Claims (16)

第1のセンサおよび第2のセンサであって、各々のセンサが第1の電極および第2の電極を備え、前記第1のセンサが、前記第1の装置本体要素に配置され、前記第2のセンサが、前記第2の装置本体要素に配置され、前記第1のセンサが、患者の皮膚の第1の場所に配置されるように構成され、前記第2のセンサが、前記患者の皮膚の第2の場所に同時に配置されるように構成され、前記第1の場所および前記第2の場所が、前記患者の身体に対し左右対称であり、前記第1のセンサおよび前記第2のセンサの少なくともいずれかが、移動可能なセンサともう一方のセンサとの間の角度が変化し得るように移動可能である、第1のセンサおよび第2のセンサと、
前記第1の装置本体要素と前記第2の装置本体要素との間に配置され、前記第1のセンサと前記第2のセンサとの間の分離距離が変更され得るように構成されたヒンジと、
前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極に電気的に結合し、かつ前記第1のセンサの前記第1の電極と第2の電極との間の第1の電気特性を測定し、前記第2のセンサの前記第1の電極と第2の電極との間の第2の電気特性を測定して、前記第1および第2の電気特性に関する情報を提供するように構成された、回路と、
前記回路に電気的に結合し、かつ前記情報を受信するように構成された、プロセッサと、
非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体であって、前記プロセッサに電気的に結合し、前記非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体上に記憶された命令を含み、前記命令が、前記プロセッサ上で実行されたときに、
前記第1の電気特性を第1の表皮下水分(SEM)値に変換し、前記第2の電気特性を第2のSEM値に変換するステップ、および
前記第1のSEM値と前記第2のSEM値との間の差を決定するステップ、を行う、非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体と、を備える、装置。 - 前記命令が、前記差が所定の閾値を上回る場合に、信号を提供するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1および第2のセンサが前記患者の皮膚と適切に接触しているときを検出するように構成された、スイッチング素子を更に備え、
前記回路が、前記スイッチング素子に電気的に結合し、かつ前記第1および第2のセンサが前記患者の皮膚と適切に接触しているときに、前記第1および第2の電気特性を測定するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の電極と第2の電極との間に隙間を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の電気特性が、抵抗、静電容量、インダクタンス、インピーダンス、および磁気抵抗からなる群から選択される電気成分のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置本体が、剛性であり、前記2つのセンサを互いに対して固定分離距離および固定配向で維持する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置本体が、可撓性であり、前記2つのセンサを互いに対して傾斜して配向することができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極が、隙間によって隔てられている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記2つのセンサの各々が、隙間によって隔てられた複数の電極を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記複数の電極が、選択的に作動して、仮想リング電極および仮想中心電極を形成する、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の電気特性が、抵抗、静電容量、インダクタンス、インピーダンス、および磁気抵抗からなる群から選択される電気的特徴のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、前記2つのセンサのうちの一方に近接して位置付けられた接触センサを更に備え、前記第1の電気特性および前記第2の電気特性の測定が、前記接触センサの起動によってトリガされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記接触センサが圧力センサまたは光センサである、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記命令が、前記差が所定の閾値を上回る場合に、前記第1および第2の場所のうちの一方で組織が損傷していることの表示を提供するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記命令が、
前記第1のSEM値および第2のSEM値のうちのより大きい方を決定するステップと、
前記差が所定の閾値を超過する場合に、前記より大きいSEM値と関連付けられる場所で組織が損傷していることの表示を提供するステップと、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の電気特性が、抵抗、静電容量、インダクタンス、インピーダンス、および磁気抵抗からなる群から選択される電気成分のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
