Abstract
Description
This disclosure relates to unit tiles.
Conventionally, a unit tile in which a plurality of tiles are connected and integrated by attaching a tile connecting sheet to the surface of a plurality of tiles via an adhesive is known. According to this unit tile, after the back surface of the unit tile is attached and fixed to the wall surface or the like, the tile can be attached to the wall surface or the like for each unit by peeling off the tile connecting sheet on the front surface.
For example,
By the way, in recent years, due to the aging of tile craftsmen and the like, it may be difficult to sufficiently wash the adhesive on the tile surface with water. Demand for tiles with large irregularities on the surface and matte type tiles with low gloss by adding fine irregularities to improve the design is increasing. Unit tiles with many of these irregularities tend to have difficulty in removing the adhesive on the tile surface due to the irregular shape and the like. Against this background, further improvement is required in terms of facilitating the removal of the adhesive remaining on the surface of the tile from which the tile connecting sheet has been peeled off.
The present disclosure has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a unit tile capable of easily removing the adhesive remaining on the tile surface from which the tile connecting sheet has been peeled off.
The present disclosure is a unit tile comprising a plurality of tiles and a tile connecting sheet that is attached to the surface of the plurality of tiles via an adhesive and connects the plurality of tiles, wherein the adhesive is a unit tile. <Making unit tiles>
In order to select the type of tile to be used for the unit tile, 9 sets of unit tiles were prepared using each of the 9 types of tiles. Specifically, one tile connecting sheet to which 7.5 g of adhesive is uniformly applied is attached to the surface of 18 tiles set on the joint plate, and the 18 tiles are integrated to form a unit tile. bottom. The size of one tile has vertical and horizontal dimensions of 96.5 mm × 46.5 mm and a thickness of 7.0 mm. The 18 tiles were arranged so that 3 tiles were arranged in the longitudinal direction of each tile and 6 tiles were arranged in the lateral direction. After attaching the tile connecting sheet to the tile surface, it was cured at 80 ° C. for 20 minutes using a dryer. The cured unit tile was taken out from the dryer and left to stand until the tile surface reached room temperature to prepare a unit tile.
タイルの種類は、タイル2A(COM−255/DPL−1 立風製陶社製)、タイル2B(COM−255/RI−101 立風製陶社製)、タイル2C(COM−255/RBL−1 立風製陶社製)、タイル2D(COM−255/NA−501 日本モザイクタイル社製)、タイル2E(COM−255/NRG−1 日本モザイクタイル社製)、タイル2F(COM−255/CFR−601 日本モザイクタイル社製)、タイル2G(COM−255/SU−101 杉江製陶社製)、タイル2H(COM−255/SU−201)、タイル2I(COM−255/NVG−1 中島窯業社製)の9種類である。 The types of tiles are tile 2A (COM-255 / DPL-1 manufactured by Tatefu Ceramics Co., Ltd.), tile 2B (COM-255 / RI-101 manufactured by Tatefu Ceramics Co., Ltd.), and tile 2C (COM-255 / RBL-). 1 Tatefu Ceramics Co., Ltd.), Tile 2D (COM-255 / NA-501 Japan Mosaic Tile Co., Ltd.), Tile 2E (COM-255 / NRG-1 Japan Mosaic Tile Co., Ltd.), Tile 2F (COM-255 /) CFR-601 Nippon Mosaic Tile Co., Ltd.), Tile 2G (COM-255 / SU-101 Sugie Ceramics Co., Ltd.), Tile 2H (COM-255 / SU-201), Tile 2I (COM-255 / NVG-1 Nakajima) There are 9 types (manufactured by Ceramics Co., Ltd.).
As the tile connecting sheet, a tile table-pasting paper manufactured by Toyo Kenso Co., Ltd., which has vertical and horizontal dimensions of 275 mm × 275 mm and a basis weight of 86 g / m 2, was used.

<Adhesive evaluation method>
The tile connecting sheets of the nine types of unit tiles produced by the above method were sprayed with water to moisten them, and the unit tiles were left for 3 minutes. Then, the tile connecting sheet was peeled off, an iodine solution was applied to the tile surface, and the starch paste remaining on the tile surface was colored. Then, the tile surface was lightly washed with water, and the residual amount of the adhesive on the tile surface after washing with water was visually observed. As the iodine solution, an isodine mouthwash manufactured by Mundipharma was diluted 2-fold with water. Then, it was washed with water using a brush or a sponge as a cleaning jig, and the time until the adhesive could be completely removed was measured. Table 1 shows the cleaning time sufficient for removing the adhesive by washing with water using a cleaning jig.
<Evaluation result>
When only washing with water was performed, the amount of glaze was larger than that of other tiles, and the unit tile provided with tile 2A having a flat surface had almost no adhesive left. It was confirmed that the adhesive remained in the unit tiles provided with the tiles 2B to 2I, although there was a difference in density. As shown in Table 1, when washed with water using a cleaning jig, tiles 2C to 2E and 2H in particular require a longer time to remove the adhesive on the tile surface than other types of tiles, and are adhered. It was confirmed that the surface had a surface on which it was difficult to remove the agent. Based on these results, the tile 2C, which is the most difficult to remove the adhesive by washing with water using a brush, was selected as the tile for evaluation of the adhesive removability and the like.

After 3 minutes, the tile connecting sheet was peeled off, and the tiles were rubbed 5 times per sheet using a nylon handy brush and washed with water. Then, an iodine solution was applied to the tile surface using a brush, and the discoloration of the tile surface was visually confirmed to evaluate the removability of the adhesive. That is, the residual amount of starch paste on the tile surface was confirmed by utilizing the iodine-starch reaction in which the starch paste was colored. As the iodine solution, an isodine mouthwash manufactured by Mundipharma was diluted 2-fold with water. The evaluation criteria for the removableness of the adhesive are shown below.
0: Starch glue does not adhere to the tile surface 1: The area where the starch glue adheres is less than 20% of the entire tile surface 2: The starch glue adheres to the area of 20% to less than 40% of the entire tile surface Adhered state 3: Starch glue adhered to the area of 40% to less than 60% of the entire tile surface 4: Starch glue adhered to the area of 60% to less than 80% of the entire tile surface 5: Starch glue adhered State FIG. 2 attached to 80% or more of the entire tile surface is an image showing an example of the tile surface in each of the states 0 to 5.
<Evaluation result>
As shown in Table 2, regarding the tile retention, unit tiles in which the tiles were peeled off from the tile connecting sheet were not confirmed in all the examples and comparative examples.
Regarding the removability of the adhesive, in Comparative Example 1 containing no alcohol and Comparative Examples 2 to 4 in which the adhesive contained monohydric alcohol, starch paste was present in 80% or more of the entire tile surface after washing with water. It remained. In Examples 1 to 26 in which the adhesive contains a polyhydric alcohol, the region where the starch paste remains after washing with water is less than 80% of the entire tile surface, and it is confirmed that the polyhydric alcohol improves the removeability of the adhesive. Was done.
In Examples 1-8, 19-22, 25, 26 in which the adhesive contained glycerin, the area where the starch paste remained after washing with water was less than 40% of the entire tile surface. In particular, in Examples 4 to 8, no residual starch paste was confirmed on the tile surface after washing with water. From this result, it is considered that the removability of the adhesive is further improved when the content of glycerin with respect to 100 parts by mass of the constituent components of the adhesive excluding alcohol is in the range of 15 parts by mass or more and 50 parts by mass or less.
FIG. 3 is an image showing the appearance of the tile surface of Example 5 and Comparative Example 1 to which the iodine solution is applied. It can also be confirmed from FIG. 3 that the polyhydric alcohol improves the removability of the adhesive.
In Examples 4 to 6, no tiles that were about to peel off from the tile connecting sheet were confirmed. From this result, when the content of glycerin with respect to 100 parts by mass of the constituent components of the adhesive excluding alcohol is in the range of 15 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less, the excellent tile retention is maintained and the adhesive removability is improved. It is possible to improve further.
