Abstract
Description
(a) 少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーを含有する油相を準備する油相準備ステップであって、前記油相は以下のことのうち少なくとも1つを満たす、すなわち、
(i) 前記少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーは、最大でも1,000g/モルの分子量を有する少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンモノマーを含む、
(ii) 前記油相は、さらに、前記少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーを硬化し得る又は硬化するよう選択した非アミノ架橋剤を含有し、前記非アミノ架橋剤は、最大でも1,000g/モルの分子量を有するものである、並びに

該油相準備ステップと、
(b) 前記油相に対して前処理済み油相を得る前処理持続時間を掛けさせた後、前記前処理済み油相を、水を含有する含水相で前処理済み水中油型エマルションを得るよう乳化するステップと、
(c) 前記哺乳類動物体毛の個別体毛の外表面又は前記織物繊維の外表面に前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションを塗布するステップと、
(d) 前記個別体毛又は前記織物繊維の前記外表面上に少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜を形成するよう、前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションにおける前記プレポリマーの部分的縮合硬化が生じた後に、随意的に前記体毛又は織物繊維をすすぎ洗い(リンス)液体で洗浄して過剰な前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションを除去するステップと、
(e) 前記少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜上に、中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料で形成した複数のポリマー粒子を分散させて含む含水分散液を塗布し、前記アミノシリコーン被膜の外表面に接着するオーバーレイポリマー層を生ずるようにするステップと、また随意的に
(f) 前記体毛又は織物繊維をすすぎ洗い(リンス)液体で洗浄して過剰な前記含水分散液を除去するステップと
を備える。

(b) 前記油相を前処理持続時間にわたり前処理して前処理済み油相を得る前処理ステップであって、前記前処理済み油相は、前記前処理済み油相の重量に対して水を、少なくとも0.01重量%、少なくとも0.05重量%、少なくとも0.1重量%、少なくとも0.15重量%、少なくとも0.2重量%、少なくとも0.25重量%、少なくとも0.5重量%、少なくとも0.75重量%、若しくは少なくとも1重量%含有するものである、
該前処理ステップと、
(c) 前記前処理済み油相を、水を含有する含水相で前処理済み水中油型エマルションを得るよう乳化するステップと、
(d) 前記哺乳類動物体毛の個別体毛の外表面又は前記織物繊維の外表面に前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションを塗布するステップと、
(e) 前記個別体毛又は前記織物繊維の前記外表面上に少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜を形成するよう、前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションにおける前記プレポリマーの部分的縮合硬化が生じた後に、随意的に前記体毛又は織物繊維をすすぎ洗い(リンス)液体で洗浄して過剰な前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションを除去するステップと、
(f) 前記少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜上に、中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料で形成した複数のポリマー粒子を分散させて含む含水分散液を塗布し、前記アミノシリコーン被膜の外表面に接着するオーバーレイポリマー層を生ずるようにするステップと、また随意的に
(g) 前記体毛又は織物繊維をすすぎ洗い(リンス)液体で洗浄して過剰な前記含水分散液を除去するステップと
を備える。

(iii) 前記油相は、さらに、前記プレポリマーを硬化し得る又は硬化するよう選択した非アミノ架橋剤を含有し、前記非アミノ架橋剤は、最大でも1,000g/モルの分子量を有するものであり、前記プレポリマー及び前記架橋剤のうち少なくとも1つは、水リッチ又は前処理済み反応剤である、及び

(f) 前記少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜上に、中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料で形成した複数のポリマー粒子を分散させて含む含水分散液を塗布し、前記アミノシリコーン被膜の外表面に接着するオーバーレイポリマー層を生ずるようにするステップと、また随意的に
(g) 前記体毛又は織物繊維をすすぎ洗い(リンス)液体で洗浄して過剰な前記含水分散液を除去するステップと
を備える。

(b) 含水分散液を収容する含水分散液隔室であって、前記含水分散液は、
(i) 含水媒体、また
(ii) 前記含水媒体内に配置された中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料を含む又はそれで作成されるサブミクロン的粒子であって、前記サブミクロン的粒子の少なくとも一部分の各々が、随意的に少なくとも1つの顔料粒子を含有し、前記少なくとも1つの顔料粒子は、随意的に前記ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に包み込まれる、該サブミクロン的粒子、

(c) 第2油相を収容する随意的な第2油相隔室であって、前記第2油相は、
(i) アミノシリコーンオイル又は前記アミノシリコーンオイル及び非アミノシリコーンオイル又は前記非アミノシリコーンオイルのうち少なくとも一方、また随意的に
(ii) 固体で疎水性の反応性無機フィラー、またさらに随意的に

前処理方法を詳述する前に、第1被膜を形成するための反応性縮合硬化アミノシリコーンを使用する革新的なコーティング又は着色プロセスの総覧を図1につき行う。簡明にするためプロセスの種々の相(フェーズ)は単離した織物スレッドの単一サイドで示すが、ヤーン又は生地のような他の形態における織物繊維にも同様に適用でき、この場合、図示の形状は、織成又は不織性の生地における垂直断面の輪郭に対応する。織物スレッド10の外表面上にアミノシリコーン被膜(「AS被膜」)を形成するには駆動力を必要とする。理論によって制限するつもりはないが、本発明者らは、本発明の種々の方法において、エマルション内から反応性相にある液滴12を含むアミノシリコーンをスレッド表面に送給する初期駆動力としては、スレッドの外表面(等電性pH以上)上に配置される負帯電した官能基(例えば、ヒドロキシル基、カルボキシル基)と、反応性相の液滴を含むアミノシリコーン内における正帯電した官能性アミン基との間における静電気引力がある、又は主にあると考える。この静電気引力を図1Aに概略的に示す。このような駆動は、濡らす液体及び濡れ表面の表面エネルギーギャップによって算定することもできる。基板の表面エネルギーよりも高くない表面エネルギーを有するアミノシリコーンは有利であると見なされる。例えば、ポリエステル繊維は、一般的に40〜45ミリニュートン/メートル(mN/m;dyn/cmとも称される)の表面エネルギーを有し、またコットン繊維の表面エネルギーは通常70〜75mN/mの範囲内にある。本発明教示のアミノシリコーンは24〜28mN/mの表面エネルギーを有し、したがって、アミノシリコーンにより織物繊維が濡れることを可能にする。

以下において、文脈からそうでないと明示しない限り、油相又は反応性油相(及び同様な変化形)は、本発明教示により前処理した反応性油相を包含する又はそれに関連する。同様に、(反応性)アミノシリコーン水中油型エマルションは、その油相が本発明教示により前処理されたものであるエマルションを包含する又はそれに関連する。

アミノシリコーン層の縮合硬化前に種々のシリコーンをベースとする分子は、必然的に加水分解を受ける。本発明者らは、アミノシリコーン層の縮合硬化速度は、この加水分解の程度によって大きな影響を受ける又は制御されることさえあり、また加水分解は、とくに、織物繊維の外表面に最も近接する塗膜領域において、ASコーティングの薄さ(代表的には0.5マイクロメートルのオーダー)に係わらず、拡散制御され(すなわち、オーバーレイの塗膜があればこのオーバーレイ塗膜を経由する水/湿度の拡散によって制限され)る、ということを発見した。織物繊維表面に最も近接する塗膜領域における不完全な硬化は着色永続性をはっきりと損なうことができ、機械的な剪断力、牽引力又は他の力が繊維に加わるとき、塗膜と繊維との間の脆弱な結合は断裂又は損なわれて、劣化及び塗膜の織物繊維からの少なくとも部分的分離に至る、と本発明者らは考える。さらにより重要なことに、このような不完全硬化は、洗濯洗剤、織物シャンプー、石鹸、及びアニオン性及び/又は非イオン性界面活性剤を含む他の材料がAS塗膜経由で織物繊維表面に介入し、また塗膜における欠陥部経由で繊維表面に達し、繊維表面のアニオン性官能基と張り合い、これにより界面における織物繊維とAS塗膜との間の結合(「脱脂」作用)を脆弱化する。特に織物繊維-AS界面における縮合硬化反応の全体的(/拡散制限を含む)緩慢な反応速度論に起因して、この劣化「窓」は潜在的に初期塗膜形成後の1週間にわたり利用可能であり得る。

以下の実施例で使用した材料を表1に挙げる。報告した特性は対応の供給者によって提供される、又はルーチン分析方法によって評価される製品データから検索又は推定された。そうでないと明記しない限り、すべての材料は最高の利用可能純度レベルで購入した。以下の表において、AAはアクリル酸(Acrylic acid)を表し、ANはアミン価(Amine Number)を表し、EAAはエチレンアクリル酸(Ethylene Acrylic Acid)を表し、N/Aは情報が無効であり、PDMSはポリジメチルシロキサンを表し、2-SiOH及び3+SiOHは、プレポリマーがそれぞれ分子あたり2つ、3つ又はそれ以上の加水分解性反応基及び/又はシラノール基を有することを意味し、またポリマーに関連して使用されるときの分子量(MW)は重量平均分子量に言及する。これら材料の供給者に関して、BASFはBASFコーポレーションを表し、Dowは米国ダウ・ケミカル・カンパニーを表し、Evonikは独国エヴォニク・リソース・エフィシェンシーGmbHを表し、Gelestは米国ゲレスト・インコーポレイテッドを表し、Geneseeは米国ジェネシー・ポリマー・コーポレーションを表し、Heubachはインド国ヒューバッハ・カラーPvt.を表し、Momentiveは米国モメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ社を表し、Shin Etsuは日本国信越化学工業株式会社を表し、Sigma-Aldrichは米国シグマ-アルドリッチ・コーポレーションを表し、またUnivarは英国ユニバールBVを表す。
以下の実施例で使用される機材は初出で詳述する。そうでないと明記しない限り同一装置は最初に記述する機器に言及する。
この実施例において、毛髪コーティング組成物の成分における水含有量の寄与を研究した。上述した記載で説明したように、縮合硬化可能アミノシリコーンエマルションの反応性相における僅かな量に水はアミノシリコーンプレポリマーの加水分解可能部分の加水分解速度をトリガ又は向上させることができ、これにより結果として生ずるシラノール部分の縮合硬化を増大させる、と考えられる。
第1段階において、すべての反応剤を乾燥した。反応性フィラーのような固体反応剤は、乾燥及びオーブン(イスラエル国MRC社製機械的対流オーブンDFO-240N)内に150℃で24時間にわたり乾燥した。液体反応剤は、約4オングストロームの均一細孔を有する多孔質シリカ分子篩を用いて乾燥し、水の存在を最小水分量まで減少させた。使用前には、分子篩をセラミックオーブン(リトアニアのスノール社製SNOL 30/1300 LSF01)内において350℃の温度で3時間にわたり乾燥し、乾性アルゴン雰囲気下の乾燥機内で室温(RT、約23℃)に冷やし戻すことができるようにする。乾燥すべき材料は適切な容積の容器内に配置し、この容器に乾燥した分子篩を追加し、乾燥分子篩は材料と組み合わせたとき、容積の約2/3を占めるようにした。24時間の培養後、乾燥材料をフィルタ処理により分子篩から分離した。各乾燥反応剤は個別にRTでアルゴン雰囲気下のデシケータ内において個別に保存し、使用まで各無水反応剤のそれぞれに対応する残留水分量を維持するようにした。
第1段階の乾燥した反応剤に水を以下のようにして添加した。この制御した水添加又は湿潤化は、反応性縮合硬化可能アミノシリコーンプレポリマーに対して、反応性補強フィラーに対して及び/又は非反応性反応剤に対して実施した。既知の水分量に曝露される反応剤は、ここではプレミックスと称する。反応剤の制御下湿潤化に使用した水は、中性とも称される6.5〜7.5の範囲内におけるpHを有する蒸留水であった。
前処理組成物1〜5(PTC1〜PTC5)
20ml封止可能ガラスビン内に以下のものを配置した。
0.8重量%の水で湿潤化した疎水性ヒュームド・シリカ(Aerosil(登録商標)R 8200)を0.23g(最終混合物の重量に対して2.23重量%)、

乾燥したDynasylan(登録商標)SIVO 210を8.00g(最終混合物の重量に対して77.67重量%)。

12.5重量%の水を補充したMTMSプレミックスを8g(最終混合物の重量に対して53.3重量%)、及び
Dynasylan(登録商標)AMEOを2.00g(最終混合物の重量に対して13.3重量%)。
前処理組成物PTC3の粘性は、その各培養時間の終了時にHaakeTM(商標名)MarsTM(商標名)レオメータ(ジオメトリDG41)を使用して1秒−1の剪断速度で測定した。前処理組成物の粘性は時間経過とともに上昇することが分かり、PTC3は、調合直後(t=0時間)には9.7mPa・sの平均粘性を有し、2時間後には10.0mPa・sの粘性、4時間後には10.2mPa・sの粘性、及び12時間後には24.4mPa・sの粘性を有した。したがって、前処理後の12時間では151%の粘性増加が観測された。
乾燥しており中性水で再湿潤化した実施例1において調合した反応剤の油相混合物の前処理をそれぞれに対応する培養時間(すなわち、上述したように、0時間、2時間、4時間又は24時間)にわたり維持した後、0.2gの各混合物を、100mlプラスチック容器に収容した、乳化剤として0.1%Tween(登録商標)80を含む60mlの水溶液に(PTC1〜8及びPTC18由来の混合物のために)、又は60mlの素水に(PTC9〜PTC17及びPTC21〜PTC22由来の混合物のために)添加した。得られた油相及び含水相の組合せを、遊星歯車式遠心分離ミキサー(日本国シンキー日本ものづくりイノベーター製Thinky Mixer ARE-250)を使用して30秒間一定剪断速度(2,000rpm)で、混合及び乳化した。
中和可能酸部分を有するEAAコポリマーへの顔料配合
混練ロールが内部オイル循環によって約100℃まで加熱される3ロール型混練ロール機(中国セイリング・インターナショナル・インダストリー・グループ社混練機型番00)内に、以下の順番で、PrimacorTM(商標名)5990Iを45%、顔料を10%、及びLuwax(登録商標)EAS-5(それぞれが約20.5%及び21.5%のアクリル酸含有量を有するエチレンアクリル酸(EAA)コポリマー)を45%導入した。例えば、300g複合物は、顔料30g及び各EAAコポリマー135gを複合化することによって調合することができる。EAA-顔料複合ペーストを混練ロールに再投入し、約10分間にわたり剪断及び混合した(全体で10サイクルの精練)。溶融混練複合化プロセスの終了時において、比較的乾燥EAA-顔料ストライプ状複合物をシザーズにより約0.5cmの端縁を有する小さい平坦正方形に切断した。平坦正方形複合物は、さらに、コーヒー豆グラインダー(イタリア国デロンギ・アプライアンセズ社製KG40)内において液体窒素を用いる極低温条件の下で粉砕し、最終的にEAAに包み込んだ顔料がおおよその直径が2、3ミリメートルを有する顆粒状粉末を形成した。
EAA包み込み顔料の20g粉末を500mlガラスビーカー内に投入し、それに続いて180mlの蒸留水(pH6.5〜7.5)を添加した。総重量あたり10重量の複合物を含む分散液を、高剪断ミキサー(米国シルバーソン・マシン社製L5M-A)を使用して3,000rpmで10分間にわたり混合するとともに、加熱プレート(イスラエル国フライド・エレクトリック社製)を用いて50℃に加熱する。この温度は、標準実験用水銀温度計(イスラエル国Si-Mada社製)を用いて測定した。加熱した分散液に対して5mlの水酸化アンモニウム(25重量%)を添加して、顔料が包み込まれたEAAコポリマーブレンドを中和した。この混合物は、さらに約20分間にわたり同一条件における混合を継続しつつ、80℃(又はポリマー材料の軟化温度より高い任意な他の適当な温度)まで加熱した。次に、EAAで包み込んだ顔料の少なくとも部分的に中和した分散液に5mlの水酸化アンモニウム(25重量%)を添加して、顔料含有ポリマー粒子の水分散性が得られるまで中和反応を続行した。コポリマー内のアクリル酸基における十分な量の中和は、概して、約10.0のpHを有する分散液を生ずる。添加すべき中和剤の量をポリマー材料内における酸部分の含有量及び所望中和度合いの関数として推定できる等式は当業者には既知であり、またこのような量はルーチン実験によって容易に決定することができる。
1- 縮合硬化可能アミノシリコーンプレポリマー及び付加的な反応性及び非反応性の反応剤(例えば、実施例1で詳述したような)を含む前処理組成物を、その後に実施例2に従って種々の培養時間(例えば、0時間、0.5時間、1時間、2時間、4時間及び24時間)をとって調合したアミノシリコーンエマルションとして準備した。
2- 毛束(ホワイトヤクの体毛で、独国ケーリング・インターナショナル・ハールファブリークGmbH社製の長さ約7cmのフリー体毛)を、ASEntxアミノシリコーンエマルションサンプル内に穏やかに撹拌しつつ約60秒間浸漬した。
3- 反応性アミノシリコーンエマルションでコーティングした毛束を、次にいかなる過剰エマルションをも除去するよう約25℃の水道水で完全にすすぎ洗いした。
4- 反応性アミノシリコーンエマルションでコーティングしたすすぎ洗い済み毛束を、次に実施例3で説明したように調合した中和済みポリマー包み込み顔料の含水分散液に穏やかに撹拌しながら約60秒間浸漬した。複合顔料-コポリマーは最終分散液の重量に対して10%を構成し、その導電率は3ミリジーメンス未満であった。
5- ポリマー包み込み顔料の分散液でコーティングした毛束は、次に過剰な着色分散液を除去するため2、3秒間にわたり約25℃の水道水ですすぎ洗いした。
6- すすぎ洗いした着色済み毛束を、カチオン性シャンプー(米国ユニリーバ社のエキスパートセレクション、ケラチンスムーズ、TRESemme)で洗浄し、繊維は適切な被覆率を確保するようシャンプーで穏やかに揉み込み、次に約25℃の水道水で完全にすすぎ洗いした。
7- 洗浄した着色済み毛束を、フィリップス社製小型ヘアドライヤーで約30秒間にわたり乾燥し、このドライヤーは毛繊維から約20cmの距離をとって熱エアを吹き出して、毛表面を約50℃の温度にできるよう作動させた。
実施例4による乾燥した毛髪繊維の感触は訓練を受けた人によって定性的に評価された。すべてのサンプルは触ってべたつき感がなく、毛髪繊維は個別に利用可能であり、いかなる塊も形成しないものであった。しかし、手触りは、概して、乳化前の前処理組成物の培養時間を長くするにつれ、より一層心地よいものになった。実施例1で評価した24時間までの時間的期間内で、ASEnt24によって得られたべたつきのない手触りはASEnt4によって得られた感触に等しいか又はそれよりよいものであり、このASEnt4はASEnt2によって得られた感触に等しいか又はそれよりよいものであり、ASEnt2自体はASEnt0によって得られた感触よりよいものであることが全般的に観測された。数学的表現を持ち込むと、この結果は、着色毛髪の感触に関して、ASEnt24≧ASEnt4≧ASEnt2≧ASEnt0ということを示唆する。
この実施例の目的は、色染めの永続性の予測モデルとして、実施例4により着色した毛髪サンプルに対し集中的な洗浄を迅速に加えるものであった。この手順は、概して、着色済み毛髪サンプルの乾燥後24時間実施した(特別な実験でそれ以外を明示しない限り)。
乾燥した毛髪サンプルの光学密度(OD)はX-Rite 939、D65/10分光光度計(米国X-Rite社製)を使用して測定した。測定は、コーティング済み(着色済み)又は未コーティング(参考用)毛髪サンプルの少なくとも3つのセグメントで実施し、平均化した。平均値は以下に方法する。
先の実施例で説明したように、実施例1に使用した前処理時点は互いに比較的長い間隔を空けたもので、少なくとも2時間で処理したエマルションにより先ず観測される現象の幾つかは、実際には0時間〜2時間の間における早期の時点で生起し得ると考えられる。この実施例の目的は、この可能性をより短い時間間隔を使用してチェックすることであり、その培養時間は0、15、30、45、60、90及び120分とした。
第1被膜アミノシリコーンエマルションASE3t4(4時間にわたり培養したPTC3から乳化した)のために使用することによって実施例4を繰り返し、この調合は実施例1及び2で詳述した。第2被膜のために、ポリマー包み込み顔料組成物(実施例3に従って調合した)は、Chromophtal(登録商標)バイオレットK580010重量%の代わりに、表5に挙げた着色剤10重量%を含有させた。顔料又は比較対照染料のカラーインデックス(CI)数は丸括弧内に示す。すべての含水分散液は、塗布される分散液の重量に対して10重量%の複合物、したがって、1重量%の顔料を含有させた。すべての分散液は、毛髪繊維に塗布する時点で3ミリジーメンス未満の導電率を有していた。便宜上、分散した着色済みミセルのPSD(体積を単位としてDLSによってナノメートルで測定した)、及び分散液のゼータ電位(mVを単位としてpH10及び固体含有量0.5重量%で測定した)を掲げた。
伝統的毛染めは、毛染め剤がしばしば調合又は塗布の周囲の領域を非選択的に染み汚すことがあり、概して面倒くさいものと考えられる。例えば、毛染め剤は、皮膚(顔の皮膚及び頭皮を含めて)、受け器及び任意な他のこのような表面をときどき非可逆的に望ましくなく染み汚してしまうことがあり得る。この例の目的は、本明細書記載の方法及び組成物を使用する色染めを毛髪繊維に対して選択的であり得ることを示す点にある。
反応性アミノシリコーンプレポリマーの油相を調合するために供する反応剤における制御した量の水に関する毛髪繊維の色染め及び永続性に対する効果を実施例7及び8で示した。この実施例においては、すべての反応剤を無水状態で使用する比較用エマルションを調合した。すべての反応剤は、実施例1で記載したようにオーブン内で又は分子篩を使用してのいずれかで乾燥し、水の存在を最小水含有量まで減少した。エマルションの油相調合中に反応剤には何ら水を添加しなかった。

反応性アミノシリコーンプレポリマーのエマルションにおける油相調合用に供する反応剤に対する制御した水添加の効果を実施例7及び8で示し、実施例11の結果は、さらに、無水反応剤に対する参照も設定する。この実施例において、幾つかの反応剤をpH調整水で湿潤化した比較用エマルションを調合した。すべての反応剤は、実施例1で記載したようにオーブン内で又は分子篩を使用してのいずれかで乾燥した。しかし、6.5〜7.5のほぼ中性pHを有する蒸留水の代わりに、酸性pH1を有する水を既知量添加した。酸性化した水溶液は、等量の蒸留水及び純度99.8%の氷酢酸(Sigma-Aldrich社製、CAS No. 64-19-7)を混合して調合した。簡便のため、この結果として生じた溶液を「酸性水」と称する。

先の実施例における詳述したサンプルで観測されるような永続性はシャンプー耐性を示し、シャンプー耐性色染めは、いかなる侵襲性洗浄剤もないただの水に対する洗浄耐性があると見なされる。アルコール、とくに揮発性アルコールは様々なヘアケア製品で見られるため、アルコール耐性を評価された。
本発明教示によりコーティングした毛髪は、概して、手触りが柔らかく、輝く健康的な外観を示すとともに、場合によっては、幾つかの熟練の観察者により評価されるようにボリュームの向上を示した。ボリューム向上は非コーティング参照基準に対して評価されたもので、毛髪上に形成される薄いアミノシリコーン塗膜の結果として毛髪直径における僅かな増加に起因すると考えられる。約0.3〜1.0μmの厚さを有する塗膜は繊維の直径は約0.6〜2.0μmだけ増加する。約50〜100μmの直径を有する毛髪繊維を仮定すると、このような被膜は約0.5〜5%の直径増加を生ずる。
従来の着色方法は、とくに、永続性効果を追求するときには、概して、毛髪繊維を傷め、脆弱化して機械的弾性を低下させるおそれがある一方で、本発明教示により着色した毛髪サンプルは、非コーティングの毛髪サンプルと少なくとも同程度の弾性があると考えられる。毛髪の堅牢性は以下のようにして評価することができる。
ケラチン質織物繊維
100%ウールの10cm長さのヤーン部片のタフト(房束)を準備した。
PTC9〜17のシリーズをベースとする前処理組成物は、実施例1で詳述したように調合した(ここでは、2重量%の中性水を、GP-965又はGP-967のいずれかに添加する代わりに、Dynasylan(登録商標)SIVO 210に対して添加した)。0.2gの前処理組成物を、実施例2で記載したようにただの水60mlと混合し、また乳化し、培養時間なしにDynasylan(登録商標)SIVO 210反応性アミノシリコーンエマルションを生じた。
6つの生地サンプルを分析し、そのうち3つはa) 92%ポリエステル、b) シフォン、及びc) ライクラで作成された合成織物繊維サンプルであり、また他の3つはa) 綿1、b) 綿2、及びc) 綿3と称される種々のタイプの綿で作成された天然織物繊維サンプルであり、すべてが約7×4cmの面積を有する見本とした。合成サンプルの繊維タイプは400〜4000cm−1の範囲内でFTIRによって分析し、またポリエステル輪郭の92%及び96%に合致すると識別され、ライクラ生地サンプルはポリエーテル-ポリ尿素として識別された。天然サンプルの綿繊維は主にセルロースで作成される。
1- 各織物サンプル(生地見本又はヤーンタフト)を対応するアミノシリコーンエマルション内に約60秒間穏やかに撹拌しつつ浸漬した。
2- 反応性アミノシリコーンエマルションでコーティングした織物サンプルを、次にいかなる過剰なエマルションをも除去するよう約25℃の水道水で完全にすすぎ洗い(リンス)した。
3- 反応性アミノシリコーンエマルションでコーティングしたすすぎ洗い済み織物サンプルを、次に実施例3で記載したように調合した、中和済みポリマーで包み込まれた顔料(ウールサンプルに対してはPigment Red 122、CI 73915及び非ケラチン質天然又は合成繊維に対してはPigment Orange 43、CI 71105)の含水分散液内に約60秒間穏やかに撹拌しつつ浸漬した。合成顔料コポリマーは10重量%の最終中和済み含水分散体から構成され、導電率は3ミリジーメンス未満であった。
4- ポリマーで包み込んだ顔料の分散液でコーティングした各織物サンプルを約25℃の水道水により数秒間すすぎ洗いし、過剰着色分散液を除去した。
5- すすぎ洗い済み織物サンプルの各々を、標準カチオン性シャンプー(英国ユニリーバ製ケラチンスムーズ、TRESemme)により穏やかにマッサージしつつ洗浄し、また25℃の水道水により完全にすすぎ洗いした。
6- すすぎ洗い済み着色織物サンプルは約1時間にわたりオーブン(韓国JSR社製強制対流式オーブンJSOF-100)内において約40℃の温度で乾燥し、また7日間にわたり室温(約23℃)に維持した。
織物サンプルの永続性性能は、着色済み織物サンプルに対して洗濯機サイクルをエミュレートする洗浄プロセスを受けさせることによって試験した。
i. 様々な生地の他のピースを含めて各織物サンプルを100mlカップ内に配置し、洗濯機内における衣類の摩擦効果をエミュレートした。織物サンプル及びエミュレート用生地の総重量は10gであった。
ii. 5〜15%の非イオン性界面活性剤(イスラエル国サノ社製Sano Maxima)を含む織物クリーニング液を総生地重量の1%として計算した量にして、約60℃の温度の水道水90mlとともにカップ内に添加した。カップは遊星歯車式ミキサー(日本国シンキー社製ARE-250)内に配置し、700rpmで15分間にわたり混合し、洗浄液体の温度はRTまで徐々に低下させた。
iii. 水及び洗剤はデキャンティングすることによって排除し、また60℃の水道水と交換し、またさらに、700rpmで15分間にわたり撹拌した。
iv. 水は、再び除去し、またアニオン性界面活性剤(イスラエル国製造のヘンケル社製Soad)を5%未満含有する生地柔軟剤であって、カップ内総生地重量の1%として計算した量にした該生地柔軟剤、並びに室温の水道水90mlによって交換した。カップは再度遊星歯車式ミキサー内に配置し、700rpmで5分間にわたり攪拌した。
v. 織物サンプルは、カップから取り出し、また40℃で1時間にわたり乾燥した。
Claims (26)
- (a) 少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーを含有する油相を準備する油相準備ステップであって、前記油相は、
(i) 前記少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーは、最大でも1,000g/モルの分子量を有する少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンモノマーを含む、及び
(ii) 前記油相は、さらに、前記少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーを硬化するよう適合され又は硬化するよう選択される非アミノ架橋剤を含有し、前記非アミノ架橋剤は、最大でも1,000g/モルの分子量を有するものである、
のうち少なくとも1つを満たし、
前記反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマー、前記反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンモノマー、前記非アミノ架橋剤のうち少なくとも1つ、又はシリコーンオイル、アミノシリコーンオイル、顔料分散剤及び随意的にさらに含まれる反応性で疎水性の無機フィラーのうち任意な1つは水リッチ化反応剤であり、
前記水リッチ化反応剤は、前記油相の前処理持続時間後に、前処理済み前記油相の重量に対して水を、少なくとも0.01重量%、少なくとも0.05重量%、少なくとも0.1重量%、少なくとも0.15重量%、少なくとも0.2重量%、少なくとも0.25重量%、少なくとも0.5重量%、少なくとも0.75重量%、又は少なくとも1重量%、及び随意的に最大でも8重量%、最大でも7重量%、最大でも5重量%、最大でも2.5重量%、最大でも2重量%、最大でも1重量%、又は最大でも0.5重量%含む前処理済み油相を得るよう水含有量を有するものである、
油相準備ステップと、
(b) 前処理済み水中油型エマルションを得るよう前記前処理済み油相を含水相で乳化するステップと、
(c) 織物繊維の外表面に前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションを塗布するステップと、及び
(d) 前記織物繊維の前記外表面上に少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜を形成するよう、前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションのプリポリマーの部分的縮合硬化が生じた後に、前記少なくとも部分的に硬化したアミノシリコーン被膜上に、中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料で形成した複数のポリマー粒子を含む含水分散体を塗布する含水分散体塗布ステップであって、前記複数のポリマー粒子は、前記アミノシリコーン被膜の外表面に接着するオーバーレイポリマー層を生ずるよう前記含水分散体内に分散しているものである、含水分散体塗布ステップと
を備える、織物繊維をコーティングする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、油相に対する、前記油相又は前処理済み油相内における含水相の体積比が、少なくとも9:1、少なくとも9.33:0.67、少なくとも9.5:0.5、又は少なくとも9.75:0.25であり、前記油相又は前処理済み油相は、随意的に含水相がないものとする、方法。
- 請求項1又は2記載の方法において、前記水リッチ化反応剤は、乾いた反応剤の重量に対して水を1重量%未満、0.5重量%未満、0.1重量%未満、0.05重量%未満、又は0.01重量%未満含有するほぼ乾いた反応剤に対して含水前処理溶液を添加することによって得る、方法。
- 請求項1〜3のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記水リッチ化反応剤の水含有量は、含水前処理溶液を添加し、この添加前に前記水リッチ化反応剤の重量に対して最大でも15重量%、最大でも12.5重量%、最大でも10重量%、及び随意的に少なくとも0.1重量%、少なくとも0.2重量%、又は少なくとも0.3重量%の量で前記含水前処理溶液を添加することによって得る、方法。
- 請求項1〜4のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記前処理済み油相は、含水前処理溶液を前記油相に添加し、前記油相の重量に対して8重量%以下、7重量%以下、5重量%以下、2.5重量%以下、1.0重量%以下、又は0.5重量%以下、及び随意的に0.01重量%以上、0.05重量%以上、又は0.1重量%以上、の量で前記含水前処理溶液を添加することによって得る、方法。
- 請求項3〜5のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記含水前処理溶液は、6.5〜7.5の範囲内におけるpHを有する蒸留水からほぼ成る、方法。
- 請求項3〜5のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記含水前処理溶液は、さらに、酸を含み、前記酸は随意的に揮発性の酸である、方法。
- 請求項7記載の方法において、前記含水前処理溶液は、0.5〜2.5、0.5〜2.0、0.7〜1.4、又は0.9〜1.2の範囲内におけるpHを有する、方法。
- 請求項1〜8のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記油相の前処理持続時間は、24時間以下、4時間以下、2時間以下、1時間以下、30分以下、20分以下、10分以下、又は5分以下である、方法。
- 請求項1〜9のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーの第1アミノシリコーンプレポリマーは、3次元網状組織を形成するよう、少なくとも3つのシラノール基及び/又は加水分解性基(3+SiOH)を有する、方法。
- 請求項1〜10のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーは、23℃で重量に関して1%未満、0.5%未満、又は0.1%未満の水に対する溶解度を有する反応性アミノシリコーンモノマーを含む、方法。
- 請求項1〜11のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマーは、アルコキシ-シラン反応基、シラノール反応基及びこれらの組合せより成るグループから選択される反応基を含む、方法。
- 請求項1〜12のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、すべての無機物及びいかなる顔料を除外して前記油相又は前記前処理済み油相は、ガラス遷移温度がないものとする、方法。
- 請求項1〜13のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記油相又は前記前処理済み油相内における、任意な顔料粒子及び前記顔料粒子用の分散剤を含めて、前記プレポリマー、前記非アミノ架橋剤、固体、疎水性反応性無機フィラー、前記アミノシリコーンオイル及び前記非アミノシリコーンオイルの総濃度は、重量に対して少なくとも90%、少なくとも93%、少なくとも95%、少なくとも97%、少なくとも98%、又は少なくとも95%である、方法。
- 請求項1〜14のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記部分的縮合硬化は、最大でも75℃、最大でも65℃、最大でも55℃、最大でも45℃、最大でも38℃、最大でも36℃、最大でも34℃、又は最大でも32℃、及び随意的に少なくとも15℃の温度で実施する、方法。
- 請求項1〜15のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記水中油型エマルション又は前処理済み水中油型エマルションは、ゼロより高い表面ゼータ電位、又は少なくとも+1mV、少なくとも+2mV、少なくとも+3mV、少なくとも+5mV、少なくとも+7mV、少なくとも+10mV、少なくとも+15mV、少なくとも+20mV、少なくとも+30mV、少なくとも+40mV若しくは少なくとも+60mV、及び随意的に最大でも+100mV若しくは最大でも+80mVの表面ゼータ電位を有し、前記表面ゼータ電位は、さらに、随意的に前記水中油型エマルションの元々のpHで測定したものとする、方法。
- 請求項1〜16のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記含水分散体のpHで、前記水中油型エマルション又は前処理済み水中油型エマルションは第1表面ゼータ電位(ζ1)を有し、前記含水分散体は第2表面ゼータ電位(ζ2)を有し、前記pHでのゼータ電位差(Δζ)をΔζ=ζ1−ζ2として定義し、また、ミリボルト(mV)単位でのΔζは、以下のもののうち少なくとも1つを満たす、すなわち、
(i) Δζは、少なくとも10、少なくとも15、少なくとも20、少なくとも25、少なくとも30、少なくとも40、又は少なくとも50である、
(ii) Δζは、10〜80、10〜70、10〜60、15〜80、15〜70、15〜60、20〜80、20〜70、20〜60、25〜80、25〜70、25〜60、30〜80、30〜70、30〜60、35〜80、35〜70、又は35〜60の範囲内である、
(iii) 4〜11、4〜10.5、4〜10、6〜11、6〜10.5、6〜10、7〜11、7〜10.5、又は7〜10の範囲内であるpHに対して、前記第1表面ゼータ電位(ζ1)はゼロより大きい(ζ1>0)、
のうち少なくとも1つを満たすものである、方法。 - 請求項1〜17のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、さらに、前記親水性ポリマー材料を十分にそれの共役酸に変換して疎水性ポリマー層を得るステップを備える、方法。
- 請求項1〜18のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記油相、前記前処理済み油相、又は中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料の前記ポリマー粒子のうち少なくとも1つは、さらに、随意的には複数のサブミクロン的顔料粒子としての、顔料を含有する、方法。
- 請求項19記載の方法において、前記油相、前記前処理済み油相は、サブミクロン的顔料粒子を含有し、またさらに分散剤を含有し、前記サブミクロン的顔料粒子は、前記分散剤内に分散し、前記分散剤は、随意的には前記顔料の重量に対して、25%〜400%、50%〜200%、又は75%〜125%の範囲内の量である、方法。
- 請求項19〜20のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記前処理済み水中油型エマルションは第1顔料を含有し、また前記含水分散体は第2顔料を含有する、方法。
- 請求項1〜21のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記織物繊維は天然ケラチン質繊維である、方法。
- 請求項1〜21のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記織物繊維は天然非ケラチン質繊維である、方法。
- 請求項1〜21のうちいずれか1項記載の方法において、前記織物繊維は合成繊維である、方法。
- (a) 第1油相を収容する第1油相隔室であって、前記第1油相は、
(i) 最大でも1,000g/モルの分子量を有する少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンモノマー、また随意的に
(ii) 非アミノ架橋剤、またさらに随意的に
(iii) アミノシリコーンオイル及び非アミノシリコーンオイルのうち少なくとも一方、またさらに随意的に
(iv) 反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンポリマー及び反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンオリゴマーのうち少なくとも一方を含む少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマー
を含むものである、第1油相隔室と、
(b) 含水分散体を収容する含水分散体隔室であって、前記含水分散体は、
(i) 含水媒体と、
(ii) 前記含水媒体内に配置された中和済み酸部分を有する親水性ポリマー材料を含む又はそれで作成されるサブミクロン的粒子であって、前記サブミクロン的粒子の少なくとも一部分の各々が、随意的に少なくとも1つの顔料粒子を含有し、前記少なくとも1つの顔料粒子は、随意的に前記ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に包み込まれる、サブミクロン的粒子と、
を含むものである、含水分散体隔室と、
(c) 第2油相を収容する随意的な第2油相隔室であって、前記第2油相は、
(i) アミノシリコーンオイル及び非アミノシリコーンオイルのうち少なくとも一方、また随意的に
(ii) 固体で疎水性の反応性無機フィラー、またさらに随意的に
(iii) 反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンポリマー及び反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンオリゴマーのうち少なくとも一方を含む少なくとも1つの反応性縮合硬化可能塗膜形成アミノシリコーンプレポリマー、またさらに随意的に
(iv) 前記第2油相内に配置される顔料粒子
を含むものである、第2油相隔室と
を備える、織物繊維の外表面をコーティングする反応性組成物を生産するためのキットであり、
前記第1油相隔室及び随意的な第2油相隔室のうち少なくとも一方は、さらに、含水前処理溶液を収容し、及び
前記キットは、さらに随意的に、増粘剤、乳化剤、界面活性剤及び分散剤のうち少なくとも1つを備える、キット。 - 請求項25記載のキットにおいて、i) 前記含水分散体隔室(b) 、及びii) 前記第2油相隔室(c) のうち少なくとも一方は、さらに、対応する含水分散体及び/又は第2油相内における顔料を収容し、
前記顔料は、随意的に複数のサブミクロン的顔料粒子から成るものとし、前記顔料粒子のうち少なくとも1つは、前記含水分散体内に存在する場合には、随意的に前記ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に包み込まれるものである、キット。
