ここで、h1は、第1の突起部610の高さであり、h2は、第2の突起部620の高さであり、xは0.25≦x≦0.6の範囲の値を有する。ここで、xが0.25より小さい場合、第2の突起部620の拡散機能が顕著に低下する場合がある。xが0.6より大きい場合、第2の突起部620と接着剤層との間の距離が近くなることによって、LCD装置の画面にムラ(黒点及び百点)が生じることがある。また、エアーギャップが十分に形成されないため、拡散及び輝度が低下される問題も発生することがある。
d1:h1=1:y (2)
ここで、d1は、第1の突起部710の第1の面710−1の直径であり、h1は、第1の突起部710の高さであり、y≦0.5である。ここで、yが0.5より大きい場合、光の輝度と光の拡散効果が減少する。
d2:h2=1:z (3)
ここで、d2は、第2の突起部720の第2の面720−1の直径であり、h2は、第2の突起部720の高さであり、z≧0.15である。この場合、zが0.15より小さい場合、光の輝度と光の拡散効果が減少する。一例で、d1及びd2が同一の場合、zは、上記yより小さいことが好ましい。
Claims (13)
- 光学フィルムであって、
複数のプリズムが一方の面に配置された第1のプリズムシートと、
前記第1のプリズムシートの他方の面に配置され、一方の面に第1の突起部及び第2の突起部が配置された拡散シートと、を含み、
前記第1の突起部は、前記第1のプリズムシートの前記他方の面に接着され、前記第2の突起部は、前記第1のプリズムシートの前記他方の面から所定の距離だけ離れて配置され、
前記第2の突起部の高さは、前記第1の突起部の高さに比べて小さく、前記第1の突起部の高さと前記第2の突起部の高さとの間の比率に基づいて設定される、光学フィルム。 - 前記第1の突起部の前記拡散シートのベースフィルムに接する第1の面は、円形又は楕円形であり、
前記第2の突起部の前記拡散シートの前記ベースフィルムに接する第2の面は、円形又は楕円形である、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第2の突起部の高さは、下記の式(1)に基づいて設定され、
h1:h2=1:x (1)
ここで、h1は、前記第1の突起部の高さであり、h2は、前記第2の突起部の高さであり、0.25≦x≦0.6である、請求項2に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第1の突起部の高さh1は、前記第1の面及び前記拡散シートのベースフィルムの一方の面から前記第1の突起部の最上端までの高さであり、
前記第2の突起部の高さh2は、前記第2の面及び前記拡散シート前記のベースフィルムの一方の面から前記第2の突起部の最上端までの高さである、請求項3に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第1の突起部の前記第1の面の直径及び前記第1の突起部の高さは、下記の式(2)に基づいて設定され、

ここで、d1は、前記第1の突起部の前記第1の面の直径であり、h1は、前記第1の突起部の高さであり、y≦0.5である、請求項3に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第2の突起部の前記第2の面の直径及び前記第2の突起部の高さは、下記の式(3)に基づいて設定され、

ここで、d2は、前記第2の突起部の前記第2の面の直径であり、h2は、前記第2の突起部の高さであり、z≧0.15である、請求項3に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第1のプリズムシートの前記一方の面に配置される第2のプリズムシートをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記第1のプリズムシート、前記第2のプリズムシート及び前記拡散シートの各々は、接着剤により相互に接着されて一体化されている、請求項7に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記拡散シートの前記一方の面に、第3の突起部がさらに配置され、前記第3の突起部の高さは、前記第1の突起部の高さに対する比率に基づいて設定される、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記第1の突起部に含まれる複数の突起の高さは、同一であり、
前記第2の突起部に含まれる複数の突起の高さは同一である、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第1の突起部に含まれる複数の突起及び前記第2の突起部に含まれる複数の突起は、ランダムに配置される、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記拡散シートの他方の面に光の拡散のための複数の突起をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記第1の突起部は、前記第2の突起部の複数の突起間に一部が重なって形成される、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
