Abstract
Description

Saint−GobainからのタイプF970SHの単層研磨繊維ディスクを、蒸着によって薄いパリレンHTコーティングでコーティングした。パリレンHTコーティングの下のF970SHディスクは、メイクコートである36グリットサイズを有するセラミック粒子の層を介して付着させた基材材料としての繊維バッキングを含有した。F970SHディスクは、研磨粒子を固定するためのメイクコートの上部のサイズコート、および研磨粒子をさらに含有した。
Claims (15)
- 研磨物品であって、
基材と、
接着材料によって前記基材に結合している研磨粒子と、
前記少なくとも1種の接着材料の少なくとも一部分の上に重なるコーティングであって、前記コーティングが、ポリ(p−キシリレン)ポリマーを含む、コーティングと、を含む、研磨物品。 - 前記研磨粒子が、前記基材の上に重なる単層に配置されている、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記研磨粒子が、前記接着材料の平均厚さを超える平均粒径(D50)を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記接着材料が、第1の層と、前記第1の層の上に重なる第2の層とを含む、複数の層を備える、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記基材が、金属、金属合金、ポリマー、織布材料、不織布材料、繊維性材料、紙、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料を含む、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記接着材料が、有機材料、無機材料、またはこれらの組み合わせから選択される材料を含む、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記接着材料が、金属、金属合金、セラミック、サーメット、ガラス、複合素材、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む材料を含む、請求項6に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記接着材料が、ポリエステル、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン、ポリアミド、ポリアクリレート、ポリメタクリレート、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリエチレン、ポリシロキサン、シリコーン、酢酸セルロース、ニトロセルロース、天然ゴム、デンプン、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む材料を含む、請求項6に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記コーティングが、パリレンN、パリレンC、パリレンD、パリレンHT、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記コーティングが、本質的にパリレンHTからなる、請求項9に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記コーティングが、少なくとも0.5マイクロメートルかつ25マイクロメートル以下の平均厚さを備える、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記研磨粒子が、酸化物、炭化物、窒化物、ホウ化物、酸窒化物、酸ホウ化物、ダイヤモンド、またはこれらの任意の組み合わせの群から選択される材料を含む、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 前記基材が、第1の表面と、第2の表面と、前記第1の表面と第2の表面との間に延在する側面と、を備え、前記第1の表面が、平面状の表面であり、前記研磨粒子が、前記接着材料によって前記第1の表面に結合されている、請求項1、2、または3に記載の研磨物品。
- 研磨物品を形成する方法であって、
接着材料によって前記基材の表面に結合されている研磨粒子を有する基材を提供することと、
蒸着によってコーティングを適用することと、を含み、前記コーティングが、前記接着材料および研磨粒子の上に重なり、前記コーティングが、ポリ(p−キシリレン)ポリマーを含む、方法。 - 前記ポリ(p−キシリレン)ポリマーが、パリレンHTを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
