Claims (20)
- 発光層と、
前記発光層上に位置し、かつ第1電子輸送材料を含む、第1電子輸送層と、
前記第1電子輸送層の、前記発光層から遠位側に位置し、かつ正孔除去材料を含む、正孔除去層と、
前記正孔除去層の、前記第1電子輸送層から遠位側に位置し、かつ第2電子輸送材料を含む、第2電子輸送層と、
を備え、
前記正孔除去材料は、前記第1電子輸送層または前記第2電子輸送層中の過剰な正孔によって生じた励起子を、放射減衰によって基底状態へ遷移させることができる第1発光材料を含む、
有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記正孔除去層の厚みは、約1nm〜約5nmである、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記正孔除去材料は、ホスト材料と、発光ゲスト材料とを含む、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記発光ゲスト材料の前記ホスト材料に対する比は、約1重量%〜約3重量%である、
請求項3に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第2電子輸送層の、前記正孔除去層から遠位側に位置し、かつ電子注入材料を含む電子注入層をさらに備え、
前記発光層は、第2発光材料を含み、
前記ホスト材料の最低空軌道(LUMO)エネルギーレベルは、前記第2発光材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルと前記電子注入材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルとの間にある、
請求項3に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1電子輸送材料と前記第2電子輸送材料は、異なるLUMOエネルギーレベルを有する2種類の異なる電子輸送材料であり、
前記ホスト材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルは、前記第1電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルと前記第2電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルとの間にある、
請求項3に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記ホスト材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルは、前記第1電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルの約75%〜約125%であり、
前記ホスト材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルは、前記第2電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルの約75%〜約125%である、
請求項3に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記ホスト材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルと前記第1電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルとの差は、約−0.6eV〜約0.6eVであり、
前記ホスト材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルと前記第2電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルとの差は、約−0.6eV〜約0.6eVである、
請求項3に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記発光層は、第2発光材料を含み、前記第1発光材料と前記第2発光材料は、同じ発光材料を含む、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記発光層は、第2発光材料を含み、前記第1発光材料と前記第2発光材料は、異なる発光材料である、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第2発光材料は青色発光材料であり、前記第1発光材料は緑色燐光発光材料である、
請求項10に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1発光材料は、燐光発光ゲスト材料である、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1発光材料は、黄色燐光発光材料である、
請求項12に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1発光材料は、蛍光発光材料である、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1発光材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルは、前記第1電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルの約75%〜約125%であり、
前記第1発光材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルは、前記第2電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルの約75%〜約125%である、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1発光材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルと前記第1電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルとの差は、約−0.6eV〜約0.6eVであり、
前記第1発光材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルと前記第2電子輸送材料のLUMOエネルギーレベルとの差は、約−0.6eV〜約0.6eVである、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 前記第1電子輸送層と前記第2電子輸送層は、同じ電子輸送材料で製造される、
請求項1に記載の有機発光ダイオード。 - 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の有機発光ダイオードを備えた、表示パネル。
- 請求項18に記載の表示パネルを備えた表示装置。
- 発光層を形成することと、
前記発光層上に、第1電子輸送材料を含む第1電子輸送層を形成することと、
前記第1電子輸送層の、前記発光層から遠位側に、正孔除去材料を含む正孔除去層を形成することと、
前記正孔除去層の、前記第1電子輸送層から遠位側に、第2電子輸送材料を含む第2電子輸送層を形成することと、
を含み、
前記正孔除去材料は、前記第1電子輸送層または前記第2電子輸送層中の過剰な正孔によって生じた励起子を、放射減衰によって基底状態へ遷移させることができる第1発光材料を含む、
有機発光ダイオードの製造方法。
