Abstract

前記上部旋回体に配置され、前記電動式建設機械を駆動させるための電動機と、
前記上部旋回体に配置された第1蓄電装置と、
前記下部走行体に配置された第2蓄電装置と、
前記第1蓄電装置と前記第2蓄電装置に外部からの電力を供給する給電装置と、を備えるものである。
まず、図1を参照しながら、電動式建設機械の一例としての油圧ショベル1の概略構造について説明する。ただし、電動式建設機械としては、油圧ショベル1に限定されず、ホイルローダ等の他の車両でもよい。油圧ショベル1は、下部走行体2と、作業機3と、上部旋回体4とを備える。
図3を用いて、油圧ショベル1に搭載され、モータ43及び走行用電動モータ22に電力を供給する電源システム6について説明する。電源システム6は、商用電源5の交流電源電圧を直流電源電圧に交換する給電器45と、給電器45からの電力を充電または放電する第1バッテリユニット44及び第2バッテリユニット24と、を備える。
第1電路6aと第2電路6bをコンバータ61を介して接続することで、第1バッテリユニット44と第2バッテリユニット24の電力消費バランスが大きく異なっても、回路中に大きな電流が流れることがないため、回路を破損させることがなく、部品も汎用のものを使うことができるため部品の調達コストを下げることができる。
第1電路6aと第2電路6bの電圧設定を、第1バッテリユニット44と第2バッテリユニット24を構成するバッテリの直列数を合わせることにより同一電圧にするのではなく、コンバータ61で第1電路6aと第2電路6bの電圧比率を設定することにより行うため、第1バッテリユニット44と第2バッテリユニット24にそれぞれ搭載できる最大量のバッテリを搭載することが可能となる。
これにより、上部旋回体4の電源回路と下部走行体2の電源回路を独立に運用することができ、上部旋回体4の電源回路が破損したとしても下部走行体2の電源回路のみで油圧ショベル1を移動させることができる。また、下部走行体2の走行用電動モータ22が消費する電力のうち第2バッテリユニット24が賄うことができない分の電力のみを第1バッテリユニット44が賄うようにできるため、第1電路6aから第2電路6bに流れる電流が小さくなり、使用する部品も汎用のものを使うことができるため部品の調達コストを下げることができる。
第1電路6aと第2電路6bがコンバータ61を介して接続されているため、第1電路6aと第2電路6bを接続するスリップリング7に大きな電流が流れないことから、特殊なスリップリングを使用する必要がなく、コストの増加を抑えることができる。
前述の実施形態では、左右のクローラ21,21が左右の走行用電動モータ22,22でそれぞれ駆動されているが、左右のクローラ21,21は、左右の走行用油圧モータ27,27でそれぞれ駆動されるようにしてもよい。走行用油圧モータ27には、油圧ポンプ46から圧油が供給される。このとき、コントロールバルブ47と走行用油圧モータ27とを接続する油路27aの中途部には、スイベルジョイント28が設けられる。スイベルジョイント28は、下部走行体2と上部旋回体4との間に配置される。

- 下部走行体と、前記下部走行体に旋回自在に配置される上部旋回体とを備える電動式建設機械であって、
前記上部旋回体に配置され、前記電動式建設機械を駆動させるための電動機と、
前記上部旋回体に配置された第1蓄電装置と、
前記下部走行体に配置された第2蓄電装置と、
前記第1蓄電装置と前記第2蓄電装置に外部からの電力を供給する給電装置と、を備える電動式建設機械。 - 前記上部旋回体に配置され、前記第1蓄電装置から前記電動機に至る第1電路と、
前記下部走行体に配置され、前記第2蓄電装置から延びる第2電路と、
前記第1電路と前記第2電路とを接続する接続電路と、
前記接続電路に配置された電圧変換装置と、を備え、
前記電圧変換装置は、前記電圧変換装置を通過する電流が設定された閾値より小さい値となるように電圧の値を制御する、請求項1に記載の電動式建設機械。 - 前記電圧変換装置は、前記第1電路と前記第2電路の電圧比率を設定された値に基づいて制御する、請求項2に記載の電動式建設機械。
- 前記下部走行体に配置され、前記第2電路に接続される走行用電動モータを備える、請求項2又は3に記載の電動式建設機械。
- 前記接続電路に配置されたスリップリングを備え、
前記スリップリングは、前記下部走行体と前記上部旋回体の結合部内部に位置する、請求項2〜4の何れか1項に記載の電動式建設機械。
