Description
Claims (20)
- レーダ波形信号のセットからレーダ波形信号を提供する信号発生器と、
第1の周波数および第1の振幅に関連する局部発振器信号を、第1の局部発振器信号および第2の局部発振器信号に分割し、前記レーダ波形信号、前記第1の局部発振器信号、および前記第2の局部発振器信号に基づいて、第2の周波数および第2の振幅に関連する無線周波数(RF)信号を生成するパワー・モジュレータと、
を備える、システム。 - 前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記第1の局部発振器信号を、前記信号発生器によって提供される第1のレーダ波形信号と混合して第1の混合信号を生成し、前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記第2の局部発振器信号を、前記信号発生器によって提供される第2のレーダ波形信号と混合して第2の混合信号を生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記第1の混合信号と前記第2の混合信号を結合して、前記RF信号を生成する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の局部発振器信号の第1の位相が、前記第2の局部発振器信号の第2の位相と異なる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記信号発生器によって提供される前記レーダ波形信号のセットが、周波数変調連続波レーダ信号、およびパルス信号を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記信号発生器によって提供される前記レーダ波形信号のセットが、疑似ランダム・バイナリ・シーケンス信号、およびパルス信号を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記信号発生器によって提供される前記レーダ波形信号のセットが、周波数変調連続波レーダ信号、および疑似ランダム・バイナリ・シーケンス信号を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記パワー・モジュレータによって生成されるRF信号が、第1のレーダ波形と、前記第1のレーダ波形と異なる第2のレーダ波形とを含む連続レーダ波形である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記局部発振器信号を前記第1の局部発振器信号および前記第2の局部発振器信号に分割するパワー・スプリッタ回路を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記第1の局部発振器信号を受信する第1のRFミキサ回路を備え、前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記第2の局部発振器信号を受信する第2のRFミキサ回路を備える、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のRFミキサ回路が、前記第1の局部発振器信号および前記レーダ波形信号に基づいて第1のRF信号を生成し、前記第2のRFミキサ回路が、前記第2の局部発振器信号および前記レーダ波形信号に基づいて第2のRF信号を生成し、前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記第1のRF信号および前記第2のRF信号に基づいて前記RF信号を生成するパワー・コンバイナ回路を備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記パワー・コンバイナ回路が、電力増幅器、受動パワー・コンバイナ、またはアンテナ、あるいはそれらの組合せを備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 第1のパルス制御波形が、前記第1のRFミキサ回路に提供され、第2のパルス制御波形が、前記第2のRFミキサ回路に提供され、前記第1の局部発振器信号が、前記第2の局部発振器信号とは逆の極性を有し、前記第1のパルス制御波形と前記第2のパルス制御波形とが整列され、異なる幅を有し、前記RF信号の時間幅が、前記第1のパルス制御波形の第1のパルス制御幅と前記第2のパルス制御波形の第2のパルス制御幅の間の差にほぼ等しい、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムが、レーダ送信機であり、前記パワー・モジュレータが、前記レーダ送信機の帯域幅の改善を容易にするために前記RF信号を生成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサに動作可能に結合されたレーダ送信機が、レーダ波形信号のセットからの第1のレーダ波形信号を、信号源に関連する第1の局部発振器信号と混合することによって、第1の混合信号を生成することと、
前記レーダ送信機が、前記第1のレーダ波形信号の逆位相信号として構成された第2のレーダ波形信号を、前記信号源に関連する第2の局部発振器信号と混合することによって、第2の混合信号を生成することと、
前記レーダ送信機が、前記第1の混合信号と前記第2の混合信号を結合することによって無線周波数(RF)信号を生成することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1のレーダ波形信号を受信することが、周波数変調連続波レーダ信号、疑似ランダム・バイナリ・シーケンス信号、またはパルス信号を受信することを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記RF信号を生成することが、前記レーダ送信機によって生成される前記RF信号の波形を改善することを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記レーダ送信機が、前記信号源を、前記第1の局部発振器信号および前記第2の局部発振器信号に分割することをさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 信号源に関連する第1の局部発振器信号と混合される第1のベースバンド信号として第1のレーダ波形信号を受信する第1のパワー・ミキサ回路であり、前記第1のレーダ波形信号が、第1の極性を有する、前記第1のパワー・ミキサ回路と、
前記信号源に関連する第2の局部発振器信号と混合される第2のベースバンド信号として第2のレーダ波形信号を受信する第2のパワー・ミキサ回路であり、前記第2のレーダ波形信号が、前記第1の極性とは異なる第2の極性を有する、前記第2のパワー・ミキサ回路と、
を備え、前記第1のベースバンド信号および前記第2のベースバンド信号に基づいて無線周波数信号が生成される、システム。 - 前記第1のパワー・ミキサ回路が、前記第1のレーダ波形信号および前記第1の局部発振器信号を受信する第1のトランジスタ構造を備え、前記第2のパワー・ミキサ回路が、前記第2のレーダ波形信号および前記第2の局部発振器信号を受信する第2のトランジスタ構造を備える、請求項19に記載のシステム。
