から約40wt%のPPEと、約1wt%から約20wt%のPSとを含んでなる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- PPEが、PPEホモポリマーまたはPPEコポリマーを含んでなる、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- PPEがPPEホモポリマーを含んでなる、請求項5に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- 前記エラストマー成分が、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの水素化されたブロックコポリマーを含んでなる、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- 前記流動促進剤が、完全に水素化された炭化水素樹脂を含んでなる、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- ISO527に準拠して決定される毎分5ミリメートル(mm/min)のスピードでの引張強度、少なくとも100メガパスカル(MPa)を有する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- ISO75に準拠して、4mm厚の棒上で1.82MPaの荷重を使用して決定される、少なくとも145℃の熱変形温度を有する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- ASTM D1238に準拠して試験される、300℃および5キログラム(kg)荷重で、10分あたり少なくとも20グラム(g/10min)のメルトフローレート(MFR)を有する、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- SABIC法に準拠して決定される、3.5から4.5の誘電定数(Dk)および0.005未満の誘電正接(Df)を有する、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- 150℃で1000時間の熱老化後に、少なくとも75%の引張強度保持率、曲げ強度保持率、またはノッチ付きアイゾッド衝撃強度(NII)保持率を有する、態様1から12のいずれか一つに記載の熱可塑性組成物であって、引張強度が、ISO527に準拠して5mm/minのスピードで決定され、曲げ強度が、ISO178に準拠して2mm/minのスピードで決定され、そしてNIIが、ISO180に準拠して室温で決定される、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物。
- 少なくとも一つの追加の添加剤を含む、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物であって、前記少なくとも一つの追加の添加剤が、酸掃去剤、滴下防止剤、酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、鎖延長剤、着色剤、離型剤、追加の流動促進剤、潤滑剤、可塑剤、クエンチング剤、難燃剤、UV反射添加剤、耐衝撃性改良剤、発泡剤、補強剤、またはそれらの組み合わせを含んでなる、熱可塑性組成物。
- 電子通信装置用のダイポールアンテナである、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の熱可塑性組成物を含む物品。
