Abstract
Description
プロトン伝導体は大きく分けて、ゲルや酸水溶液を含む流体と結晶やガラスを含む固体に分類することが出来る。ゲルや酸水溶液等の流体はデバイスとして用いる際に、隙間等から漏れ出す危険性があるため、実用的には固体のプロトン伝導体の利用が望ましい。
光応答性を利用するセンサは、光照射部と受光部をセンサ内に具備する必要があり、センサを小さくすることや、価格面で課題がある。そのため、電気信号として濃度を評価することが望ましいが、金属シアノ錯体を利用し、アンモニア濃度を評価するセンサの報告はない。
(1)金属シアノ錯体を対象ガスを含む気体と接触させた後、金属シアノ錯体のインピーダンスを測定することにより、対象ガス濃度を評価することを特徴とするガスセンサであって、
前記金属シアノ錯体は、主たる組成が一般式、AXM[M’(CN)6]y・ZH2Oで表されるガスセンサ。
ここで、金属原子Mは、バナジウム、クロム、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ロジウム、ニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銅、銀、亜鉛、ランタン、ユーロピウム、ガドリニウム、ルテチウム、バリウム、ストロンチウム、及びカルシウムからなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子であり、金属原子M’は、バナジウム、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ニッケル、白金、及び銅からなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子であり、Aは水素、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウム、カルシウム、マグネシウム、バリウムからなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の陽イオンである。
(2)上記(1)に記載のガスセンサであって、前記金属シアノ錯体よりも電気伝導度が3桁以上低い素材からなる容器の上面の一部の凹部中に入れられた前記金属シアノ錯体の粉末と容器が、容器に圧力を印加することにより同時に成型されているガスセンサ。
(3)上記(1)または(2)に記載のガスセンサであって、対象ガスがアンモニアまたは水蒸気であるガスセンサ
(4)上記(3)に記載のガスセンサであって、アンモニア感応部と、該アンモニア感応部のインピーダンスを検出する検出電極とを備え、前記対象ガス感応部のインピーダンス変化に基づき、アンモニア濃度を評価するガスセンサ。
(5)上記(1)ないし(4)のいずれかに記載のガスセンサを、対象ガスを含む気体と接触させた後、交流電圧をかけた際の電流の応答によりインピーダンスを簡易的測定して、対象ガス濃度を測定する方法。
また、対象ガスの検出範囲には室温も含まれ、測定時にサンプルを加熱する必要はない。多孔性配位高分子の膜または固体の両端に電極をつけ、インピーダンスを測定するという簡易的な手法で、対象ガス濃度を測定することができるという優れた効果を奏するものである。
ここで、金属原子Mは、バナジウム、クロム、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ロジウム、ニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銅、銀、亜鉛、ランタン、ユーロピウム、ガドリニウム、ルテチウム、バリウム、ストロンチウム、及びカルシウムからなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子が好ましく、バナジウム、クロム、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ニッケル、銅、亜鉛からなる群から選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子がより好ましく、マンガン、鉄、コバルト、ニッケル、銅、亜鉛からなる群から選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子が特に好ましい。金属原子M’は、バナジウム、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ニッケル、白金、及び銅からなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子が好ましく、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、白金からなる群から選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子がより好ましく、鉄、コバルトからなる群から選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子がより好ましい。
[調製例1]
<銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体懸濁液の調整>
塩化銅二水和物(CuCl2・2H2O)を9ミリモル(1.53g)と、フェリシアン化カリウム(K3[Fe(CN)6])を6ミリモル(1.98g)をそれぞれ20mLの水に溶かし、これらを遠沈管内で混合し銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体類似体(Cu3[Fe(CN)6]2)懸濁液をえた。遠心分離後上澄みを捨て、純水を加える作業を5回繰り返した、その後、懸濁体にフェロシアン化カリウム1.5ミリモル(0.634g)と純水を加えて、全体の固体量を50g/Lに調整することで、銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体懸濁液を得た。
<くし型電極上スピンコート膜の調整>
くし型電極Pt−10マイクロメートル(BAS株式会社 No.011065)をプラズマにより3分間浸水処理を施した。次に、関東化学社製 鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体(Fe4[Fe(CN)6]3)分散水溶液9wt%、関東化学社製ニッケル−鉄金属シアノ錯体(Ni3[Fe(CN)6)]2)8wt%水溶液、調整例1で調製した銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体懸濁液をそれぞれ異なるくし型電極に40マイクロリットル滴下し、回転数2000rpm、回転時間30秒の条件でスピンコート塗布を行った。これらの塗布したくし型電極を大気中で乾燥させることで、鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、ニッケル−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極を作製した。
[実施例1]
鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、ニッケル−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極の状態を確認するために、電界放出型電子顕微鏡像(FE−SEM、S−4800、Hitachi−Hitec)を用いて表面を観察した。各電極とも、くし型電極間が金属シアノ錯体粒子で覆われていた。塗布前のくし型電極間は絶縁されているため、くし型電極間のインピーダンス測定を行うことで、各金属シアノ錯体のインピーダンスを評価できることが分かった(図1参照)。
[実施例2]
鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、ニッケル−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極のプロトン伝導の湿度依存性を評価した。端子の両端を、インピーダンスアナライザー(4294A、アジレントテクノロジー社製)により、40Hzから110GHzまで周波数を変えながら、測定した。インピーダンスの大きさは、インピーダンスの実数-虚数プロットからナイキストプロットにおける半円をフィッティングすることで算出した。湿度依存性を確認するために、各くし形電極が接する環境の湿度を調湿装置(AHCU−2、キッツマイクロフィルター社製)にて、湿度を変え測定した結果を図2に示す。結果として、各膜ともに湿度の上昇によりイオン伝導度が上昇しており、プロトン伝導を示していることが示唆された。
[実施例3]
鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、ニッケル−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極、銅−鉄金属シアノ錯体くし型電極が希薄なアンモニアを含む状態でどの程度アンモニアを吸着するかを確かめるために、各くし型電極を濃度の異なる2種類のアンモニア水50mLと一緒に密閉されたデシケータに20時間保存し、保存後の赤外スペクトルをフーリエ変化赤外吸収測定器(FTIR、iS5)にて測定し、プロトン伝導の湿度依存性を測定した。保存終了時のデシケータ内のアンモニア濃度をアンモニアガス検知管(型番3Lおよび3M、ガステック社製)にて測定したところ、3ppmvと330ppmVであった。各くし型電極のFTIRスペクトルを確認したところ、アンモニア濃度の上昇に伴い、1400cm−1付近のピークの上昇が確認された(図3参照)。ピークはアンモニウムイオンのN−H偏角ピークであり、膜にアンモニアが吸着されていることを意味する。また、インピーダンスを実施例2と同様の条件で、湿度40%で評価したところ、表1と図4に示すように、電気伝導度が変化することが分かった。アンモニア濃度に応じて、インピーダンスが変化していることから、インピーダンスによりアンモニア濃度を検出することができることが分かった。
簡便に粉体サンプルのプロトン伝導性を評価するために、図5に示すような直径6.8mm、高さ5.3mmの、PLA製円筒形物体の上部に、深さ1mm、幅1mm,長さ5mmの溝を作製したセンサ用容器を、3Dプリンターを用いて作製した。このセンサ用容器の溝の長手方向の両端に銅箔を貼ったうえで、関東化学製鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体5ミリグラムを溝に投入したうえで、このセンサ用容器を直径7mmのペレタイザーに設置し、100kg/cm2で加圧することで鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体センサを作製した。加圧後の鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体センサは直径7mm、高さ4mmに変形し、溝は深さ1mm、幅1mm、長さ4mmへと変形した。この、鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体センサにおける溝の両端の銅箔を用いて2端子でインピーダンス測定を行った結果と、同じ鉄−鉄金属シアノ錯体粒子を直径7mmのペレットに成形した際のインピーダンスの比較を図6に示す)。金属シアノ錯体の粉末を用いた値とペレットを用いた場合で、伝導度はほぼ同じという結果になった。このことから、本方法により作製した粉末を利用したセンサにより、ペレットにすることなく簡便に対象ガス濃度を評価することが可能になる。
Claims (5)
- 金属シアノ錯体を対象ガスを含む気体と接触させた後、金属シアノ錯体のインピーダンスを測定することにより、対象ガス濃度を評価することを特徴とするガスセンサであって、
前記金属シアノ錯体は、主たる組成が一般式、AXM[M’(CN)6]y・ZH2Oで表されるガスセンサ。
ここで、金属原子Mは、バナジウム、クロム、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ロジウム、ニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銅、銀、亜鉛、ランタン、ユーロピウム、ガドリニウム、ルテチウム、バリウム、ストロンチウム、及びカルシウムからなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子であり、金属原子M’は、バナジウム、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、マンガン、鉄、ルテニウム、コバルト、ニッケル、白金、及び銅からなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の金属原子であり、Aは水素、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウム、カルシウム、マグネシウム、バリウムからなる群より選ばれる一種または二種以上の陽イオンである。 - 請求項1に記載のガスセンサであって、前記金属シアノ錯体よりも電気伝導度が3桁以上低い素材からなる容器の上面の一部の凹部中に入れられた前記金属シアノ錯体の粉末と容器が、容器に圧力を印加することにより同時に成型されているガスセンサ。
- 請求項1または2に記載のガスセンサであって、対象ガスがアンモニアまたは水蒸気であるガスセンサ
- 請求項3に記載のガスセンサであって、アンモニア感応部と、該アンモニア感応部のインピーダンスを検出する検出電極とを備え、前記対象ガス感応部のインピーダンス変化に基づき、アンモニア濃度を評価するガスセンサ。
