Abstract
Description
本出願は、2014年4月25日出願の「磁力駆動型動静脈アクセスバルブシステム及びそれに関連する方法(Magnetically-activated Ateriovenous Access Valve System and Related Methods)」なる標題の米国特許仮出願第61/984,550号に基づく優先権を主張するものである。上記特許出願の開示内容の全体は、参照により本明細書に援用される。
本発明は、概して、動静脈アクセスバルブシステムに関し、より詳細には、動静脈グラフトの端部またはその近傍に設けられたバルブを開閉するための、針を使用しない磁力駆動型バルブシステムに関する。
Claims (12)
- 動静脈アクセスバルブシステムであって、
動静脈グラフトの第1の端部またはその近傍に配置されるように構成され、閉位置と開位置との間で移動可能な第1のバルブと、
動静脈グラフトの、前記第1の端部の反対側の第2の端部またはその近傍に配置されるように構成され、閉位置と開位置との間で移動可能な第2のバルブとを備え、
前記第1のバルブ及び前記第2のバルブの少なくとも一方が、前記動静脈グラフトの流路内に配置される膨張可能バルーンを含み、
前記システムはさらに、
前記第1のバルブ及び前記第2のバルブの少なくとも一方に流体連通されており、少なくとも1つの流路を介して流体を前記第1のバルブ及び前記第2のバルブの少なくとも一方に供給するように構成されたアクチュエータアセンブリと、
少なくとも1つの植込み型センサであって、前記アクチュエータアセンブリと前記第1のバルブ及び前記第2のバルブの少なくとも一方との間に前記流体が導入されたときに、流路内に配置された前記膨張可能バルーンによって前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサに対して加えられた力を検出するように構成された、該少なくとも1つの植込み型センサと、を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記第1のバルブは、第1の膨張可能バルーンを含み、
前記第2のバルブは、第2の膨張可能バルーンを含み、
前記第1の膨張可能バルーン及び前記第2の膨張可能バルーンの両方が、前記動静脈グラフトの流路内に配置され、
前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサは、第1のセンサ及び第2のセンサを含み、前記第1のセンサは、前記第1の膨張可能バルーンによって前記第1のセンサに対して加えられた力を検出するように構成され、前記第2のセンサは、前記第2の膨張可能バルーンによって前記第2のセンサに対して加えられた力を検出するように構成され、前記第1のセンサ及び前記第2のセンサによって検出される力は、それぞれ前記第1の膨張可能バルーン及び前記第2の膨張可能バルーンの膨張レベルを示すことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサは、感圧フィルムを含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記動静脈グラフトの内部に配置されるか、または前記動静脈グラフトの端部に結合される少なくとも1つのスリーブをさらに含み、流路内に配置される前記膨張可能バルーンは、前記少なくとも1つのスリーブの内部に配置され、前記少なくとも1つのスリーブに対して膨張可能であり、
前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサは、前記少なくとも1つのスリーブに動作的に関連して設けられた感圧フィルムを含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項4に記載のシステムであって、
前記少なくとも1つのスリーブは、内側スリーブ及び外側スリーブを含み、
前記感圧フィルムは、前記内側スリーブと前記外側スリーブとの間に配置され、前記膨張可能バルーンの膨張により前記内側スリーブが外向きの力を受ける範囲に沿った領域の少なくとも一部の内周面に沿って延在することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサに通信可能に接続されたセンサ通信装置をさらに含み、
前記センサ通信装置は、検出された前記力を示すデータを別個の装置に送信するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項6に記載のシステムであって、
前記別個の装置は、外部起動装置を含み、
前記センサ通信装置は、前記データを前記外部起動装置に無線送信するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項7に記載のシステムであって、
前記アクチュエータアセンブリは、駆動磁石を有し、
前記外部起動装置は、前記アクチュエータアセンブリの前記駆動磁石と磁力的に結合するように構成された起動磁石を含み、
前記外部起動装置は、該外部起動装置を前記アクチュエータアセンブリに隣接して配置し、前記起動磁石を回転させたときに、前記駆動磁石と前記起動磁石との間の磁力により前記駆動磁石を回転させることによって前記アクチュエータアセンブリを回転駆動させ、それにより、前記流体を前記アクチュエータアセンブリと前記第1のバルブ及び前記第2のバルブの少なくとも一方との間に導入するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
検出された前記力が、流路内に配置される前記膨張可能バルーンの膨張レベルを示すことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサは、流路内に配置される前記膨張可能バルーンを膨張させたとき前記膨張可能バルーンによって前記少なくとも1つの植込み型センサに対して加えられた径方向外向きの力を検出するように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記アクチュエータアセンブリは、少なくとも1つの流路を介して前記流体を前記膨張可能バルーンに供給するように構成されることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
少なくとも1つのスリーブをさらに含み、
流路内に配置される前記膨張可能バルーンは、前記少なくとも1つのスリーブの内部に配置され、前記少なくとも1つのスリーブに対して膨張可能であり、
前記少なくとも1つのスリーブは、前記少なくとも1つのスリーブの第1の端部から前記少なくとも1つのスリーブの第2の端部まで延在する円筒状のハウジングを形成し、前記第1の端部または前記第2の端部が前記動静脈グラフトに結合されることを特徴とするシステム。
