厚さが約40μmのCOP基材、厚さが約40nmのITOを含む透明電極、シンナメート(Cinnamate)官能基を含むノルボルネン樹脂ベースの光配向性化合物(LG CHEM)を含む厚さが約80nmの配向膜、および反応性メソゲン(RMM141C、MERCK)を含む厚さが約1μmの液晶配向機能膜が順次備えられた液晶変色素子(1,000mm×500mm)を準備した。
サンルーフ用の液晶変色素子に対する実施例として、厚さが約40μmのCOP基材、厚さが約40nmのITOを含む透明電極、シンナメート(Cinnamate)官能基を含むノルボルネン樹脂ベースの光配向性化合物(LG CHEM)を含む厚さが約100nmの配向膜、および反応性メソゲン(RMM141C、MERCK)を含む厚さが約1.2μmの液晶配向機能膜が順次備えられた液晶変色素子を準備した。

実施例1〜実施例10によりエッチングラインが形成された液晶変色素子のITO透明電極の損傷程度、および配線部が形成された液晶変色素子の損傷した抵抗値の補償有無を確認するために、2 point probingにより液晶変色素子の抵抗値を測定し、その結果を下記の表3に示す。
実施例11〜実施例19により配線部が形成された液晶変色素子を、−40℃から約1℃/minの速度で約90℃まで昇温した後、4時間維持し、再び90℃から約1℃/minの速度で約−40℃まで減温した後、4時間維持する工程を10回繰り返して気候評価を行った。このような気候変化テスト時の温度および湿度条件のグラフを図13に示す。
実施例11〜実施例19により配線部が形成された液晶変色素子の損傷した抵抗値の補償有無が気候変化テストの前/後に安定的に維持されるか否かを確認するために、2 point probingにより液晶変色素子の抵抗値を測定し、その結果を下記の表4(テスト前)および表5(テスト後)に示す。
実施例11〜実施例19において塗布され、乾燥された銀ペーストの接着力テストのために、接着力テストを行った。

Claims (20)
- a)基材、前記基材上に形成された透明電極、および前記透明電極上に形成された配向膜を含む液晶変色素子を準備するステップ、
b)前記配向膜上にレーザを照射して一定間隔で離れた2以上のエッチングラインを形成するステップ、および
c)前記エッチングラインの谷領域に導電性ペーストを塗布するステップを含む液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。 - 前記エッチングラインは前記配向膜を貫通し、前記透明電極の少なくとも一部がエッチングされたものである、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記基材は透明高分子基材である、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記透明電極は導電性酸化物を含む、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記配向膜は、単分子化合物、単量体化合物、オリゴマー化合物および高分子化合物のうち少なくとも一つの光配向性化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記液晶変色素子は、前記配向膜上に形成された液晶配向機能膜をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記液晶配向機能膜は反応性メソゲンを含む、請求項6に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記導電性ペーストは、銀ペースト、銅ペースト、ニッケルペースト、カーボンペーストおよびアルミニウムペーストのうち少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記レーザはIRレーザまたはファイバーレーザである、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記レーザは、隣接した前記エッチングライン間の離隔距離が30μm以上450μm以下になるように照射される、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 前記液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法はロールツーロール連続工程で行われる、請求項1に記載の液晶変色素子の配線部の形成方法。
- 基材、前記基材上に備えられた透明電極、および前記透明電極上に備えられた配向膜を含む液晶変色素子であって、
前記液晶変色素子は、前記配向膜上に一定間隔で離れた2以上のエッチングライン、および前記エッチングラインの谷領域に導電性ペーストを含む液晶変色素子。 - 前記エッチングラインは前記配向膜を貫通し、前記透明電極の少なくとも一部がエッチングされたものである、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 隣接した前記エッチングライン間の離隔距離は30μm以上450μm以下である、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 前記基材は透明高分子基材である、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 前記透明電極は導電性酸化物を含む、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 前記配向膜は、単分子化合物、単量体化合物、オリゴマー化合物および高分子化合物のうち少なくとも一つの光配向性化合物を含む、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 前記液晶変色素子は、前記配向膜上に備えられた液晶配向機能膜をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 前記液晶配向機能膜は反応性メソゲンを含む、請求項18に記載の液晶変色素子。
- 前記導電性ペーストは、銀ペースト、銅ペースト、ニッケルペースト、カーボンペーストおよびアルミニウムペーストのうち少なくとも一つを含む、請求項12に記載の液晶変色素子。
