Claims (5)
- 筒状の絶縁体と、
前記絶縁体の端部に配置される金属製の第1部を含む端子金具と、を備え、
前記端子金具は、点火コイルが電気的に接続される接続部を含む金属製の第2部と、
前記第1部および前記第2部の一方に設けられためねじと、
前記第1部および前記第2部の他方に設けられた、前記めねじに接合するおねじと、を含むスパークプラグであって、
前記めねじ及び前記おねじの少なくとも一方は、前記めねじと前記おねじとのはめあいにおける前記おねじの外径が、前記はめあいにおける前記めねじの谷の径より大きい部分があるテーパねじであるスパークプラグ。 - 前記はめあいにおいて、前記おねじ及び前記めねじの少なくとも一方は塑性変形している請求項1記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記第2部を構成する金属のイオン化傾向は、前記第1部を構成する金属のイオン化傾向より小さい請求項1又は2に記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記第2部は、前記第2部の外周に設けられた凹みと、
前記凹みに対応して塑性変形によって前記第1部に向かって隆起した凸部と、を備え、
前記凸部は、前記第1部に密着している請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記第2部の外面には、前記めねじ及び前記おねじの軸を中心とする回転方向を向く受け面が設けられている請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。
