Abstract
Description
The present invention chemically removes stains such as tongue coating adhering to the tongue surface, which is also the main cause of physiological halitosis, to give a high feeling of stain removal, and to give a moist coating feeling to the tongue surface after cleaning. The present invention relates to a composition for sweeping the tongue having an excellent feeling of use and a method for cleaning the tongue using the composition.
In recent years, awareness of bad breath has gradually increased. It is said that the physiological halitosis that occurs when waking up or on an empty stomach is mainly caused by tongue coating attached to the surface of the tongue. Therefore, removing tongue coating is an effective means for preventing bad breath, and awareness of the importance of tongue cleaning is increasing.
The formation of this tongue coating proceeds when food residues, oral bacteria, saliva, etc. firmly adhere to and accumulate between the papillae of the tongue and the surface of the tongue, which are a large number of minute small protrusions on the surface of the tongue.
Conventionally, the mainstream method for cleaning the tongue is to brush the tongue with the toothpaste foaming while brushing the teeth, but depending on the type of toothbrush used and the method of brushing, the friction on the tongue is strong. It may hurt the tongue and cause pain and irritation, and such physical means have a problem in terms of usability.
On the other hand, it is also known to chemically remove tongue coating using a tongue coating remover or an oral composition containing the same, but chemical removal has a removal effect by cleaning and a feeling of cleaning as compared with physical removal. In that respect, it is not always sufficient.
Patent Documents 1 to 4 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-178154, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-156288, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5845603, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2016-216424) are used for tongue coating removing agents and oral compositions that chemically remove tongue coating. Although it has been proposed in the Gazette, there is still room for improvement in terms of the actual feeling of the effect.
Patent Document 1 provides a tongue moss removing effect in a system in which the amount of nonionic surfactant is 0.2% by weight or less by combining sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, ethyl alcohol and a cationic bactericide. Patent Document 2 describes tongue coating removing effect or tongue coating adhesion in an oral composition by combining polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, dihydroxyethyllaurylamine oxide and a cationic antibacterial agent having an average addition molar number of 40 to 100 of ethylene oxide. Although it has an inhibitory effect, it gargles the mouth with an oral composition and imparts a tongue coating removing effect while reducing mucosal irritation when brushing teeth. Further, Patent Document 3 reduces mucosal irritation when spraying or dropping an oral composition such as a liquid into the oral cavity or washing the mouth by using glycerin fatty acid ester and polyglutamic acid in a specific ratio. It has the effect of suppressing the adhesion of tongue coating. Patent Document 4 is to stabilize the activity of the enzyme cysteine protease and thereby improve the effect of removing tongue coating.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention removes stains such as tongue coating, which is the main cause of physiological halitosis, gives a high stain removal feeling, and gives a moist coating feeling to the tongue surface, and is an excellent tongue cleaning composition. And it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of cleaning the tongue using the same.
As a result of diligent studies to achieve the above object, the present inventors have (A) a specific surfactant described later, (B) a higher alcohol having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, (C) a sugar alcohol and /. Alternatively, when the composition blended with glycerin is applied to the surface of the tongue using a brush-like scraping tool and wiped to clean the tongue, stains such as tongue coating can be sufficiently removed and stains are removed. As a real feeling, it gives a high feeling of removing tongue coating, and also gives a moist coating feeling that protects the tongue surface after cleaning, it can give an excellent feeling of use, and it can be applied to the tongue surface. It is also good, and it has been found that it can be suitably used for tongue coating, and the present invention has been made.
In the present invention, the combination of the components (A), (B) and (C) exerts the above-mentioned special action and effect, and if any of the components is lacking, the feeling of removing tongue coating or the feeling of coating the tongue is low. This effect was inferior (see comparative examples below). In addition, when the anionic surfactant sodium lauryl sulfate was blended in place of the component (A), the actual feeling of removing tongue coating was low even if the components (B) and (C) were blended (Comparative Example 4). ).
Patent Document 1 describes tongue coating removal in a system in which the amount of nonionic surfactant is 0.2% by weight or less by a combination of sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, ethyl alcohol and a cationic bactericide. A combination of polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, dihydroxyethyllaurylamine oxide and a cationic antibacterial agent to reduce mucosal irritation and remove tongue coating when mouth is gargled with an oral composition and brushed teeth. Patent Document 3 describes reduction of mucosal irritation and suppression of tongue coating adhesion when an oral composition such as a liquid is sprayed into the oral cavity or washed with the combined system of glycerin fatty acid ester and polyglutamate. Was not intended to improve the effect of removing tongue coating, and although there was no mention of a moist coating feeling on the surface of the tongue coating, no coating feeling was observed.
On the other hand, the present invention gives an excellent feeling of removing tongue coating and a feeling of coating on the surface of the tongue by combining the components (A), (B) and (C), and enhances these effects. Further, for example, the effect of rubbing the tongue with a brush-shaped wiping tool is imparted.
