前記ノズル本体内部に配置され、前記入力ヘッドに対して下流側に延びる導電性材料で作られた送液管であって、前記送液管は、前記送液管を通して液体を導くための圧縮液体供給部に接続可能であり、
前記ノズル本体および送液管は、前記ノズル本体内に環状噴霧ガス通路を画成し、
前記入力ヘッドは、高電圧ケーブル入力部を有し、前記高電圧ケーブル入力部は、前記送液管と電気的に接触し、前記送液管および前記送液管を通して誘導される液体を帯電させるための高圧電源に接続し、
前記入力ヘッドは、圧縮ガス入力部を有し、前記圧縮ガス入力部は、前記環状噴霧ガス通路と連通し、圧縮噴霧ガスを前記環状噴霧ガス通路を通して導くための圧縮噴霧ガス供給部に接続する、送液管と、
前記細長いノズル本体の下流端部に装着された外部混合クラスタヘッド散布ノズルアセンブリであって、
前記クラスタヘッド散布ノズルアセンブリは、周方向に離間された複数の散布器先端部を有するクラスタヘッド本体を含み、
前記散布器先端部は、各々が、液体流路を有し、前記液体流路は、上流端部と、下流放出オリフィスとを備え、前記上流端部は、前記送液管から帯電液体を受ける為に前記送液管と連通し、前記下流放出オリフィスは、前記クラスタヘッド散布ノズルアセンブリから液体散布を放出し、
前記クラスタヘッド本体は、各散布器先端部の周りに空気通路を画成し、前記散布器先端部は、前記クラスタヘッド本体の外部の各散布器先端部から放出する液体を霧化する為に前記散布器先端部の放出オリフィスの周りに噴霧ガスを導く前記環状噴霧ガス通路と連通する、外部混合クラスタヘッド散布ノズルアセンブリと、
を備える、静電式散布器。 - 前記細長いノズル本体および前記クラスタヘッド本体は、非電気伝導材料から作られる、請求項1に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記散布器先端部は、各々が、導電性材料で作られ、前記帯電した送液管と各散布器先端部との間に静電容量が形成されて、前記散布器先端部に誘導された液体の静電荷を高めるように、前記帯電した送液管に対して離間されて下流側に配置される、請求項3に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記散布器先端部は、前記クラスタヘッド本体の各散布器先端部受容開口に配置され、前記クラスタヘッド本体の中心軸に対して外側に下流方向に配向される、請求項1に記載の静電式散布器。
- クラスタヘッド本体は、中央液体マニホールドと、前記液体マニホールドの下流端部を取り囲むように配置されたノズルキャップとを含み、前記液体マニホールドは、前記帯電した送液管と前記散布器先端部のそれぞれとの間にそれぞれ連通する複数の周方向に離間された液体通路で形成され、前記ノズルキャップは、複数の周方向に離間された開口部で形成され、前記開口部は、各々が、前記散布器先端部のそれぞれに対して取り囲むように配置され、前記環状噴霧ガス通路と連通し、前記環状噴霧ガス通路からの噴霧ガスをそれぞれの散布器先端部の周りに導き、前記散布器先端部から放出する液体を霧化する、請求項1に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記散布器先端部は、各々が、前記散布器先端部から放出される液体を霧化するために径方向支持フランジを通して噴霧ガスの流れを可能にしながら、周方向に離間されたノズルキャップ開口部のそれぞれの領域に散布器先端部を支持する為のガス通路で形成された外側に延びる径方向フランジを有する、請求項5に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記散布器先端部は、各々が、円筒状のハブと、内側にテーパが付けられた前方部分と、散布器先端部放出オリフィスを画成する比較的小さい直径の前方ノーズ位置とを有する、請求項6に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記各散布器先端部の前記径方向フランジと、前記散布器先端部が装着されているノズルキャップ開口部との間に入れられた非金属シールキャップを含む、請求項6に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記液体マニホールドは、下流方向に外側に拡張する円錐台形状を有する、請求項5に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記細長いノズル本体は、下流の内側に誘導されたリップで形成され、前記クラスタヘッド本体は、前記環状リップに係合して前記細長いノズル本体内に装着される、請求項1に記載の静電式散布器。

前記入力ヘッドは、高電圧ケーブル入力部を有し、前記高電圧ケーブル入力部は、前記送液管と電気的に接触し、前記送液管と前記送液管を通して誘導される液体とを帯電させる為の高電圧電源に接続され、
前記入力ヘッドは、圧縮ガス入口部を有し、前記圧縮ガス入口部は、前記環状噴霧ガス通路と連通し、圧縮噴霧ガスを前記環状噴霧ガス通路を通して導くための圧縮噴霧ガス供給部に接続する、送液管と、
前記細長いノズル本体の下流端部に装着された内部混合散布ノズルアセンブリであって、
前記散布ノズルアセンブリは、ドーム構成の散布器先端部を含み、前記散布器先端部は、前記細長いノズル本体の下流端部に装着され、前記下流端部は、前記散布器先端部の放出オリフィスと連通する前記送液管の下流側に混合チャンバを画成し、
前記送液管は、前記送液管を通って誘導される帯電液体を加速するための縮径液体通路を有する端部を有し、
前記端部は、前記送液管の径方向外側に帯電液体流ストリームを前記混合チャンバ内に導く為に複数の交差スロットを有する、内部混合散布ノズルアセンブリと、
前記ノズル本体の環状噴霧ガス通路と連通する、内側に収束するガス通路を画成するために、前記送液管に対して取り囲むように前記散布器先端部の上流側に装着された空気ガイドであって、前記交差スロットから放出する帯電液体の相互作用および噴霧と前記散布器先端部の放出オリフィスからの後の放出の為の前記散布器先端部の混合チャンバへの前記噴霧液体の方向のために、前記交差スロットを直接横切る送液管端部セクションおよび前記空気ガイドの間に画成された前記送液管を取り囲む環状ガス通路を通って前記環状噴霧ガス通路から圧縮噴霧ガスを導き収束させる、空気ガイドと、

- 散布器先端部混合チャンバは、下流方向に内側に収束するドーム形状を有する、請求項12に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記散布器先端部は、前記送液管と整列した中央放出オリフィスを有する、請求項14に記載の静電式散布器。
- 前記散布器先端部が、その下流端部に隣接して前記細長いノズル本体の縮径環状リップに対して支持された外径方向フランジを有する、請求項12に記載の静電式散布器。
