Claims (15)
- 電流駆動型LEDのアレイのドライバであって、
前記LEDのアレイへの供給電圧を生成し、該供給電圧をフィードバック信号に応答して調整するよう構成される電圧コンバータと、
前記LEDのアレイの中のLEDを駆動するよう構成される複数の電流レギュレータと、
電圧ヘッドルームに対して電流レギュレータ電圧をモニタし、該ヘッドルームのモニタ結果に基づいて前記フィードバック信号を生成するよう構成されるモニタ装置であり、複数のコンパレータを有し、夫々の電流駆動型LEDの電極もコンパレータの入力部へ接続され、コンパレータは、当該LEDの電極電圧が、前記電圧ヘッドルームの下限を定義する第1入力電圧よりも低いときに、高コンパレータ出力を生成し、当該LEDの電極電圧が、前記電圧ヘッドルームの上限を定義する第2入力電圧よりも高いときに、低コンパレータ出力を生成するよう構成され、前記フィードバック信号は、バンドルされたコンパレータ出力を有する、前記モニタ装置と
を有するドライバ。 - 電流レギュレータは、前記ドライバのすでに部分である被制御アクティブデバイスを有する、
請求項1に記載のドライバ。 - 電流レギュレータは、バイポーラトランジスタ又はMOSFETを有する、
請求項2に記載のドライバ。 - コンパレータは、LEDと前記フィードバック信号との間に接続されたウィンドウコンパレータとして実現され、各LEDのカソードは、前記コンパレータの入力部へ接続される、
請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一項に記載のドライバ。 - コンパレータは、
第1演算増幅器、及び該第1演算増幅器の出力部と当該コンパレータの出力部との間に順方向で接続される第1ダイオードと、
第2演算増幅器、及び該第2演算増幅器の出力部と当該コンパレータの出力部との間に逆方向で接続される第2ダイオードと
を有する、
請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか一項に記載のドライバ。 - 前記第1演算増幅器及び前記第2演算増幅器の反転入力部は、LEDの電極へ接続され、
前記第1演算増幅器の非反転入力部は、前記第1入力電圧へ接続され、
前記第2演算増幅器の非反転入力部は、前記第2入力電圧へ接続される、
請求項5に記載のドライバ。 - 各LEDの電極は、専用の電流レギュレータへ接続される、
請求項1乃至6のうちいずれか一項に記載のドライバ。 - 複数のLEDを有するLEDアレイと、
前記LEDを駆動するよう構成される、請求項1乃至7のうちいずれか一項に記載のドライバと
を有するデバイス。 - 前記LEDアレイは、少なくとも9個のLEDを有するセグメント型フラッシュとして実現される、
請求項8に記載のデバイス。 - 携帯電話機として実現される、
請求項8又は9に記載のデバイス。 - 前記電圧コンバータは、ブーストコンバータ、バックコンバータ、又はバックブーストコンバータのいずれかとして実現される、
請求項8乃至10のうちいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。 - 前記LEDアレイのLEDを流れる電流を制御するよう夫々構成される複数の電流レギュレータを有し、
各LEDの電極は電流レギュレータへ接続される、
請求項8乃至11のうちいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。 - LEDアレイの駆動方法であって、
前記LEDアレイの中のLEDのための供給電圧を生成し、該供給電圧をフィードバック信号に応答して調整するよう電圧コンバータを構成することと、
前記LEDアレイの中のLEDを駆動するよう複数の電流レギュレータを設けることと、
電圧ヘッドルームに対して電流レギュレータ電圧をモニタし、該ヘッドルームのモニタ結果に基づいて前記フィードバック信号を生成することと
を有する方法。 - 前記フィードバック信号が閾レベルよりも高い場合に前記供給電圧を増大させることを有する、
請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記フィードバック信号が閾レベルよりも低い場合に前記供給電圧を低減させることを有する、
請求項13又は14に記載の方法。
