Claims (33)
- 複数の相互接続した中空を含む強固な生体適合性ポリマーを含み、
前記中空の実質的全ては球状であり、前記中空の実質的全ては、180μm~600μmの直径を有し、さらに、容積の50%未満は、前記生体適合性ポリマーを含む、インプラントに適した材料。 - 前記多孔性部分の容積の50%~15%は前記生体適合性ポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 容積で前記中空は315μm~425μmの直径を有する、請求項1に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 前記中空は多孔性部分であり、少なくとも20Mpaの圧力に耐えることができる、請求項1に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 前記中空のそれぞれは、実質的に円形の開口部によって複数の隣接する中空のそれぞれと相互接続する、請求項1に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 前記中空のそれぞれは、生物活性剤を充填され、前記生物活性剤は、生物学的過程によって移植後に置換することができる、請求項1に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 前記生物活性剤は、バイオグラスを含む、請求項1に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 固体の生体適合性ポリマーを含む固体部分、及び
複数の相互接続した中空を含む強固な生体適合性ポリマーを含む多孔性部分を含み、実質的に全ての前記中空は、球状であり、容積で実質的に全ての前記中空は、180μm~600μmの直径を有し、さらに前記多孔部分の容積の50%未満が前記生体適合性ポリマーを含む、インプラントに適した材料。 - 容積で実質的に全ての前記中空は315μm~425μmの直径を有する、請求項8に記載のインプラントに適した材料。
- 強固な生体適合性ポリマー、
前記ポリマーに浮遊し、部分的に平らな球状粒子から本質的になる散逸性材料を含む、インプラントを製造するための中間材料。 - 容積で実質的に全ての前記球状粒子は180μm~600μmの直径を有する、請求項10に記載の中間材料。
- 容積で実質的に全ての前記球状粒子は315μm~425μmの直径を有する、請求項11に記載の中間材料。
- 前記散逸性材料の容積は50%~85%である、請求項10に記載の中間材料。
- 前記球状粒子は部分的に平らである、請求項10に記載の中間材料。
- 前記散逸性材料は水に分解することができる、請求項10に記載の中間材料。
- 前記散逸性材料はNaClである、請求項10に記載の中間材料。
- 前記散逸性材料は生物活性である、請求項10に記載の中間材料。
- 多孔性インプラントを製造する方法であって、
散逸性材料の非弾性粒子の量を型に置くこと、
部分的に平らな前記非弾性粒子に第1の機械的圧力をかけながら、前記型を第1の温度に加熱すること、
前記部分的に平らな粒子と一緒に、前記型に生体適合性ポリマーを置くこと、
第2の機械的圧力をかけながら、前記型を第2の温度に加熱して、前記生体適合性ポリマー及び前記部分的に平らな粒子の混合物を形成すること、
前記部分的に平らな粒子を前記混合物から取り除くことを含み、
前記ポリマーに対して前記部分的に平らな粒子の量は、前記混合物から前記部分的に平らな粒子を取り除くことで、前記ポリマー及び複数の相互接続した中空を含む得られる多孔性材料が残るように存在する、方法。 - 散逸性材料の前記粒子は実質的に球状である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物が硬化するまで、第3の機械的圧力下で、前記型を冷却することをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、ポリアリールエーテルケトンである、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリアリールエーテルケトンは、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)である、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記球状粒子の量は、前記ポリマーと反応しない溶媒に分解することができ、前記取り除くステップは、前記溶媒の浴において前記混合物を洗浄することを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記球状粒子の量は、食卓塩を含み、前記溶媒は水である、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の圧力は前記第1の圧力よりも大きい、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の圧力より大きい第3の圧力をかけながら、前記混合物を冷却することをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
