Abstract
【解決手段】精製対象ガス中に含まれる有機溶媒を、PSA法によって吸着剤に吸着させて除去する有機溶媒の除去方法において、PSA法を実施する吸着塔を3塔以上使用し、3塔以上の吸着塔A,B,Cの内の2塔A,Bを、相対的に高い圧力の吸着工程と相対的に低い圧力の再生工程とに交互に切り替えるPSA操作によって精製対象ガス中に含まれる有機溶媒を除去するとともに、残りの塔Cについては、吸着塔内に連続して再生ガスを流通させて該吸着塔内の吸着剤に蓄積している有機溶媒を排出する加熱再生操作を行い、該加熱再生操作を、前記3塔以上の吸着塔に対して順番に実施する。

Claims (7)
- 精製対象ガス中に含まれる有機溶媒を、PSA法によって吸着剤に吸着させて除去する有機溶媒の除去方法において、前記PSA法を実施する吸着塔を3塔以上使用し、3塔以上の吸着塔の内の2塔を、相対的に高い圧力の吸着工程と相対的に低い圧力の再生工程とに交互に切り替えるPSA操作によって前記精製対象ガス中に含まれる有機溶媒を除去するとともに、残りの塔については、吸着塔内に連続して加熱再生ガスを流通させて該吸着塔内の吸着剤に蓄積している有機溶媒を排出する加熱再生操作を行い、該加熱再生操作を、前記3塔以上の吸着塔に対して順番に実施することを特徴とする有機溶媒の除去方法。
- 前記吸着塔が3塔であり、該3塔の吸着塔の内の2塔を、相対的に高い圧力の吸着工程と相対的に低い圧力の再生工程とに交互に切り替えるPSA操作によって前記精製対象ガス中に含まれる有機溶媒を除去するとともに、残りの1塔については、前記PSA操作の切替時間より長い時間、吸着塔内に連続して加熱再生ガスを流通させて該吸着塔内の吸着剤に蓄積している有機溶媒を排出する加熱再生操作を行い、該加熱再生操作を、前記3塔の吸着塔に対して順番に実施することを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機溶媒の除去方法。
- 前記PSA操作における1サイクルの切替時間が10分以下に設定され、前記加熱再生操作の時間が1時間から1週間の範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の有機溶媒の除去方法。
- 前記再生ガスは、50〜200℃の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の有機溶媒の除去方法。
- 前記各吸着塔にヒータをそれぞれ設置するとともに、前記加熱再生操作を実施している吸着塔を、前記ヒータによって50〜200℃の範囲に加熱することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の有機溶媒の除去方法。
- 前記各吸着塔にそれぞれ充填する有機溶媒吸着用吸着剤として、椰子殻を原料とする活性炭の破砕炭を使用し、該破砕炭の粒度を4〜20メッシュの範囲にすることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の有機溶媒の除去方法。
- 前記精製対象ガスが水素ガスであり、前記有機溶媒が、ヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレンの少なくともいずれか1種であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の有機溶媒の除去方法。
