マイクロ波エネルギー及び/または無線周波数エネルギーを伝送するための同軸給電ケーブルであって、内側導体、外側導体、ならびに前記内側導体及び前記外側導体を分離させる誘電材料を有する、前記同軸給電ケーブル、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー及び/または前記無線周波数エネルギーを受信するために前記同軸給電ケーブルの遠位端に配置された器具先端部、及び
流体を前記器具先端部に運ぶための流体チャネル
を含み、
前記器具先端部は、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー及び/または前記無線周波数エネルギーを生体組織に供給するためのエネルギー供給構造、及び
前記流体チャネルと流体連通している中空針であって、前記流体チャネルから治療部位に前記流体を供給するように配置されている前記中空針、を含み、
前記エネルギー供給構造は、前記マイクロ波エネルギーを生体組織に放射するための放射構造を含み、

前記中空針の一部は前記第1のチャネルで受け入れられ、
前記第1のチャネルは、前記第1のチャネルの近位端に位置するフレア部分を含み、前記フレア部分は、前記第1のチャネルの前記近位端に向かって増加する断面積を有する、請求項8に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記グラウンド要素の前記本体は、前記本体を通って延びる第2のチャネルを含み、前記第2の接続面は、前記第2のチャネルに形成され、
前記外側導体の遠位部分は、前記第2のチャネルで受け入れられる、請求項8または9に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記中空針を前記第1の接続面と接触するように誘導するために前記グラウンド要素の近位端に配置された第1の絶縁スリーブ、及び
前記中空針を前記放射構造から絶縁するために、前記グラウンド要素の遠位端に配置された第2の絶縁スリーブをさらに含む、請求項8~10のいずれか一項に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記中空針が前記器具先端部に対して、
前記中空針の遠位端が前記器具先端部の遠位端から後退する格納位置と、
前記中空針の前記遠位端が前記器具先端部の前記遠位端を超えて突き出ている露出位置との間で移動可能である、先行請求項のいずれかに記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記中空針が前記外側導体に対してスライド可能であり、
前記中空針と前記外側導体との間の電気的接続がスライド式境界面を通過する、請求項12に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記器具先端部がその遠位端に開口部を含み、
前記中空針が前記格納位置にあるとき、前記中空針の前記遠位端は前記器具先端部に位置し、前記開口部から突き出ておらず、
前記中空針が前記露出位置にあるとき、前記中空針の前記遠位端は前記開口部から突き出ている、請求項12または13に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記露出位置にあるとき、前記中空針が、前記中空針の遠位端から離れた前記マイクロ波エネルギーの半波長の整数倍に対応する前記中空針の位置で前記外側導体に電気的に接続される、請求項12~14のいずれか一項に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記器具先端部が誘電体をさらに含み、前記放射構造が前記誘電体の中及び/または前記誘電体の上に形成される、先行請求項のいずれかに記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記放射構造が、前記内側導体に電気的に接続された第1の電極と、前記外側導体に電気的に接続された第2の電極とを含み、
前記第1の電極及び前記第2の電極が前記誘電体の外面に露出されている、請求項16に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記誘電体が、前記第1の電極が配置される第1の溝と、前記第2の電極が配置される第2の溝とを含む、請求項16または17に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記誘電体は、前記同軸ケーブルと整列する、長手方向軸を有する円筒形であり、
前記誘電体がその内部に形成される、長手方向に延びるチャネルを備え、
前記中空針の一部分は、前記長手方向に延びるチャネルに受け入れられる、請求項16~18のいずれか一項に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記第1の電極が、前記誘電体の周囲に配置された長手方向に延びる導電性フィンガーの第1のセットを含む、請求項19に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記第2の電極は、前記誘電体の前記周囲に配置された長手方向に延びる導電性フィンガーの第2のセットを含み、
前記導電性フィンガーの第1のセットと第2のセットは、前記誘電体の前記周囲に互いにかみ合うように配置されている、請求項20に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記器具先端部が、前記外側導体に電気的に接続され、前記同軸給電ケーブルと前記放射構造との間の電気的接続を取り囲む保護導体をさらに備える、先行請求項のいずれかに記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記器具先端部の遠位端は、標的領域に圧力スポットを適用するのに適した滑らかな輪郭の様式で成形されている、先行請求項のいずれかに記載の電気外科器具。
- 生体組織を治療するための電気外科システムであって、装置は、
マイクロ波エネルギー及び/または無線周波数エネルギーを供給するように配置される電気外科用発電機と、
前記電気外科用発電機からの前記マイクロ波エネルギー及び/または前記無線周波数エネルギーを受信するように接続される先行請求項のいずれかに記載の電気外科器具と、
を含む、前記電気外科システム。 - 患者の体内へ挿入するための可撓性挿入コードを有する手術用スコーピングデバイスをさらに備え、
前記可撓性挿入コードはその長さに沿って延びる器具チャネルを有し、
前記電気外科器具は前記器具チャネルの中に適合して入る寸法にされる、請求項24に記載の電気外科システム。
