Description
本出願は、2016年4月21日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/325、729号に基づく優先権を主張するものである。上記出願は、その全文を引用することを以って本明細書の一部となす。
本発明は、フェイスマスクに関し、特に、相変化材料を使用して微気候を冷却することにより快適さが向上したフェイスマスクに関する。

Claims (31)
- 飛沫耐性を有する多層構造体から形成されたフェイスマスクであって、
前記多層構造体は、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する外側材料層と、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する内側材料層と、
前記内側材料層の前記内向き面上に配置された第1の複数の3次元スペーサとを含み、
前記第1の複数の3次元スペーサは、不連続パターンで配置され、かつ
前記第1の複数の3次元スペーサは、カプセル化された相変化材料を含むことを特徴とするフェイスマスク。 - 前記相変化材料は、バインダによりカプセル化されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記第1の複数の3次元スペーサは、基材上に配置されたことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記基材は、不織材料であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記基材は、前記内側材料層の前記内向き面の表面積の約10%ないし約100%を覆うことを特徴とする、請求項3または4に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記不織材料は、ポリエステル、ポリオレフィン、天然繊維混合物、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする、請求項4または5に記載のフェイスマスク。

- 当該フェイスマスクは、当該フェイスマスクの着用者の呼出後に、前記内側材料層と前記着用者の顔との間に形成された微気候を、約1℃ないし約7℃の温度範囲で冷却することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記相変化材料は、当該フェイスマスクのデッドスペース領域内の呼気から熱を吸収することによって、及び当該フェイスマスクの着用者の皮膚から熱を吸収することによって、当該フェイスマスクに対して約2、600ジュール/m2ないし約20、000ジュール/m2の冷却を提供することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記相変化材料は、当該フェイスマスクのデッドスペース領域内の呼気から熱を吸収することによって、及び当該フェイスマスクの着用者の皮膚から熱を吸収することによって、当該フェイスマスクに対して少なくとも約30ジュールの冷却を提供することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記多層構造体内に配置された所定の層の表面上に配置された第2の複数の3次元スペーサをさらに含み、

前記熱伝導性材料は、前記内側材料層、前記外側材料層、またはそれらの組み合わせのR値(熱抵抗値)を減少させることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし21のいずれかに記載のフェイスマスク。 - 前記熱伝導性材料は、金属粒子、金属繊維、金属インク、熱伝導性ポリマー、炭素、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする、請求項22または23に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記内側材料層、前記外側材料層、またはそれらの組み合わせは、吸水性材料を含み、
前記吸水性材料は、前記内側材料層、前記外側材料層、またはそれらの組み合わせのR値(熱抵抗値)を減少させることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし24のいずれかに記載のフェイスマスク。 - 前記吸水性材料は、綿繊維、レーヨン繊維、界面活性剤で処理されたセルロース繊維、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする、請求項25に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 飛沫耐性を有する多層構造体から形成されたフェイスマスクであって、
前記多層構造体は、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する外側材料層と、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する内側材料層と、
前記内側材料層を貫通して配置された複数の3次元スペーサとを含み、
前記複数の3次元スペーサの各々は、
前記内側材料層の前記外向き面上に配置された第1の部分と、
前記内側材料層の前記内向き面上に配置された第2の部分と、
前記内側材料層を貫通して配置され、前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分間に連続的な経路を提供するチャンネルを画定する第3の部分とを含み、かつ
前記複数の3次元スペーサは、カプセル化された相変化材料を含むことを特徴とするフェイスマスク。 - 前記複数の3次元スペーサは、不連続パターンで配置されたことを特徴とする、請求項27に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 前記複数の3次元スペーサの前記第2の部分が前記内側材料層の前記内向き面に接触する面積は、前記複数の3次元スペーサの前記第3の部分が前記内側材料層の前記外向き面に接触する面積よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項27または28に記載のフェイスマスク。
- 飛沫耐性を有する多層構造体から形成されたフェイスマスクであって、
前記多層構造体は、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する外側材料層と、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する内側材料層と、
前記内側材料層の前記内向き面上に配置された複数の3次元スペーサとを含み、
前記複数の3次元スペーサは、不連続パターンで配置され、
前記複数の3次元スペーサは、カプセル化された相変化材料を含み、
前記相変化材料は、当該フェイスマスクに対して約2、600ジュール/m2ないし約20、000ジュール/m2の冷却を提供することを特徴とするフェイスマスク。 - 飛沫耐性を有する多層構造体から形成されたフェイスマスクであって、
前記多層構造体は、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する外側材料層と、
外向き面及び内向き面を有する内側材料層と、
前記内側材料層の前記向き面上に配置された複数の3次元スペーサとを含み、
前記複数の3次元スペーサは、不連続パターンで配置され、
前記複数の3次元スペーサは、カプセル化された相変化材料を含み、
前記相変化材料は、当該フェイスマスクに対して少なくとも約30ジュール/m2の冷却を提供することを特徴とするフェイスマスク。
