- 前記第2及び前記第3のガラス基材が、前記第2のガラス基材と前記第3のガラス基材との間の前記エアギャップを画定するように、少なくとも1つのスペーサ及び/又は縁部封止部によって互いに離間されている、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記エアギャップが、アルゴンガスを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記エアギャップが、ガスで充填されており、及び/又は大気未満の圧力まで排気されている、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記UV反射コーティングが、前記第1のガラス基材に直接接触する、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記低Eコーティングが、前記第2のガラス基材に直接接触する、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記ポリマー含有積層フィルムが、PVBを含む、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記第2及び前記第3のガラス基材は、前記第1及び前記第2のガラス基材が互いから分離されているよりも遠く、互いに離間している、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記第2及び前記第3のガラス基材は、前記第1及び前記第2のガラス基材が互いに分離されているよりも少なくとも5mm遠く、互いに離間している、請求項13に記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記IG窓ユニットが、前記UV反射コーティングを含む全ての領域、及び前記UV反射コーティングを含まない領域において、370nmで5%以下の透過率を有する、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- IG窓ユニットであって、
第1のガラス基材と、
第2のガラス基材と、
第3のガラス基材であって、
第1のガラス基材が、IG窓ユニットが装着される建物の外部に面するように、IG窓ユニットの外部側において提供されており、
前記第2のガラス基材が、少なくとも前記第1のガラス基材と前記第3のガラス基材との間に提供されており、
前記第3のガラス基材は、前記IG窓ユニットが装着される建物の内部に面するように、前記IG窓ユニットの内部側において提供されている、ガラス基材と、
IG窓ユニットが装着される建物の外部に面するように、第1のガラス基材上及びIG窓ユニットの外部表面上に提供された、パターン化されたUV反射コーティングであって、
前記第2及び前記第3のガラス基材が、ポリマー含有積層フィルムを介して互いに積層されている、パターン化されたUV反射コーティングと、
第2のガラス基材上、又はUV反射コーティングとは反対の第1のガラス基材の側面上のいずれかに提供された低Eコーティングであって、そのため、第1のガラス基材が、低EコーティングとUV反射コーティングとの間に位置しており、かつ第2のガラス基材が、ポリマー含有積層フィルムと低Eコーティングとの間に位置している、低Eコーティングであって、
前記第1のガラス基材が、少なくともエアギャップを介して前記第2のガラス基材から離間されており、そのため、前記第2のガラス基材、前記第3のガラス基材、及び前記ポリマー含有積層フィルムを含む積層構造が、前記エアギャップの内側上及び前記低Eコーティングの内側上に位置している、低Eコーティングと、を備える、IG窓ユニット。 - 前記UV反射コーティングが、前記第1のガラス基材から離れて移動する、第1、第2、第3、及び第4の層をこの順番で備え、前記第1及び前記第3の層が、少なくとも約2.25の屈折率を有する高屈折率層であり、前記第2及び前記第4の層が、1.8以下の屈折率を有する低屈折率層であり、屈折率が、550nmで測定されており、
前記第1、前記第2、前記第3、及び前記第4の層が、各々可視光に対して実質的に透明である誘電体層であり、
前記IG窓ユニットが、少なくとも約50%の可視透過率を有し、前記UV反射コーティングが、300〜400nmの範囲の少なくとも実質的な部分において、少なくとも40%の紫外線を反射する、請求項16に記載のIG窓ユニット。 - 前記UV反射コーティングが、300〜400nmの範囲の少なくとも実質的な部分において、少なくとも50%の紫外線を反射する、請求項16又は17のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記UV反射コーティングが、300〜400nmの範囲の少なくとも実質的な部分において、少なくとも60%の紫外線を反射する、請求項16〜18のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記低Eコーティングが、少なくとも第1の誘電体層と第2の誘電体層との間に位置した銀を含む、少なくとも1つの赤外線(IR)反射層を備える、請求項16〜19のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記低Eコーティングが、銀を含む、第1及び第2の赤外線IR反射層と、前記第1のIR反射層と前記第1のガラス基材との間に提供された少なくとも1つの誘電体層と、前記第1のIR反射層と前記第2のIR反射層との間に提供された少なくとも別の誘電体層と、を備え、前記低Eコーティングが、0.10以下の垂直放射率(En)及び/又は8オーム/平方以下のシート抵抗(Rs)を有する、請求項16〜20のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記第1及び第2のガラス基材が、前記第1のガラス基材と前記第2のガラス基材との間の前記エアギャップを画定するように、少なくとも1つのスペーサ及び/又は縁部封止部によって互いに離間されている、請求項16〜21のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記エアギャップが、アルゴンガスを含む、請求項16〜22のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記エアギャップが、ガスで充填されており、及び/又は大気未満の圧力まで排気されている、請求項16〜23のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記低Eコーティング及び前記UV反射コーティングが、各々前記第1のガラス基材に直接接触する、請求項16〜24のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記ポリマー含有積層フィルムが、PVBを含む、請求項16〜25のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記第1及び前記第2のガラス基材が、前記第2及び前記第3のガラス基材が互いから分離されているよりも遠く、互いに離間している、請求項16〜26のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記第1及び前記第2のガラス基材が、前記第2及び前記第3のガラス基材が互いに分離されているよりも少なくとも5mm遠く、互いに離間している、請求項27に記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記IG窓ユニットが、前記UV反射コーティングを含む全ての領域、及び/又は前記UV反射コーティングを含まない全ての領域において、370nmで5%以下の透過率を有する、請求項16〜28のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記積層フィルムが、少なくとも90%の350〜380nmからの紫外線吸収を有する、請求項16〜29のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 前記積層フィルムが、少なくとも90%の350〜380nmからの紫外線吸収を有する、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載のIG窓ユニット。
- 鳥類の衝突を低減させるための窓を作製する方法であって、前記窓が、第1のガラス基材と、少なくとも前記第1のガラス基材によって支持された紫外線(UV)反射コーティングと、を備え、前記方法が、
前記第1のガラス基材と、少なくとも前記第1のガラス基材によって支持された前記紫外線(UV)反射コーティングと、を有することと、
少なくとも1つのレーザ源からレーザビームを放射することであって、前記レーザビームが、(i)1000フェムト秒を下回る持続時間、及び/又は(ii)0.01〜2.0J/cm2のフルエンスを有する光パルスを含み、
光パルスを含む前記レーザビームが、前記UV反射コーティング上に入射し、異なるそれぞれのUV反射率を有するパターン化された領域及びパターン化されていない領域に前記UV反射コーティングをパターン化し、前記レーザビームが、前記パターン化された領域には入射しているが、前記パターン化されていない領域には入射していない、放射することと、
前記UV反射コーティングがパターン化された後に、前記第1のガラス基材を別のガラス基材に結合することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記レーザビームが、100フェムト秒を下回る持続時間を有する光パルスを含む、請求項32に記載の方法。
