- 赤のスペクトルがピークの光を発する第1副画素と、緑のスペクトルがピークの光を発する第2副画素と、青のスペクトルがピークの光を発する第3副画素と、を有する画素を備え、
前記第1副画素、前記第2副画素及び前記第3副画素は、無機発光ダイオードであり、
前記第1副画素が所定以下の低輝度範囲内の発光強度で発光する場合、前記第1副画素の発光強度を基準として予め定められた比率で前記第2副画素の発光強度が強められる、
表示装置。 - 前記低輝度範囲内で、前記第1副画素が相対的に低輝度で発光する場合、前記第1副画素が相対的に高輝度で発光する場合に比して第1補正比率が大きく、
前記第1補正比率は、前記第1副画素の発光強度に対する、前記画素で再現される赤を調整するための前記第2副画素の発光強度の比率である、
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第2副画素は、前記表示装置に対する入力信号が示す緑の階調値と、前記入力信号が示す赤の階調値と前記第1補正比率とに基づいた追加階調値と、を足し合わせた値に対応した発光強度で発光する、
請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第2副画素が相対的に低輝度で発光する場合、前記第2副画素が相対的に高輝度で発光する場合に比して第2補正比率が大きく、
前記第2副画素が相対的に高輝度で発光する場合、前記第2副画素が相対的に低輝度で発光する場合に比して第3補正比率が大きく、
前記第2補正比率は、前記第2副画素の発光強度に対する、前記画素で再現される緑を調整するための前記第1副画素の発光強度の比率であり、
前記第3補正比率は、前記第2副画素の発光強度に対する、前記画素で再現される緑を調整するための前記第3副画素の発光強度の比率である、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1副画素は、前記表示装置に対する入力信号が示す赤の階調値と、前記入力信号が示す緑の階調値と前記第2補正比率とに基づいた追加階調値と、を足し合わせた値に対応した発光強度で発光し、
前記第3副画素は、前記表示装置に対する入力信号が示す青の階調値と、前記入力信号が示す緑の階調値と前記第3補正比率とに基づいた追加階調値と、を足し合わせた値に対応した発光強度で発光する、
請求項4に記載の表示装置。 - 緑の出力階調性は、赤の出力階調性及び青の出力階調性よりも多い、
