Claims (21)
- 太陽電池パネルと、前記太陽電池パネルによって発電された電力を蓄電するバッテリと、前記バッテリに蓄電された電力を用いて地上に通信エリアを形成して前記通信エリア内のユーザ端末に無線通信サービスを提供するためのアンテナとを有する複数の飛行体を制御する制御装置であって、
前記通信エリアによって対象エリアをカバーしながら飛行している飛行体である複数の現用飛行体から、交代対象の現用飛行体を選択する飛行体選択部と、
前記交代対象の現用飛行体と、前記通信エリアを形成せずに飛行している飛行体である待機飛行体とを交代させる交代制御部と、
を備える制御装置。 - 前記待機飛行体は、前記交代対象の現用飛行体よりも高い高度を飛行しており、
前記交代制御部は、前記待機飛行体を、前記交代対象の現用飛行体よりも飛行に電力を使用しない飛行方法で、前記交代対象の現用飛行体に向けて移動させ、前記現用飛行体と交代させる、請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 前記交代制御部は、前記交代対象の現用飛行体よりもグラウンディングの時間が長い飛行方法で、前記交代対象の現用飛行体に向けて移動させ、前記現用飛行体と交代させる、請求項2に記載の制御装置。
- 前記交代制御部は、前記交代対象の現用飛行体と、前記待機飛行体とを交代させる交代時期を決定し、前記交代時期に、前記待機飛行体と前記交代対象の現用飛行体とを交代させる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記交代制御部は、前記交代対象の現用飛行体のバッテリの状態、前記交代対象の現用飛行体が飛行している飛行エリアの気象、及び前記交代対象の現用飛行体が前記ユーザ端末に提供している無線通信サービスにおける通信トラフィックの少なくともいずれかに基づいて、前記交代時期を決定する、請求項4に記載の制御装置。
- 前記交代制御部は、前記交代時期よりも前に、前記待機飛行体を、前記交代対象の飛行体の飛行エリアに対応する位置の飛行エリアに移動させる、請求項4又は5に記載の制御装置。
- 前記交代制御部は、前記交代対象の現用飛行体によって前記ユーザ端末に提供される無線通信サービスの通信トラフィックが相対的に少ない時期を、前記交代時期として決定する、請求項4から6のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記交代時期は夜間である、請求項7に記載の制御装置。
- 前記交代制御部は、前記交代対象の現用飛行体を、前記待機飛行体と交代させた後、前記通信エリアを形成せずに飛行しながら待機させるか、地上に移動させるかを決定し、決定した内容に従って、前記待機飛行体と交代した前記現用飛行体を制御する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記複数の現用飛行体のそれぞれのバッテリの状態を示すバッテリ情報を取得するバッテリ情報取得部
を備え、
前記飛行体選択部は、前記バッテリ情報に基づいて、前記交代対象の現用飛行体を選択する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。 - 前記バッテリ情報は、前記バッテリのバッテリ残量及び前記バッテリの蓄電性能の少なくともいずれかを含む請求項10に記載の制御装置。
- 前記飛行体選択部は、前記複数の現用飛行体のうち、前記バッテリのバッテリ残量がより少ない現用飛行体を優先的に前記交代対象の現用飛行体として選択する、請求項11に記載の制御装置。
- 前記飛行体選択部は、前記複数の現用飛行体のうち、前記バッテリの蓄電性能がより劣化している現用飛行体を優先的に前記交代対象の現用飛行体として選択する、請求項11に記載の制御装置。
- 前記複数の現用飛行体のそれぞれが飛行している飛行エリアの気象情報を取得する気象情報取得部
を備え、
前記飛行体選択部は、前記気象情報に基づいて、前記交代対象の現用飛行体を選択する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。 - 前記飛行体選択部は、前記複数の現用飛行体のうち、飛行している飛行エリアの気象が、より電力を消費する気象である現用飛行体を優先的に前記交代対象の現用飛行体として選択する、請求項14に記載の制御装置。
- 前記複数の現用飛行体のそれぞれが提供する無線通信サービスにおける通信トラフィックを示すトラフィック情報を取得するトラフィック情報取得部
を備え、
前記飛行体選択部は、前記トラフィック情報に基づいて、前記交代対象の現用飛行体を選択する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。 - 前記飛行体選択部は、前記複数の現用飛行体のうち、提供する無線通信サービスにおける通信トラフィックがより多い現用飛行体を優先的に前記交代対象の現用飛行体として選択する、請求項16に記載の制御装置。
- 前記飛行体選択部は、前記複数の現用飛行体のバッテリの状態、前記複数の現用飛行体のそれぞれが飛行している飛行エリアの気象、及び前記複数の現用飛行体のそれぞれが前記ユーザ端末に提供している無線通信サービスにおける通信トラフィックの少なくともいずれかに基づいて、前記複数の現用飛行体のそれぞれの交代期限を決定する、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記飛行体選択部は、前記複数の現用飛行体のうち、交代期限がより早く訪れる飛行体を、前記交代対象の現用飛行体として選択する、請求項18に記載の制御装置。
- コンピュータを、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の制御装置として機能させるためのプログラム。
- 太陽電池パネルと、前記太陽電池パネルによって発電された電力を蓄電するバッテリと、前記バッテリに蓄電された電力を用いて地上に通信エリアを形成して前記通信エリア内のユーザ端末に無線通信サービスを提供するためのアンテナとを有する複数の飛行体を制御する制御方法であって、
前記通信エリアによって対象エリアをカバーしながら飛行している飛行体である複数の現用飛行体から、交代対象の現用飛行体を選択する飛行体選択段階と、
前記交代対象の現用飛行体と、前記通信エリアを形成せずに飛行している飛行体である待機飛行体とを交代させる交代制御段階と、
