Abstract
Description
(i)(a)のフィルム構造体中の内部層として用いられる極性反応性基(官能化)ポリオレフィン層を含む少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層を提供する工程と、
(ii)(b)の十分な耐化学性の値を有する積層接着剤組成物を提供する工程と、
(iii)積層接着剤組成物を内部層の表面の少なくとも一部分に塗布して、内部層と積層接着剤組成物フィルム構造体との組み合わせを形成する工程と、を含む。
(I)(a)のフィルム構造体中の内部層として用いられる極性反応性基(官能化)ポリオレフィン層を含む少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層を提供する工程と、
(II)(b)の十分な耐化学性の値を有する積層接着剤組成物を提供する工程と、
(III)少なくとも1つの極性または非極性基材を提供する工程と、
(IV)積層接着剤組成物を内部層の表面の少なくとも一部分に塗布して、内部層と積層接着剤組成物フィルム構造体との組み合わせを形成する工程と、
(V)少なくとも1つの極性または非極性基材を、内部層上に存在する接着剤組成物と接触させる工程と、を含み、ここで、基材の表面の少なくとも一部分は、接着剤組成物と接触して、内部層に接着された基材との間に強力な結合を実現し、積層体を形成し得る。
表IIに記載されている樹脂調合物を有する3つの異なるフィルムを、5層共押出ラインを用いて押出した。実験室積層機(Labo Combi machine)を用いて、フィルムをポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)基材(12ミクロン厚)に積層し、コロナ処理されたフィルムの表面に3gの接着剤を塗布する前に、フィルムの側面の1つをコロナ処理した。次に、3gの汎用単一成分接着剤のADCOTE(登録商標)331は、コロナ処理されたフィルム表面に塗布された。
Amplify EAは、エチレンエチルアクリレート(EEA)コポリマーである。このコポリマーは、コポリマーの官能性を高めるために、約1%の無水マレイン酸(MAH)基でグラフト化し得る。EEA、EVAまたはEMAコポリマーなどのコポリマーは極性を有し、接着剤層と極性-極性(非反応性)相互作用を形成する傾向がある。しかしながら、MAHグラフトコポリマーのMAH-g-基部分は、接着剤中のいかなる過剰なポリオールとも共有結合を形成する傾向がある。
接着材料の耐化学性能を評価するためのさまざまな試験や方法が存在する。本明細書で用いられる一般的な試験には、上記の積層樹脂の調合を用いて作製された積層フィルムから構成された10×10cmの積層パウチにエタノールを満たされることが含まれる。この試験で用いられるエタノールで満たされる各パウチは、80℃のオーブンに3日間保管される。パウチの加熱は、エタノールによって積層フィルムの化学的浸食を加速させるために用いられる。上記の攻撃的な試験を用いてパウチを処理した後、パウチの積層体を結合強度分析にかけ、接着結合強度を決定する。
接着剤のグリーンタックボンド特性は、ASTM F904-98に記載されている手順に従って、Instron Tensile machineを用いて測定され得る。手順に従って、積層構造体の2つの側面を機械ジョーによって保持し、その後、積層構造体を一軸方向に延伸する。データは、各サンプルについて2回のサンプル測定を行うことによって得られ、次いで、データは平均値およびグラフィックスを報告するコンピュータを使用して分析される。グリーンタック特性は、積層構造体が積層プロセスを経て10分後に測定される。
Claims (12)
- フィルム構造体であって、
(a)少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層であって、前記フィルム構造体中の内部積層体層として用いられる極性反応性基ポリオレフィン層を含む、官能化フィルム層と、
(b)前記内部層の表面の少なくとも一部分に存在し、かつ接触する積層接着剤組成物と、を含み、
前記積層接着剤組成物の耐化学性の値は、積層体がテアリングの破損モードまたは非破損モードを伴う層間剥離試験にかけられる場合、少なくとも200g-f/inの測定される接着力に前記積層体が耐えるのに十分な結合強度である、フィルム構造体。 - 前記少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層は単層である、請求項1に記載のフィルム構造体。
- 前記少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層は、2つ以上の層の多層を含み、前記2つ以上の層のうち少なくとも1つが、極性反応性基ポリオレフィン層の内部層であり、前記2つ以上の層のうち少なくとも1つが、外部層である、請求項1に記載のフィルム構造体。
- 前記極性活性基ポリオレフィン層は、グラフト化エチレン極性コポリマー、非極性ポリエチレンとグラフト化エチレン極性コポリマーとの物理的配合物、エチレンビニルアセテート極性コポリマーとグラフト化エチレン極性コポリマーとの物理的配合物、およびグラフト化エチレンエチルアクリレート極性コポリマーとグラフト化エチレン極性コポリマーとの物理的配合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のフィルム構造体。
- 前記積層接着剤組成物は、主としてイソシアネート基を有する汎用の単一成分接着剤である、請求項1に記載のフィルム構造体。
- フィルム構造体を生産するためのプロセスであって、
(i)少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層を提供する工程であって、前記少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層が、前記フィルム構造体中の内部層として用いられる極性反応性基ポリオレフィン層である、工程と、
(ii)十分な耐化学性の値を有する積層接着剤組成物を提供する工程であって、前記積層接着剤組成物の前記耐化学性の値は、前記積層体がテアリングの破損モードまたは非破損モードを伴う層間剥離試験にかけられる場合、少なくとも200g-f/inの測定される接着力に前記積層体が耐えるのに十分な結合強度である、工程と、
(iii)前記積層接着剤組成物を前記内部層の表面の少なくとも一部分に塗布して、前記内部層と前記積層接着剤組成物との組み合わせフィルム構造体を形成する工程と、を含む、プロセス。 - 積層体であって、
(A)少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層であって、前記積層体中の内部層として用いられる極性反応性基ポリオレフィン層である、官能化フィルム層と、
(B)前記内部層の表面の少なくとも一部分に存在し、かつ接触する積層接着剤組成物であって、前記積層接着剤組成物の耐化学性の値は、前記積層体がテアリングの破損モードまたは破損モードを伴う層間剥離試験にかけられる場合、少なくとも200g-f/inの測定される接着力に前記積層体が耐えるのに十分な結合強度である、積層接着剤組成物と、
(C)少なくとも1つの極性または非極性基材であって、前記基材表面のうち少なくとも一部分は、前記接着剤組成物と接触する、極性または非極性基材と、を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層と前記少なくとも1つの極性または非極性基材との間に配置される前記積層接着剤組成物によって、前記少なくとも1つの極性または非極性基材に結合された前記少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層を含む積層体が形成される、積層体。 - 前記極性基材は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、二軸延伸ポリアミド、金属化ポリエチレンテレフタレート、金属化二軸延伸ポリアミド、およびアルミニウム箔からなる群から選択され、前記非極性基材は、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ならびに二軸延伸ポリアミド、および無延伸ポリプロピレンからなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載の積層体。
- 請求項7に記載の積層体から作製されるパウチ、サッシェ、自立型パウチまたは他の袋部材を含む、積層物品。
- 少なくとも第1の層および少なくとも第2の層を含む積層体を生産するためのプロセスであって、
(I)前記少なくとも第1のフィルム層を形成する少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層を提供する工程であって、前記少なくとも1つの官能化フィルム層が、前記積層体中の内部層として用いられる極性反応性基ポリオレフィン層である、工程と、
(II)前記少なくとも第2のフィルム層を形成する少なくとも1つの極性または非極性フィルム基材を提供する工程と、
(III)十分な耐化学性の値を有する積層接着剤組成物を提供する工程であって、前記積層接着剤組成物の前記耐化学性の値は、前記積層体がテアリングの破損モードまたは非破損モードを伴う層間剥離試験にかけられる場合、少なくとも200g-f/inの測定される接着力に前記積層体が耐えるのに十分な結合強度である、工程と、
(IV)前記積層接着剤組成物を前記少なくとも第1のフィルム層の表面の少なくとも一部分に塗布して、内部フィルム層と積層接着剤組成物との組み合わせを形成する工程と、
(V)前記接着剤組成物が前記第1のフィルム層と前記第の2フィルム層との間に配置されるように、前記少なくとも1つの極性または非極性フィルム基材を前記内部フィルム層の前記表面の前記少なくとも一部分に存在する前記接着剤組成物と接触させる工程と、を含み、前記フィルム基材の表面の少なくとも一部分が、前記接着剤組成物と接触して、前記内部フィルム層と前記フィルム基材との間に結合をもたらし、積層体を形成する、プロセス。 - 前記少なくとも第2のフィルム基材層は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、二軸延伸ポリアミド、金属化ポリエチレンテレフタレート、金属化二軸延伸ポリプロピレン、アルミニウム箔、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、二軸延伸ポリプロピレン、および無延伸ポリプロピレンからなる群から選択される、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項10に記載のプロセスによって作製されるパウチ、サッシェ、自立型パウチ、または他の袋部材。
