Abstract
Description
本出願は、「1,2,5,6−ナフタレンジイミドコポリマー」という表題の2017年7月28日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/538,405号明細書、および2018年7月18日に出願された米国特許出願第16/038,316号明細書の利益および優先権を主張するPCT国際出願であり、双方とも引用により全部、本明細書に編入する。

ここで今、本発明の好適な構成(1もしくは複数)の詳細な説明に移り、本発明の特徴および概念は他の構成でも実現できること、ならびに本発明の範囲は記載または具体的に説明する態様に限定されないと理解すべきである。本発明の範囲は、続く請求の範囲により限定されるのみであると意図している。
1つの態様では、少なくとも1つの反復単位Bは、約5から約50個の炭素原子(およびその中の炭素数の範囲および具体的数の全ての組み合わせおよび部分的組み合わせ)を有する、場合により置換されたモノ−、ジ−、トリ−、または他の多環式芳香族環系を指し、約6から約20個の炭素原子が好適である。非限定的例には例えば、フェニル、ナフチル、アントラセニル、およびフェナントレニルを含む。アリール基は場合により1もしくは1以上のRxで置換され得る。本出願では、アリール基は置換アリール基、架橋アリール基および縮合アリール基の可能性を含むことができる。唯一の反復単位Bがコポリマー中にあることが可能であるが、多数の反復単位Bがコポリマー内に存在できることも想定される。
反復単位Aおよび反復単位Bは、合わせるとコポリマーを生じる。コポリマーはレジオ―ランダム(regio−random)またはレジオ―レギュラー(regio−regular)であることができる。コポリマーは太陽光発電材料として使用できると構想される。またコポリマーは電子装置の活性層として使用できると構想される。1つの態様では、反復単位Aおよび反復単位Bの数は、コポリマー中、約3から約10,000の範囲であることができる。
有機太陽光発電装置として使用する場合、コポリマーはアノードと併せて使用することができる。有機太陽光発電装置用のアノードは、有機太陽光発電装置として作動することができる任意の従来から知られているアノードであることができる。使用できるアノードの例には:酸化インジウムスズ、アルミニウム、炭素、グラファイト、グラフェン、PEDOT:PSS、銅、金属ナノワイヤー、Zn99InOx、Zn98In2Ox、Zn97In3Ox、Zn95Mg5Ox、Zn90Mg10Ox、およびZn85Mg15Oxを含む。

有機太陽光発電装置として使用する場合、コポリマーは電子移動層に付着させることができる。有機太陽光発電装置用に最適化された市販されている電子移動層を使用することができる。1つの態様では、電子移動層は(AOx)yBO(1-y)を含んでなることができる。この態様では、(AOx)yおよびBO(1-y)が金属酸化物である。AおよびBは、理想的な電子移動層を達成するために選択される異なる金属であることができる。1つの態様では、Aはアルミニウム、インジウム、亜鉛、スズ、銅、ニッケル、コバルト、鉄、ルテニウム、ロジウム、オスミウム、タングステン、マグネシウム、インジウム、バナジウム、チタンおよびモリブデンであることができる。
亜鉛/スズ酸化物(ZTO):フェニル−C60−ブチリック−N−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)アセトアミド(PCBNOH)のゾル−ゲル溶液は、酢酸亜鉛二水和物または酢酸スズ(II)を2−メトキシエタノールおよびエタノールアミンに溶解することにより調製した。具体的には、ZTO:PCBNOHゾル−ゲル電子移動層溶液は、3.98gのZn(OAc)2、398mgのSn(OAc)2 および20.0mgのPCBNOHを、54mLの2−メトキシエタノール中で混合し、996 μLのエタノールアミンを加えることにより調製した。次いで溶液は、2−メトキシエタノールをさらに加えて65%に希釈し、そして少なくとも1時間撹拌した後、インジウムスズ酸化物基材上にスピンキャスティング(spin casting)して電子移動層を形成した。
吸収分光法は、300から1000nmの波長範囲で行いそして測定した。ブランクとなるガラススライドのバックグラウンドをすべてのスペクトルから差し引いた。ポリマーの薄いフィルムサンプルは、10mg/mL溶液(50:50のクロロベンゼン:ジクロロベンゼン中の)のポリマーを、1200rpmでガラススライドにスピンキャスティングすることにより調製した。図9はポリマーのUV可視吸収スペクトルを表す。
アパーチャーマスク(aperture mask)から測定した0.08306cm2の活性面積を持つ装置を、AM1.5G 100mW/cm2条件下でNewport Thermal Oriel 91192 1000W ソーラーシュミレーター(4”x4”照射サイズ)を用いて試験した。図10はソーラーシュミレーターの結果としてポリマーのUV可視吸収スペクトルを表す。
