Claims (20)

兵器を提供することを含み、
前記兵器は、
互いに反対側に位置する第一及び第二端部を有し、内部に爆発コンポーネントが配置された管状の本体と、
前記本体の第一端部又はその近辺に取り付けられ、駆動動作中に前記本体を中心に回転し、推力を与えることによって前記兵器を標的位置上空の第一高度に運ぶ複数のブレードと、
前記管状本体の内部に配置され、選択的に前記駆動動作を行わせるように接続され、前記ブレードの回転を介して前記推力を与えることで前記兵器に推進揚力を与えるモーターと、
前記第二端部に沿って設けられ、前記兵器が飛行中に地表のビューを写した画像データのフレームを生成する撮像装置であって、赤外線画像又は可視光画像を取得する撮像装置と、
無線周波(rf)制御信号を受信するように構成され、当該受信信号に応じて前記兵器の他の構成要素の動作を実行させるように接続された第一受信回路と、
前記画像データのフレームを受信し、当該画像データのストリームを含むRF信号を送信するように接続されたrfビデオ送信回路と、
を備え、
前記方法は更に、ユーザーにより操縦可能で、前記兵器から離れて配置可能なリモコン装置を提供することを含み、
前記リモコン装置は、
ユーザー入力に応じて、飛行及びホバリング中の前記兵器の動作を人間が指示するための制御信号を送信するrf制御回路と、

前記爆発させるステップでは、前記リモコン装置のユーザーが、着発信管を使用せずに前記爆発コンポーネントを爆発させたい場合、前記リモコン装置から送る第三制御信号で前記起爆スイッチを操作し、地上又はその上空で前記爆発コンポーネントを爆発させる、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記兵器は、前記爆発コンポーネントを爆発させるように操作可能な起爆スイッチを更に備え、
前記爆発させるステップでは、前記爆発コンポーネントが衝撃で爆発しない場合、前記リモコン装置から送る第三制御信号で当前記起爆スイッチを操作し、当該爆発コンポーネントを爆発させる、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記兵器を操縦手が手に持ち配備する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9に記載の方法であって、
前記兵器は、前記操縦手が当該兵器を持って起動し、リモコン装置を介して当該兵器の移動を操作することにより配備される、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項10に記載の方法であって、
前記操縦手は、前記リモコン装置のディスプレイを見て、地表に対する前記兵器の現在位置を監視し、前記ディスプレイを介して当該兵器の下方に標的を認識すると、前記リモコン装置を使ってブレードへの電力を停止し、
前記操縦手は、選択した標的に前記兵器が直接投下されるようにし、
前記爆発コンポーネントは、前記標的位置に沿った面に衝突すると爆発する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記兵器は、前記目標位置に向かって、前記第一高度から地表に対し垂直方向に投下される、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記駆動動作では、前記ブレードを折り畳まれた位置又は格納された位置から、回転させて揚力を与える展開位置に配置する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項13に記載の方法であって、
前記ブレードは、バネ仕掛けで展開位置へ配置される、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 地表上空を移動する兵器であって、
互いに反対側に位置する第一及び第二端部を有する管状の本体と、
前記本体の第一端部又はその近辺に取り付けられ、展開時に、推力を与えて前記兵器を標的位置上空の第一高度に運ぶため、前記本体を中心に回転可能な複数の展開可能ブレードと、
前記管状本体部分に取り付けられ、前記ブレードが展開された後に、前記ブレードを回転させる動力を選択的に提供するよう接続されるモーターと、
前記管状本体に取り付けられた爆発物と、
前記兵器を前記第一高度から前記標的に投下するために接続されたスイッチと、
前記兵器から見た地表の一部のビューを生成するカメラと、
を備え、
前記兵器は、展開されると、その飛行がリモコン装置により制御可能で、それにより当該兵器は、前記標的の上空に移動され、当該標的に投下される、
ことを特徴とする兵器。 - 請求項15に記載の兵器を備えたシステムであって、
前記システムは、
前記兵器の操縦、前記モーター及び前記カメラの動作を含む前記兵器の動作、及び操縦のための前記ブレードの調整を制御するよう動作可能に接続されたマイクロプロセッサベースのサブシステムと、
前記リモコン装置と、
を更に備え、
前記リモコン装置は、rfリンクを介して前記マイクロプロセッサベースのサブシステムとのデータ送受信が可能であり、それにより前記第一高度から前記兵器を投下する前記スイッチの機能を含む前記のシステム動作についての制御を行う、
ことを特徴とする兵器。 - 地表上空を移動する兵器であって、
上部ケースと、
前記上部ケースの底部に取り付けられた下部ケースと、
複数の展開可能な同軸ブレードであって、推力を与えて前記兵器を標的位置上空の第一高度に運ぶため、展開時に前記上部ケースを中心に回転可能となるよう当該上部ケースに取り付けられたブレードと、
前記上部ケースに取り付けられ、垂直離陸及び垂直飛行ができるようにブレードを回転させるための動力を選択的に提供するように接続されたモーターと、
前記下部ケースに取り付けられたペイロードと、
前記下部ケースに取り付けられ、兵器から見た地表の少なくとも一部のビューを生成するように配置された画像システムと、
を備える、
ことを特徴とする兵器。 - 請求項16に記載の兵器であって、
遠隔信号を受信するように構成された受信機を更に備え、
前記兵器が配備された際に、当該兵器を操作して目標位置上空に位置するよう当該兵器の飛行を前記遠隔信号を介して制御可能である、
ことを特徴とする兵器。 - 請求項18に記載の兵器であって、
前記ブレードは、その回転が停止したときに、格納されるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする兵器。 - 請求項16に記載の兵器であって、
前記ペイロードは、爆発物、核検出器、化学物質検出器、生物剤検出器、リンペイロード、化学物質ペイロード、及び前記兵器の周囲のエリアを照らすように構成された照明システムのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、
ことを特徴とする兵器。
