Claims (14)
- 作動面と、
少なくとも1つのコントロールアームに旋回可能に取り付けられたフレームを備えている印刷ヘッドであって、前記フレームと前記コントロールアームとの間の取付箇所で配置された軸を中心に、前記フレームが回転可能である印刷ヘッドと、
複数の位置で前記フレームに沿って接続された複数の粉体分注機であって、前記印刷ヘッドが前記作動面に対して移動するときに、前記作動面上に粉体の複数の層を同時に堆積させるように構成された粉体分注機と、
少なくとも1つの粉体の層の上に、少なくとも1つのエネルギービームを放射するエネルギー源と、
を備えることを特徴とする3次元物体印刷用の印刷装置。 - 前記エネルギー源が、エネルギービームを粉体の2つ以上の層に同時に放射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記エネルギー源は、エネルギービームを個々の粉体の層に順番に放射することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記エネルギービームが前記複数の層における次の層に適用される前に、前記エネルギービームが十分な期間それぞれの粉体の層に照射され、前記粉体が加熱されることにより、またはエネルギーを与えられることにより、溶融または焼結させるようにしていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記エネルギービームが前記複数の層における次の層に適用される前に、前記エネルギービームが十分な期間それぞれの粉体の層に照射され、前記粉体が部分的にのみ、加熱され、またはエネルギーを与えられるようにし、それぞれの面の温度またはエネルギーを、前記粉体が溶融または焼結する点に達するまで徐々に増加させることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記印刷装置が、エネルギービームを2つ以上の別個のエネルギービームに分割および変換するためのエネルギービーム分割手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記印刷装置が、それぞれ別個のエネルギービームを堆積されている粉体の異なる層に向けるように構成された制御機構を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記エネルギービーム分割手段がビームスプリッターであることを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記印刷ヘッドが一方向に移動しているとき、前記フレームが斜めに傾斜するように構成され、
前記印刷ヘッドが前記一方向と反対方向に移動しているとき、前記フレームが前記斜めの角度と実質的に反対の角度で傾斜するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の印刷装置。 - 前記フレームが傾斜する前記角度は、それぞれの粉体分注機からそれぞれ対応している粉末床までの距離が実質的に等しくなるような角度であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記複数の粉体分注機同士がお互いに等間隔に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の印刷装置。
- 前記粉体の複数の層が千鳥状に堆積され、前記複数の層におけるそれぞれの層の形成が、そのすぐ下層の前記粉体の層の後に開始されるようにしていることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の印刷装置。
- それぞれのエネルギービームが、レーザービーム、コリメート光ビーム、マイクロプラズマ溶接光、電子ビームおよび粒子加速器で構成されるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の印刷装置。
