Claims (3)
- 検出精度が相違する複数の検出センサ(21,22)によって自車の周囲の物体を物標として検出して得られる複数の物標情報を結合することにより、前記物体を検出する物体検出装置(10)であって、
前記物標から選択された基準物標を基準とする所定の群衆範囲内に検出された前記基準物標以外の前記物標を群衆物標と判定する群衆判定部(12)と、
前記基準物標と前記群衆物標とが検出された領域である群衆判定領域を含むように探索範囲を設定する範囲設定部(13)と、
前記探索範囲について前記物標情報を結合して前記探索範囲内の物標が示す物体を判定する物体判定部(14)と、を備える物体検出装置。 - 前記群衆判定部は、前記自車の将来の移動軌跡内に検出された前記自車に最も近い物標を前記基準物標として選択する請求項1に記載の物体検出装置。
- 前記物体判定部は、前記群衆判定領域に検出された物標のうち、前記自車と衝突する危険性が最も高い物標を代表物標に設定し、前記代表物標を前記群衆判定領域内の前記代表物標以外の物標に優先させて前記物標情報を結合する請求項1または2に記載の物体検出装置。
